Ever since I've heard of the Higantes Islands, I placed it on my must-see list.  Hopefully this year.

@FrozenToes sis, raymen is just an average resort. it shares the strip of alubihod beach with 4 or 5 other resorts. one cove away (actually tabi lang) is puerto del mar which has its own private strip of beaches. as all resorts, they allow the use of showers for day trippers. raymen and puerto del mar are located in nueva valencia town, with jordan as entry point.

waa kainis hindi ako tuloy sa dinagyang walang pera baka hindi lang para sa akin kakauwi ko lang kasi iloilo nung dec... palagi naman ako nasa iloilo kasi dun parents ko ang mahirap hindi ko pa siya naeexplore and daming maganda dun na island sa concepcion and sa may carmen... bsta sa northern part ng iloilo

hindi ko pa siya naeexplore and daming maganda dun na island sa concepcion and sa may carmen... bsta sa northern part ng iloilo

i've been to sandbar island in concepcion town and it has its own beach resort. the island is so clean and almost uninhabited (at that time). my other companions went island hopping from sandbar. they went to pan de azucar, agho, etc.  we also went to another idyllic island in ajuy but i forgot the name.

yup sis isa lang si kuya marvin at si kuya mai. 4 din kami sis, pero me pahabol na isang cousin ni hubby. pero pag dating namin dun bubukod kami ng room ni hubby

last sat on gma news tv, na feature ang guimaras sa show ni drew arellano where a couple was challenged to 3 tasks. ang ganda ng episode na yun. marami silang napuntahan and talagang bonding ang couple. i just forgot the name of the show. google nyo na lang mga sis kasi very helpful talaga ang mga sinabi nila at pinakita.

hindi ko maasikaso ng ayos ang Iloilo-Bacolod trip namin.... went online to get Villa Igang's contact info and found this bad review of the resort.

has anyone been there lately? or are there other better recommendations?

we're not very particular naman... basta lang sana we'd be comfy when we're in the room (we have kids) and syempre, hindi kami mawawalan ng pera
