Oh no! Hindi de facto yung naicheck ko sa student visa app ko. when my mom explained kasi de facto daw should be live-in.hay,is there any way to change the status?

^Sis, I think live-in nga.  Kasi pag binasa mo yung DIAC, it says living together for at least a year.  I just don't know how you can prove that -- baka kailangan lang may maipakita na same address kayo -- baka magagawan mo na lang ng paraan hehe... basta explore mo na lang yung DIAC, most of the answers are there.  When I was researching for our options, the DIAC officers referred me back to the website as well (mga useless hehe).

@ sis port80*, i've been into reading, OZ gov't links & forum. ang hirap din sa  skilled migration. big disappointment, a cousin cannot sponsor an applicant for independent skilled. pwede sa regional lang.

question lang baka may alam ka kung sakali. yes, ang aunt pwede mag sponsor sa applicant for independent skilled; what if, common-law aunt lang siya, pwede kaya?

question lang po, yung sister ko she is a CPA in pinas and just migrated in Sydney last week.

madali po ba makahanap ng work dyan ang mga CPAs? or they need to study din sa Aussie university in order to practice profession and get a job?

kasi i am also a CPA here in pinas and would want to apply for visas that would apply to me in case na sumunod ako sa kanya diyan.

Sis sorry, I've never looked into migration with a sponsor simply because we have no relatives here but a quick browse in the DIAC website shows that you can apply for SPONSORED SKILLED MIGRANT if you or your partner have relatives willing to sponsor you.  These relatives can be as follows:

Ano bang ibig sabihin sis ng common-law aunt?  If auntie ng partner mo (de facto kayo) ang sponsor, puede.  Pero kung yung auntie ang de facto partner, yun ang hindi ako sure.

Sis, I think it's easy for CPAs to get a job here, especially in Sydney and Melbourne.  Halos yung buong Finance department namin sa office dito nandito na lahat eh hehe   Pero mga 2-4 years din ang binuno nila starting from when they lodged their Independent Skilled Migration visas up until they found good jobs. 

Your qualification will be assessed when you put in your visa application.  That means you don't have to study again here.  However, if you want to practice being a CPA, you will have to have your licence accredited here.  I think my former officemates got good jobs but not necessarily ones that involve them practicing as CPAs.  I can ask them and give you more info.

^Sis, they don't need to pay a bond but they do have to get a sort of visa / nomination as well to be able to sponsor an overseas employee.  They also have a lot of obligations to the government and to the sponsored employee as enumerated here:

@ sis port80*, thank you for the effort. as aunt, i was referring to an aunt who was a live-in partner of my mom's brother. they used to have a de facto relationship but got separated and have one child who is into australian defense ministry now. but sad, this cousin cannot file for sponsorship.

anyway, we might as well focus on sub 175. with all the paper works and evidences, actually, ang hirap esp pag ang previous employers are nowhere to be found, or at the very least, if found, if they are willing to sign some dox since the separation was not really that amiable.

sis port80* i thought automatic yon na employer  mag sponsor para sa PR luckily sa case namin yng company pa mismo ni hubby  nagsabi  na sponsor nila kami for PR at kumuha pa ang company ng immigration lawyer malaking factor din na madami silang pinoy ang nasa company

swerte nga ni sis pamskie, dito yung  mga 457 pinauwi na hindi rin  sila na sponsoran for PR. nag cut down kasi ang NT sa 457.

yup sis ngyon ko nga nalaman na ganon pala even my hubby thought na automatic din ako pa nag sabi na hindi lahat ng company nag sponsor for PR dami kasi nilang pinoy sa company nila what happened kasi yong company nila sa pinas non kalaban yong company nila yng mga kasama nia ngyon sa company same din kasama din nia sa pinas parang pinirata sila lahat yng dati niang company halos lahat ng kasama nia don lumipat sa current company nia kaya hindi din sila nahirapan malaki din kasi pakinabang ng company sa kanila mga ausie kasi d naman tumatagal sa trabaho matagal na ang 3 months saka tamad din so in the long run makakatipid pa din ang company pag pinoy mga workers nila

sis port80* thank you so much, i will be waiting for your further feedbacks about that. para mag lodge na rin ako ng application. i am currently based here in the middle east and wanted to try my luck in Australia someday, kaso single ako kaya mahirap dahil mababa ang points na makukuha ko when it comes to migration.

Sis, sobrang totoo yan! Ang problema lang kasi sa mga ibang Pinoy ay hirap talaga mag-English, lalo yung mga skilled na hindi naman talaga nakatapos sa atin.
