sisses! ilang years ba usualy ang masteral???... im planning to take MSIT pero it depends pa kung ilang years, bka kc msyadong matagal at mainip ako hahaha

gusto ko rin magtake ng master's degree sa ust, up or lasalle. kaso di pa ako sure kung dapat ba akong mag-MBA or i-pursue ang napornada kong 1st choice na course ko na comp sci. maganda bang mag take uli ako ng bachelor's degree sa comp sci or mag-MS na agad? wala kasi akong makitang nag-ooffer ng master's degree sa comp sci sa ust. or kung MBA naman, ok ba sa lasalle? makakaya ko kaya ang tuition dun? or ok na rin sa ust?

mahihirap ba ang exam para makapag-master's degree?

Recently, I've been also thinking of taking up MA nut im not sure yet because its been years since I last worked. I tried to establish a business kc but up to now wala pa din and since I have a daughter now, hindi na ko pwede mag pa easy. Naisip ko lang baka mag ka edge ako kahit papano if i go back to the corporate world if mag post grad education ako. PArang hindi na enough and bachelor's nowadays.

I'm deciding to take a post graduate diploma course muna sana. I saw at the DLSU site na meron silang ganun programs. More or less need 24 units for a DFE then 42 units MSFE.

Anyone taking the same diploma course or any diploma course at DLSU? How was it? Mahirap ba makapasok? And the schedules please if may idea kayo.

^ thanks po! sa ngayon naguguluhan na ako. sa bagay medyo matagal pa bago ako makapag-master's kasi kelangan ko at least 2 years work experience.

mga sis.. may question ako.. gusto ko kasi magmasters sa DLSU.. pano ba yung application dun? tumingin ako sa website nila eh, may mga forms dun, yung application form, letters of recommendation and yung sa personal statement of academic & career objectives, piniprint lang ba yun? o dapat dun na ko mismo sa school kumuha ng forms? sabi kasi sa website ilagay sa brown envelope, natatakot naman ako na may onting mali lang e madisqualify na agad yung application ko.. hehe.. balak ko mag-apply sa term 3 ng 2011-2012.. pwede naman yung diba? not required na term 1 talaga ko magstart? wala talaga ko idea sa ganito eh.. hehe!

Hello, I inquired the other sa process ng admission on Post Diploma program nila (its a masteral daw without thesis). Yes, the forms should be downloaded sa site. Upon completion, that is the time na you need to go to school to pass it. Don't worry, if may mali naman daw they won't accept it and you will be asked to complete or correct the requirements. Me too, I wan't to start 3rd term since hindi na din ako abot sa 2nd term and its ok lang daw.

To those who taking materal, any idea on what is the max allowable units? Gusto ko kc ma maximize yun time ko habang unemployed ako. And ano po ba usual schedules? Puro night classes ba and weekends? TIA!

Ang alam ko, wala naman talagang maximum allowable units, for as long as available yung subjects na kukunin mo, and no conflict sa schedule mo. Normally, pag sa graduate school ka na, during admission, either your department head or adviser will discuss a study plan for you. naka layout na dun kung ilang subjects ang kakayanin mo kunin per semester, para ma estimate mo na din kelan mo matatapos yung course. Most schedules are every night and weekends, kasi majority of grad students are either employed, self-employed, or businessmen. I'm speaking for the school where I came from ha, hindi ko lang alam if it applies to all.

i'm planning to take my masters kaso i'm having second thought,, kasi ndi ko naman talaga gusto yung natapos kung course(in fact i never worked...dakilang tambay ng ilang taon)...i'm turning 30 this year and planning to take up medicine next year....am i too late to start my medicine? naguguluhan kasi ako..parang walang dereksyon yung buhay ko. need ur opinion po.. TIA

Sa mga nakapag masters, mahirap ba pag sabayin kung may infant? I will give birth kasi this Nov 2011. Tapos I am planning to take my MBA next year pero naisip ko lang baka mahirapan ako since may newborn ako (1st baby pa). Or better yet next next year nalang para di rin kawawa si baby?

Hi sis.  I finished my MBA in Ateneo.  I've had classmates na mga moms, and they were able to finish naman.   If you have a kid, I would suggest sa Ateneo or LaSalle. Sa UP medyo mabigat ang workload (based on friends who took their MBA in UP).  However, depende rin naman kung anong curriculum ang tinitignan mo.  Sa UP kasi, more of finance ang thrust nya.  Sa DLSU, entrepreneurship (I think). Sa Ateneo, during my time, halo-halo, lol. :p

Ako rin kasi need ko lang ng masters para makapagturo sa dati kong school... wala na kasi silang prof ng masscomm eh..
