i am done with my upper lid surgery 1st post op ko today. tolerable naman yung pain kaso mukha akong pusa kasi namamaga pa. tyaga lang dapat sa pag cold compress.

sa rodriguez eye care clinic. yung pain, mafi-feel mo after mag wear off yung anesthesia. so roughly mga 20-30 mins after ng procedure. they advised me to drink the pain killer na agad. tolerable naman sa akin yung pain, parang normal na pain lang pag nasugatan ka (but thats me, and my pain tolerance is high). the day after, dun na sya nagkaroon ng swelling so i had to do cold compress. pang 2nd day ko na today and medyo nagsubside na yung maga, makati na rin yung op-site so tinatyaga ko na lang na lagyan ng ice para di ko kamutin.

hi jookeulae, pang ilang days nila tatanggalin yung stitches? bale ilang beses babalik sa doctor after ng operation?

^after 1 week ka babalik para alisin ang stitches.

2nd day ko na today. di masakit at all. mukha lang akong frankenstein! hahaha

its not as painful as it looks nga. yung mga kasama ko sa bahay ayaw ako tignan kasi parang nasasaktan daw sila for me eh sabi ko nga hindi naman masakit. mas masakit pa nung naginject ng anesthesia tsaka post op nung nagwear off na yung gamot.

so far sa akin medyo may umbok pa dun sa pinagtahian. sana mawala na totally. at times parang masakit lalo na pag nagmamassage ako ng serum tapos nahihila yung balat.

11days post op ko ngayon at super natataasan ako sa crease! as in nag iba ang mukha ko parang ibang tao

sabi naman ng isang sis dito bababa pa. yung sayo ganun rin??

it's been 1 month pero natataasan parin ako sa crease! parang sausage like yung linya mismo...

haay sana magbago pa!

bago ba kayo operahan, diniscuss niyo mabuti kung gaano kataas gagawin? as in sinukat ba ng doc ?

sa Belo kasi sa araw na ng operation tatanungin. walang sukat sukat. basta kung low or high crease lang.

eh ang dami pa palang types ng crease. may tapered, parallel.

^hindi kaya dahil swollen pa siya? for me kasi after nawala yung maga (2-3wks) hindi na nagbago yung size ng crease. and mukhang wala akong pinagawa.

during consultation sinukat yung eyelids ko and sinabi sakin kung ano gagawin. di ko na gets pero oo lang ako hehe! i was very specific na gusto ko natural and hindi halatang may pinagawa. droopy na kasi eyelids ko and nag wri-wrinkle above the lashes kaya gusto ko ipabawas. im not very particular kung makita yung double eyelid basta gusto ko lang mukhang awake/fresh and mukha kasi mataray look ko before.

yes sis madaming klase ng crease and it has to suit your eye shape and facial features. there is no one size fits all sa mga ganyan kasi iba-iba ang itsura ng tao.

Hello! Been lurking for a while but just now decided to join the community.

So as the title says, I'd like some tips before going through with blepharoplasty, or double-eyelid surgery. So far, I have two clinics in mind: Shinagawa Lasik & Aesthetics in Makati, and Beaufaces Cosmetic Surgery & Facial Center in Quezon. Anyone have any experiences with either of those clinics? How did you find the surgeons? Were you happy with your results?

Also planning to ask some questions, like:

1.) Where did you do your training?
2.) Are you board-certified?
3.) How long have you been in practice?
4.) How many times have you done blepharoplasty?
5.) Do you have hospital privileges?

Any other questions I should ask?

Hi all! I made an appt at Shinagawa tomorrow, and I have high hopes! Pero 45k daw yung cost? Just wondering if this is just a starting price and not final. I'm willing to pay whatever is necessary to ensure a safe operation but 45k seems too pricey, especially when others paid around 30k only? Do you think the price will be lowered? Rude ba if I ask for it cheaper? Haha

I had mine done last 2 years ago at shinagawa clinic with Dr. Nuez. The surgery was close to painless and the recovery went well (almost painless / tolerable).I had a week down time before I went back to work. The procedure went well and mine is almost unnoticeable (like people just comment I look more blooming / my eyes look more happy). Nobody figured out I had bleph unless I tell them. The only down side that I can tell is the scar. Mine can be seen when I close my eyes and when I dont have eye makeup. The scar is a bit lighter than my skin so it was really hard to fade them.

honestly, nung una disappointed ako kasi hindi man lang sinukat ng doctor kung gaano kataas yung crease. basta sa day ng operation, tinanong lang ako kung low or high crease. that's it.

pero ngayon after 3 months, super love ko na! worth it lahat.sana pala dati pa ako nagpagawa.

advice ko lang: be prepared sa healing time! yon ang nakaka depressed. kasi feeling mo ang taas taas ng crease mo, pero natural yon kasi nag hheal pa. mga 3months tsaka bababa
