at tsaka how necessary ang laptop? gumagamit lang kasi ko ng company laptop. hehe. plan ko bumili ng sarili kung sobrang need sya since im gonna use it din naman hanggang sa matapos ko. pero kung di naman ganun kanecessary ayoko sana bumili since ako lang din ang nagpapaaral sa sarili ko..

it depends on your course and track. ask around. aside from your thesis (or culminating project for non-thesis track), you'll be using this for your quanti subject (if ever there is)

I'm taking up Technology Management in UP. Kaloka lang ang mag-masters, kailangan talaga ma-manage ng maayos ang time. Dati, hindi ako makagala pag weekends kasi may class ako ng Sabado. Pero ngayon, weekdays na classes ko.

Pero enjoy din maka-meet ng mga bagong friends.

^yey, congrats! about sa pagtutuloy sa PhD, it depends sa gusto mo mangyari sa buhay mo. LOL  its either your job calls for it or if you want to teach graduate students or progress more in the research field. you just need to have a valid reason, kasi usually, kasama sa interview yun when applying for a PhD degree (at least for universities I know). in my case, may mga friends ako na nagyayaya mag PhD as soon as we graduated from MA, I might consider applying for a scholarship abroad, but my plans are still very vague as of now. kailangan ko muna ipractice yung napag-aralan ko. haha

^yung boss ko kasi nagtuturo din sa school part time, niyayaya akong magturo na rin. pinagiisipan ko din. hehe. buti pa kayo magkakasama grumaduate masaya rin siguro kung sama sama pa rin hanggang pag PhD. hehe. yung nanay ko naman, mag-law na daw ako. good luck sa pagdecide natin sis!

hello mga sis. im planning to study again (mba) this year pero im contemplating pa kung sa ateneo or lasalle. dami nagsasabi na mas ok daw lasalle than ateneo because of the subjects. so medyo torn ako

i have a question pala. if say i apply for mba, ok lang ba na hindi i-declare na im working? i transferred to a another job kasi at wala pa ako 1 year sa new job ko. im not sure if i can get a good recommendation from my boss since bago din sya sa office. this is my 3rd company (im only 24) pero eto yung  pinakastable sa lahat. i just worry na baka maging factor to sa mba application ko. what do you think mga sis?

Hi everyone!

I'm wondering if somebody here is taking up their MBA in UP. I just passed the entranced exam and will take the proficiency exam a week from now. Would like to ask what exactly the proficiency exam would cover and is it essentially a "second exam" before i can get in to the MBA program?

Also, how much is the current tuition fee for UP MBA?

I'm taking up Master of Arts in Nursing.  Mahirap siya pagsabayin sa work. Dapat grad na ako this year kaso since I work in the hospital din kapag uuwi ka na pagod na pagod ka na... Mahirap na magfocus sa dapat mong gawing school work. Kelangan talaga ng tyagaan if you decide na mag MA while working

^^ ako din I'm taking my masters while working full time. Nung una goal ko pa sya tapusin in 3 years kasi yun daw yung minimum sa course ko at isa pa lang daw nakakagawa nun pero mahirap nga talaga. I just finished my 4th year (nag LOA kasi ako ng 1 year for work) and next sem 2 subjects tsaka thesis nalang. Crossing my fingers and looking forward to celebrating next year!
