Questions about Civil Wedding

hi mga sis and bro's, i would like to ask about how long does it take to process a civil wedding and what forms and processes are involved.

HI, I'm assuming you're a sis, ask ko lang...is there a rush ba? Ang alam ko pag civil wedding mabilis lang eh, pwede nga siguro 1 week lang preparation (if you need any) provided may CENOMAR ka na.yun yata ang matagal i-request eh, although personally hindi pa required yan nung nag-asawa ako.Depending on your ages, alam ko ito ang mga nire-require:
1-CENOMAR, Birth certificate of both the lady and the man-NSO copies dapat to acquire/file for MARRIAGE LICENSE APPLICATION; not sure kung need ng BARANGGAY CERTIFICATE ang both parties from their respective towns
2-parental consent (If 18 but below 21 si girl) or parental advise (if above 21 but below 24 ? si girl)
3-ATTEND A MARRIAGE SEMINAR kasi may ibibigay na CERTIFICATE- OF ATTENDANCE, required din for MARRIAGE LICENSE APPLICATION-which may take time, depending on the availability/schedule in your city/town
3-make an appointment with the judge/officiant of choice in either the town/city of the man/ woman para ma-schedule yung day ng ceremony.

Pag-usapan ninyo muna kanino ninyo gusto magpakasal.  Kapag civil pwede kayo pakasal sa huwes(judge) na kilala ninyo sa lugar ninyo, maaarin din sa mayor ninyo, pwede rin sa justice ng Court of Appeals or Supreme Court. 

Importante na maka-secure kayo ng marriage license.  Valid yun for 60 days unless more than 5 years na kayo magka live in, pwede na i-waive yun, pagawa lang kayo affidavit.

Kailangan ninyo 2 witness kung ayaw ninyo maraming bisita kahit 2 lang na witness ok na.

Depende rin sa age ninyo, if below 26 kailangan ninyo either parent's consent or parent's advise. 

Punta lang kayo sa local civil register ng city or municipality to check the complete list of requirement.

Hi bro!

I got married last Sep 9. Mayor nagkasal sa amin sa municipal hall.

1. CENOMAR - 2 weeks makukuha when you apply around 600 for both of you. This will certify that both of you are not married talaga so it's very important. di pede ikasal pag wala yan
2. Birth Cert - NSO
3. Barangay Clearance - depende, sa case ko si hubby lang hiningan kasi sa lugar nila kami kinasal, ako yung dayo hehe
4. Seminar - family planning etc. May mga kinakasal na hindi na nagseseminar pero maganda yung makaattend talaga kayo
5. Wedding Ring, Aras, Ninong and Ninang, Camera - dala ka nyan bro, para rin syang church wedding yung mga sinasabi na vows (tinatanggap ko po si ____ bilang kabiyak blah blah) and take note may kiss the bride pa rin LOL

Nakakkuha na kami ng marriage liscence ng h2b ko. Now, papa sched nalang kami ng wedding date.

ANG PROBLEMA:
Nung pumunta ako sa hall of justice to ask kung saan papa schedule ng civil wedding, tinuro ako ng guard sa isang guard pa at pinasamahan ako sa room ng isang, apparently, reverend. Tapos kinausap ako privately at hinihingan ako ng 3,500 para sa processing daw lahat lahat. Pinagddown na niya ko ng 2k that moment. Tapos kailangan sa marriage certificate namin, yung isa daw idedeclare niya na Christian yung religion. Eh parehas kaming Roman Catholic ng h2b ko. Eh i find it kaduda duda kaya sabi ko nalng mag wiwithdraw lang ako for the down payment pero umalis na ltga ako at di nako bumalik muna.

MY QUESTION IS:
Saan ba dederetso pag punta ko sa Hall of Justice sa QC City Hall to schedue a date for our civil wedding? We're nearly there, pero this fixers are taking us long. And also our Dayshift work.

I hope someone could help me point the direction to the right person in Hall of Justice.

Dapat walang bayad yan kung meron man di ganyan kalaki, kaloka...3,5k? hala...

and bakit kailangan ideclare na Christian daw? that's weird. Find someone with authority to talk to and ask about the process..baka ginogoyo lang kayo nyan

it depends, kapag below 25 yrs old ang couple na ikakasal kailangan pa ng presence ng guardian dahil may pipirmahan na parang consent form..

You need to fill out forms, submit id picture, [textspeak!] and cedula.
after submitting these, you'll have to attend the pre marriage counselling. go back to reg office and you will then have your license in about 10 days.  The license is good for 140 days. Good luck!

sis micci.. birth certificate yun isa make sure dala niyo lahat ng requirements. and para mas mabilis make it earlier before lunch.minsan kasi pwede kana mag family planning seminar agad.then go back to the reg office to give certificate copy. after 10 days pwede na makuha yung license. good luck!

^sis, 1x1 lang. pinakuha kami ng cedula. bf ko kasi yung nag process nakaupo lang ako. sabi naman niya di na kinuha yung cedula at hindi naman tinignan. pero isa to sa mga requirements.so i suggest magdala na rin kayo para hindi na pabalik balik di ba
