what if i plan to take masteral na full-time? do they have morning skeds as well? i wanna resign kasi from my job and study nalang muna.

i'm eyeing on DLSU or UP. ano pala difference if diploma course or master's kunin ko from the Graduate school? I wanna start din sa term 3.. January 2012 start sa DLSU e.

mahirap ba mga entrance exam?

I'm currently taking up Women and Development sa UPD. Three days after my graduation last April, I applied and good thing pumasa naman. I was so undecided with what I really want to do with my life so gora lang. But now, best decision ever. The course is slowly changing a big part of myself (in a very good way) plus sobrang okay yung people around me because they never fail to inspire.

mga sis, naka-sked na ko for exam bukas sa dlsu. pagpray nyo ko! waah! haha! antagal ko na kasing graduate hindi na ko masyado maalam sa mga exams na yan kahit pa sabihing basic sila. ano ba dapat aralin? hayyy.. tska sa interview ano kaya mga itatanong? sana talaga pumasa man lang ako kasi decided na talaga ako dito e..

thanks mga sis. done na! whew! ewan kung papasa ko dun. haha! basic lang naman yung exam, math and reading compre. kaso sa tagal ko ng di nagaral e ewan ko kung tama ba mga nasagot ko. haha! yung exam time pressured din. so marami ako di natapos. hehe! may essay din. pero yung essay para lang malaman kung dapat ka pang magtake ng 2subjs. na advance english ba yun.

^^sis, term 3 ka? magpass ka na baka deadline na ng submission ng reqts.

part time if ever sis. sa taft ako nagexam. may interview ba lahat? ano ba questions dun? nabasa ko naman kasi sa step by step procedure e not all will be called for interview.

^ mahaba yung exam? how long nyo tinake?

Ang alam ko, wala naman talagang maximum allowable units, for as long as available yung subjects na kukunin mo, and no conflict sa schedule mo. Normally, pag sa graduate school ka na, during admission, either your department head or adviser will discuss a study plan for you. naka layout na dun kung ilang subjects ang kakayanin mo kunin per semester, para ma estimate mo na din kelan mo matatapos yung course. Most schedules are every night and weekends, kasi majority of grad students are either employed, self-employed, or businessmen. I'm speaking for the school where I came from ha, hindi ko lang alam if it applies to all.

pero if plan ko mag-full time... meron din bang morning classes since kaya naman if di ko isasabay mag-work?

1. I work at night on weekdays so schedule matters to me. What are the usual class schedules?
- Classes are normally scheduled from 6pm to 9pm on weekdays.  Fridays are normally used for make-up classes but may class na din ng fridays pag nasa final year ka na - refresher and electives.  On Saturdays, classes start at 8am and lasts for 3 hours. So, that 8am to 11:15 (may 15 minute break kasi)
2. Around how much do you spend per semester given that you take 6 units per semester? How much per unit? - I normally pay around Php22K per term.

^sis bakit ayaw mo mag-UP since gusto mu naman i-full time? yung dlsu, admu kasi para talaga sa mga working na di kaya magful [textspeak!] gawa ng work. pero kaw na may privelege magfull time, pwede  ka up kasi matututukan mu?

Wow! Buti na lang may thread na ganitoooo. I'm currently working at night and naisip ko nga na since hindi pa naman demanding ang job role ko, I might as well take a masters degree. Balak ko MA Psych concentration in I/O sa admu. Natakot ako ng konti sa feeling na baka nga sa pagtagal, magsawa ako sa pag-aaral. Any tips para sa entrance exam ng admu or anyone planning to apply there next year?  TIA!

not yet sis. di ko nga lam kung makikita na yung results sa dts lang o kelangan ko tumawag para malaman. kinakabahan ako kasi dami ko di nasagutan. hay.

^^sis, siguro hindi puro mga fresh grad ang kasama mu, ok yun nkakachallenge diba. tsaka ibang level na sila mag-isip madami ka matutunan, thou kakakaba nga! hehe!
