I became OFW for two years.  That's the time I was able to save this amount.  I also bought investments that's why its not 1M in cash but in assets.  Now, I want to go back to Manila to invest in Mutual funds or stocks.  My operating expenses will be from my PHP then on and yung nasave ko being an OFW, papaikutin ko.

I am 24 years old. Worked for 2 years and recently resigned also cause I hated what I was doing.. Syempre, wala ako naipon kasi it was my first job then and had to buy the things I wanted.. But now, I have a part time job and earn around 25 - 30k a month.. mejo mahirap at first but i recently started saving and at the same time giving money to my parents, pinapaayos kasi house namin sa province... Im glad that at least kahit papano, meron na ako 20k sa bank.. then mas madali na dagdagan since nakikita ko lumalaki at dumadami un digits sa bank..

Sana by 30 years old, I can have my first million too...

i love reading this thread! the key here is to be consistent. dapat lagi nasa isip natin ang goal natin. hindi pwede na ngayon i-goal natin maging milyonaryo then next day may bagong labas na iphone, nakalimutan na natin ang goal hehe.

Joining.. nakaka-impress kayo na-realize ko tuloy 5 yrs nako abroad still karampot lang ang ipon! yung first work ko kasi nung una kong labas malitt lang ang sahod ko, so mostly remittance ko sa mom ko napupunta and then i was able to open a dollar acct. then i had an emergency with bf (then now my husband) kaya nabawasan ko ang $ acct ko.
now im trying to re-gain my savings, everytime kasi na makauwi ako ng pinas yung savings ko sa bank ang ginagawa kong pang-gastos.
nagyon ive got an increase, parang mas dumoble ang gastos ko though hindi ako nkakalimot maghulog for my savings. i hope i can save 1M na din when i reach my 30.

In between age 28 or 29 siguro kasi last year when I read sa kabilang thread, I tried to calculate our networth and lumampas na nga sya ng kaunti sa 1M. Sa amin naman mag-asawa tipid talaga kami and invest, nung nakita ni hubby na malaki na pala naipon namin lalong syang ginanahang magtipid. So regular calculating your networth really helps.

i read that most of our sisters eh more or less at the age of 30 ang goal. well, i am aiming at younger age! 29 siguro. haha. deeh. saludo ako sa mga sisters natin na nakareach na ng kanilang first 1M pesosesoses. SALAMAT! nainspire niyo akong lahat.

at the age of 21 and one year of working...ngayon pa lang ako maguumpisa magipon for my first 1M pesos. i didnt have any savings nung college days ko. nakakahiya kasi ang gastador ko pa during those days. haaaays. siguro ang pampalubag loob ko nalang is that i was a scholar then. so kahit papaano less gastos sa akin ang mom ko considering na i need to pay rent for my bhouse, allowances, transpo pauwi sa province, gadgets, etc.

I want my first 1M to be on cash. iba pa yung sa house, car, etc. i will get this ASAP kahit na ang dami kong gustong gawin like to have masters and phd degree, tour my mom "around the world" and to have a house i can call my "mansion". haha. kung tutuusin yan lang din naman "pangarap" kong maachieve for myself while single pa ako. libre naman mangarap eh.

I WILL START TO REACH MY FIRST MILLION PESOS TODAY! mooore fighting spirit for me...for us! go sisters!

^ you can do it sis, I never expected din na maka 1M kami kasi we are also sending our siblings to school and si hubby hanggang ngayon still support his brothers financially kasi walang mga work but God is really good kasi he bless us abundantly. We don't know sis that along your way to your millions God will bless you big time that will help you reach the 1M mark on or before your target age.

yung sa akin nareach ko sya nung 27 ako but in asset then at 29 naman in asset pa rin medyo kuripot ako di me namimili ng mga signature clothes at bags laging sale pa ako namimili  abroad ako work sipag at tyaga lang talaga. start din me sa wala at lagi nakasandal kay mother nuon. ngayon mag32 na ako this year at try ipon pa din

Wow, sis. Congratulations! You and your husband did a very good job. I'm paying my debts this month and closing some accounts. Although na sad ako kasi I'll be losing my savings, pero I want a new start. Thank you talaga. I am taking savings and investments more seriously this time. I'll be joining a Finance Group din.

don't worry you will  i started late too, went back to school at aged 26 then 2 jobs while in school

It's never too late to start... And once you hit your first million... the feeling... sobrang saya.

And agree ako with yena... may worksheet akong nahanap sa net... palagi ko ina-update. So I am very conscious of my net worth growth. Helps when you realize if stagnant ka na, falling behind or growing too fast (i wish).

Joining too! So far with my salary, I'm not getting any savings. I'll work my way around it! My target is before I get married or before I'm 30, whichever is happens earlier.

I'm way too far from reaching ,y first  MILLION.  Taking baby steps. Nagiipon pa lang ako ng emergency fund ko.  Hope to reach that big M by 2020.
