^ako din nag apply ako tourist visa still employed. wag kang magreresign until hindi bumabalik yung passport mo na approved ang visa hehe. kasi the embassy might do a C.I. to check if you really are employed.

there are some candidates na disapproved kasi wala silang work, or ang company nila hindi pa stable, or yung iba naman (yung mga unsponsored) is insufficient funds to travel.

in my case i guess nakatulong yung sponsorship ng uncle ko dineclare kasi nila na sila ang bahala sa kin, the embassy asked for their bank account details. ako naman, hindi na ako pinagsubmit ng financial docs.

^my work has a minimum pay lang i was thinking baka un yung maging dahilan na posibble akong madeny kasi hindi majajustify ng other work ko yung pera ko... I have multiple accounts kase and consistent naman ang flows.. I only work para makalabas ng bahay.. Mataas pdn kaya chance ko? I have a lot of relatives din there pero ayoko na sana mang-abala pa for their documents..

^yeah for sponsorship the sponsors i think may babayaran pa sila sa government eh. try your luck sis malay mo through your financial documents ma approve ka. it's risky kaso if you have nothing to lose naman, ano naman ang Php5600 (visa fee)

^yeah its risky pero may worry pa ako na if madeny ako may nabasa ako na deny ndn kagad if magapply naman ako for US Visa. Waaa.

Australia maintains a hospitable foreign lawyer regulatory system consistent with the ‘Full Licensing' and ‘Limited Licensing' approaches advocated in the International Bar Association Statement of General Principles for the Establishment and Regulation of Foreign Lawyers. Foreign lawyers have a right to enter Australia and practise foreign law and international law without the need to gain admission to practise domestic law in Australia. Foreign lawyers have the option of registering to practise foreign law in Australia, or may practise on a fly-in, fly-out basis for an aggregate of 90 days in any 12 month period without registration. Foreign lawyers also have the option to enter into commercial association with local practitioners.

guys, need your help, i was single when i left the philippines and just got married very recently here in australia. the thing is, i never used my hubby's last name and kept my maiden name so i don't need to change my passport, licence, etc.. i'm applying for my citizenship next month and the only problem that i have is my NBI clearance.I will need to apply for one as a requirement but when i rang NBI office, i was informed that if i want my maiden name to appear in my clearance, i have to state my status as single. i was actually thinking of doing this since all my docs were in my maiden name. im just worried that if i use my married name, it would further complicate things. still, i'm unsure because i don't want the immigration department to think that i provided a misleading info because in my NBI clearance it says Im single when in fact i'm married already. i rang NBI twice na, and i was told that i can't put married in my status and retain my maiden name (second time around, kulet di ba? hehe!).i even told them that here, even if you're married you have the option of using your maiden name. pero di talaga ko makalusot! tsk..tsk... kung bakit naman kasi may civil status ang NBI clearance! by the way, anyone who had the same issue as mine? thanks

Hi, question po to those who are under subclass 175 visa. Just got my medical request, mahigpit ba sila pag me history ng asthma? Once in awhile kasi inaatake ako, pag maalikabok or sobrang lamig, pero manageable naman. I would like to disclose it, you think it would affect my application?

I don't remember providing NBI clearance when I applied for citizenship last June. If your licence info with the Roads Authority and passport says you're married then I think that should not be a problem with retaining your maiden name. Pwede din naman sa Pinas mag-retain ng maiden name eh.

Hi folks! Help lang about visa evidencing/label.

I have been granted a student visa - 574 postgraduate research for 4 and a half years. I performed the application online, as in I never went to the embassy at sa AU immigration website lang, and so I received the grant via email. Took me 2 1/2 weeks for everything.

It states sa grant ko that "You do not need a visa label in your passport to travel to, or enter Australia.  You can use our Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) system to check your visa details and conditions." So I printed lang the confirmation email and VEVO entitlement.

Now I called up the AU Embassy (sa Pinas) and got the answer that I don't need the label na. Similar to some business class and temporary stay applicants na multiple entry, sa net na lang ang checking. But when I emailed the VIA center, kailangan daw ng visa evidence/label/stamp.

This is confusing for me, especially since my flight is next week. I don't mind getting the label/evidence kaso baka di ko makuha agad yung passport, especially since 1 week daw yung processing

Did any of you guys experience this? Were you able to go out without any hassle na walang visa evidence/label as a student?

dika makakalabas ng bansa kapag walang visa stamp ang iyong passport, ang ginawa ko non nagmakaawa ako don sa clerk na kausap ko sa vIA center, tell mo nagsimula na ang class mo and maiiwan ka ng hehe at tawag ako ng tawag...ayun nakuha ko after 4days

Thanks! Tumawag ako sa VIA hotline again, I was told naman that I don't need the VISA label because electronic na lahat. And that the email I got, nagkamali lang yung agent because the person did not read through the subclass... Hay.

Sis, dapat pwede naman kahit married ka to use your maiden name.  Ako, umalis ako ng Phils na maiden name gamit ko.  Nagtataka nga yung sa CFO bakit daw married ako pero magkaiba kami surname ng husband ko.  So sabi ko, di ko gamit surname nya e.  Married women are not forced to use the husband's surname.  Decision natin yun if we want to use our husband's surname or not.  You have to tell them that there is no law that requires married women to use the surname of their husband.

You should indicate that you're married sa NBI clearance mo and use your maiden name.  Magkakaproblem ka kapag hindi match yung details like civil status etc.

thanks! sis, nakuha mo na ba yung citizenship mo? i rang phil embassy and okay lang daw, hindi ko na kailangan magpalit ng passport if i want to retain my maiden name and they also mentioned that i was right about sa NBI clearance, I can keep my maiden name, regardless if I'm married already, pasaway kasi iyong nakausap ko na taga-NBI, marunong pa sa kin eh! sarap kutusan! hehe!i just submitted report of marriage sa Philippine embassy sa Canberra, although the lady i spoke with said that it wasn't really necessary, pero ginawa ko na din. So you didn't submit NBI clearance? sabi kasi nung friend ko who applied last November lang need ko daw, I also read iyong website very recently lang kailangan nga... although akala ko din dati di ko na kailangan, nagbakasyon din ako sa Pinas last September lang, akala ko talaga hindi ko kailangan kaya hindi na ako nag-apply while I was still in Manila. Pero nag-apply na din ako para walang hassle and I included an authorisation letter for my dad to complete the application for me. I also stated that my maiden name must be used in my clearance as per my discussion with the philippine embassy. Also, sis, walang CIVIL STATUS sa Philippine passport saka Victorian Driver's Licence, kaya di nila malalaman kung married ka or single pa din!

@snow25: thanks sis! :)yun nga iyong sinabi ko sa intrimitidang nakausap ko sa NBI. Pinipilit na gamitin ko single,eh married na nga ako! sinabi ko din na ayokong gamitin na single dahil nga,hindi mag-match sa details ko, mas malaking problem yun pag nagkataon... eh ang kulit, ayaw talaga... jungaers nga eh!talagang super pilit na na hindi pwede, pero okay na, sinabi ko din sa letter of authorisation ko, kasi dad ko mag-asikaso eh, sinabi ko na kailangan yung maiden name ko gamitin kahit married na ko...

I am planning to apply for Skilled-regional sponsored visa subclass 475 or subclass 176.
How can i apply for regional sponsorship?
Need kasi na may parang acknowledgement na from the region na they will sponsor me.

Mga sis my tanong lang ako, yung Papa ko nasa Sydney, Australian citizen narin siya matagal na. By next year, sabi nya issponsor nya ko para makarating dun at makapagwork.

Madali ba makahanap ng work? BS Biology graduate ako, my experience ako as an environmental consultant, nakapagwork din ako sa call center. Ang gusto ko kasi makapagwork sa Sydney sa isang zoo o kahit parang katulad ng ocean park satin.
