Sa tingin ko mga thugs usually bogans or teenagers na ala magawa.

Sa Sydney katakot, dami ng muslims.

Anyways, dito sa suburb ko ok pa naman, kahit iwan house open all day, ala pumapasok.  Knock on wood.

Marami din nahuli nagtatanim ng marijuana sa bahay nila,  mga Vietnamese naman.  But, no worries...mas malala p rin Philippines.

Feeling ko, mas madalas pa i- report sa news ang namatay due to car crash..halos everyday ata meron.



Nanakawan na rin ako dito sa train,..iba iba na kasi tao dito.

prisma dito rin mga asians ang madalas gumawa ng kalokohan. mga viets din ang madalas mahuli dahil sa drugs  at ang car accident jusko day everyday may report din.

sis dito din sa Pinas nagkalat na sila.. dati naman d masyado. heard nga in one country na kapag nandun ang mga muslims they are not allowed to cover their faces for identity purposes, kasi sobrang dami na daw nila. i think it's in france ata..



question lang.. hindi ba nila pwedeng ideport ang mga asian na gumagawa ng kalokohan ng mabawasan naman sila ?

hi mga sis! hindi ba mahirap maghanap ng work sa Australia? My husband and I would like to try our luck there.

^Mahirap sis, especially if you're not a permanent resident.  Your best bet in getting a job you like is to find a company willing to sponsor you.  That would fall under the 457 visa.  Unfortunately, Immigration's goal is to cut down 457 visas by half by 2011.  They are not renewing any 457 visas for extension as well.

Since last year, immigration has been very, very strict about granting working / immigrant / PR visas.  The priority supposedly is for PR applications for workers nominated by their employers (those already here) but now Immigration has been inundated by such applications that the processing time has lengthened significantly from 1-2 months to 7-8 months.  That only means waaaay longer processing time for all other kinds of visas down the priority list.

^Oo sis.  Sad talaga.  Kami nga hirap na hirap din maghanap ng paraan paano magiging permanent resident.  Nawala kasi sa list of skills ang occupation namin eh we have just more than a year to go before our 457 visa expires tapos yun nga, di na sila nagre-renew ng 457 visas kasi gusto nga nilang magbawas. 

Anyway, finally ay pumayag ang employer namin to sponsor us for PR but they will have to relocate us to a regional branch.  Swerte na lang at maganda yung pagtatapunan sa amin   Our company got us an agent which we paid last September pa pero hanggang ngayon wala pa ring nangyayari.  To think that the 7-8 months processing is from the time your application is lodged with DIAC   So unless you have a lot of money to spare and do not mind waiting a very long time, Australia does not seem to be a very viable option these days.

I was hoping na mas madali diyan. di pala. hanap pa rin kami kung saan pwede lipat and hanap work.  we are currently here in Abu Dhabi. patapos na kasi project ni hubby dito. san kaya maganda? was thinking kasi katatapos [textspeak!] nga baha so baka maraming construction activities. ganun din pala mahirap kmuha ng visa.

Yun mga Viets dito, citizens na sila e...di na ma deport yun unless tnt sila.

^^Sis, register kayo sa workabroad.ph.  I still get sent emails about job openings from all over the world.  Ang maganda sa mga yun ay POEA-accredited lahat ng nagre-recruit dun at makakapili ka lang kung aling job opening ang gusto mong pag-forwardan nila ng resume mo.  That's where my hubby got the job here

^ sis , sa construction ba nag tra-trabaho asawa mo ? ang alam ko kasi in demand sila dito ngayon. check the aust. website check mo kung nasa Skilled Occupation List (SOL) kayo www.immi.gov.au hope that helps.

^Sis, kahit nasa SOL sila, unless they can get an employer to sponsor them a working visa, the immigrant visa will take easily 2 years because of Immigration's backlog.  Our agent has also told us, 457 visas which usually just took 2 months to process, now takes as long as 8 months to a year.

@piglet24, you can try independent state sponsorship kasi nasa priority din yun mga state sponsored. I have friends na within 2 months granted na agad yung visa kasi nagpa-state sponsorship. Though Mas mabilis sila kasi nandito as 457 visa pero sa tingin ko hindi aabutin ng 1 year kung state sponsored.

Depende din sa case yung sa 457 visa, kasi yung previous employer ko ilan na yung na-hire nila sa pinas since oct. Sunod sunod halos dumating. Mabilis lang na-process yung 457 visa nila.

sis ito ba yung general skilled migration visa? Hay nakakaiyak naman. gusto ko sana makasunod bf ko if ever macomplete na niya yung working experience sa phils. masyado kasi mahal pag sa student visa, tapos minsan sobrang higpit pa sa account na kahit yung ibang mayayaman di na aapprove kasi below maintaining balance na approved ng embassy.

^Yes sis.  Medyo na-confuse ako sa post mo -- sino ang nasa Oz na, ikaw or yung bf mo? 

Totoo yan, ang mahal ng student visa and they're cracking down on student visas as well.  Just in the past 2 weeks, 3 of our staff on student visas were sent home IMMEDIATELY for various reasons -- working beyond 20 hours / week, yung 1 nagkasakit so went on leave for 3 months, kahit may med. cert. siya from the Health Department here, 2 months lang daw out of a year yata puede siyang out of school.  Basta mga ganung reasons na halatang nitpicking lang.  Yung 1 nga naka-bridging visa na sila ng husband niya for PR tapos pinauwi pa rin. 

If one of you is already on a student visa, what you can do is declare the other as partner or spouse (dito legal kahit hindi kasal basta you have to prove de facto relationship) so you can both be here.  You can also both work for 20 hours / week, unlimited during school/uni holidays.  You can study here as well but if your course will be more than 3 months, you'll have to get your own student visa na rin.

Marami na ring nagbago sa student visa policies ngayon.  Dati yata pag nakatapos ka dito mag-aral, automatic na yun qualified ka for PR.  Starting last year hindi na.  Pag nakatapos ka, you'll have to find a work sponsor in the field of study that you finished.  After nun lang at saka ka puede mag-apply for PR.  So kawawa yung mga nag-invest ng money tapos hindi makakuha ng work or sponsor after studying.

^ako sis. actually papunta palang by friday. start na next week ng course ko sa TAFE sa melbourne, btw. grabe talagang hinahanapan na nila ng butas yung mga students just to cut down the population, to think na income generating din yung pagpasok ng mga student sa kanila. tsk!
tapos na confuse pa ko sa sinabi ng tita ko sana daw after ko mag aral eh may working visa na agad ako. diba kailangan uuwi muna dito bago iprocess yun?or pwede na din diyan na?

papano yung padedeclare ng de facto relationship?balak ko kasi sana habang nagwowork na siya sa phils, magaapply na siya for working para pwede na siya makasunod.

^Sis, tama yung sinabi ng tita mo.  Kasi yung student visa mo is just for studying.  You can't even work anymore if you're not enrolled or have finished your studies.  Preferably before you finish your course, you're already employed with a company that's willing to sponsor you so you only have to apply for a bridging visa until you get your PR or working visa (whichever the company will sponsor you for).  Otherwise, you'll have to go home within a certain amount of time after you finish.  Pag umuwi ka ng Pinas without any other visa aside from your student visa, wala ka ng way bumalik ulit dito.
