Do you ask God for signs?

i dont ask for signs but I ask for answers..for whatever is bothering me..I usually ask for clarification..then in the end I just let God do His will..saying that whatever I deserve or will be good for me please let Your will be done..kasi alam ko naman that God will only give what is good for me or what I deserve..whether negative man yan o positive sa aking pananaw,..basta Siya na bahala..there may be lessons I have to learn

in the words of Saint Agustin, "Pray as if everything depends on God, work as if everything depends on you"...

My simple formula is that before i start everything I ask for God's guidance, so that I may decide properly and weigh things accordingly, then I start doing it, but as the work progress, I keep on praying that may the merciful God bless my work, if it be for my good, the people around me, and that I may glorify Him thru this work, may He allow it to succeed.

Pray for guidance, work with all your best, and pray that God will bless the work...

I'm very fond of asking for signs. Think most people do. For reassurance and confirmation I guess. Usually it keeps my hopes alive when I ask.

I dont practice this because I didnt believe in it until my mom advised me recently to ask for a sign.
I'm already decided to quit my job, leave the city and just live again under my parents' roof but when i told my mom about it, she advised not to quit yet until i find another job. she told me to ask for a sign... so i did. two days after our conversation, the company I applied in three months ago called me... so... there!

I never asked for a sign but He gave me one again this morning. I guess He knew I was sort of having doubts again. It's always a butterfly. And it's of the same color I asked before. He always gives me one.

A lot...before pero super stupid on my part rin that I think lahat na lang sign. haha. Sometimes we ask for a sign but we know exactly what we already want. We want to make these signs to take in charge when we try to decide. Though I believe may mga signs na nakakatulong, minsan it creates more confusion. Sabi nga nila try flipping a coin and when you wish while the coin is mid air, then you know na what you want. Siguro we just need a little guidance that's all.

I do believe in Signs, in my own POV, its just a guide, i know God is always listening. That's one way of communicating him.

IMO, so many people ask for signs pero my parents always tell me na sometimes those signs are not from God. Sometimes, it comes from the devil. And narealize ko na, oo nga noh! May mga times na nagiging desperate na tayo sa buhay and pinagpipilitan natin yung signs para lang sumangayon sa mga wish or desires natin. My mom's story is that her sister asked signs from God na kapag naka-black na payong yung boyfriend niya, siya na yung magiging "FOREVER" niya. And kinasal na nga po aunt ko kay tito na naka-black payong. Unfortunately, my aunt became a battered wife and hiwalay na sila ngayon pero nagkaanak sila. So I never ask God for signs. I ask God for strong faith and guidance! tee hee!!

I did. and now, I don't want too na. kasi pag nagbigay ng sign sakin, malupit :-( talagang malupit... yung tipong may masakit na nangyayari, may muntik nang namamatay. grabe. katakot. ayaw ko nang ganun. yung tipong sobrang narrow down ang decisyon.

when I was younger oo pero parang di effective. Ngayon hinde na, I just pray na 'thy will be done' na lang.  Maluwag ko naman naaacept yung will Nya.

I did ask for a sign pero mali ata ang intindi ko e kasi palpak ang nangyari.  Ngayon nagpe-pray na lang ako na ibigay na lang kung ibibigay. Pero ewan nasa stage ako ngayon na nagdi-drift ang faith kaya I'm asking for a miracle, it may sound that I'm challenging Him pero sa sa dami ng unanswered prayers ko halos nawawalan na ko ng pag-asa sa Kanya but I'm still trying to hold on. Sana pakinggan Niya itong dinadasal ko ngayon kahit nagkakaganito ako. Kung pagsubok man ito, ayaw ko na, ayaw ko na talaga. Suko na ko. Sabi daw "God gives the hardest battle to His toughest soldiers". Ako napanghihinaan na ng loob. Simple lang naman ang pinagdadaanan ko kumpara sa iba, simple lang din naman ang hiling ko pero bakit parang hirap na hirap Siya ibigay?
