@edna_mode meron nuchal scan sa in my womb nakita ko nasa 3k plus lang.. Much cheaper kysa st. Lukes. . Di na din ako nag pa nuchal scan kasi on my 20th weeks nag pa CAS ako pati nuchal ni me-measure na din. Okay naman si baby less than 7mm un nakita ko. And normal naman. Pag high risk ata mas mataas.. Pag gisto mo talaga ipa test if may down syndrome si baby mo amiocentesis un daw ang accurate. Pero wag ka mag alala kung wala naman history sa family mo and husband mo may down syndrome...

Urinalysis
HBsAg
VDRL

thank God normal naman lahat ng results.

wala kong ginawang kahit anong lab tests during my 1st trimester.

aside from Amniocentesis, CVS or Chorionic Villus Sampling can also be done. CVS is usually performed between 11 weeks and 13 weeks of pregnancy... basta before the 15th week.

Amnio is after the 15th week.

HBsAg is for hepa B. Result will either be positive or negative. VDRL is for syphilis (STD).

I am not sure if nagooffer sila ng check-up/consultation dahil laboratory and diagnostics lang sila. If gusto mo makamura, get your check-ups/consultations done in OB clinics or public hospitals (normal price per consultation is 300-500) then have the required tests done in New World.

OB asked me to get the ff tests done before my next check up (would be my 14th week):
VDRL
HBsAg
HIV (as per OB, this is now required by DOH)
OGTT 75 g

Had them done at Clinica Manila, pina-add ko na din Urinalysis (P100) due to recurring UTI.
Total P1845

For OGTT, fasting ako 10 hours, water lang pwede.  They asked me anong time huling kain ko, tapos sinakto nila 10 hours bago ako kunan 1st extraction for OGTT. Just had to wait 20 minutes to meet the 10th hour mark. After nung initial extraction, may pinainom na glucose juice something about 300ml? After 1 hour, 2nd extraction, then after another hour yung final extraction.  Dapat talaga heavy meal yung huling kain, buti na lang din pwede pa din uminom water.  OGTT is around P700.  After 2-3 working days makukuha results (bukas pa yun). I'm on my 13th week.

first time mom here and I'm 42 yo.  22nd week ko ngayon at sa sunod na visit ko sa Sept. 1, nirecommend sa kin ng OB ko to take congenital abnormalities scan.  Suhi pa daw kasi si baby kaya next visit na gagawin.

ask ko lang pareho ba ang congenital abnormalities scan sa chromosomal abnormalities scan o nuchal test?

last 1 test HIV hindi kasi na cover dito sa office dhil wala sila na dala na need pirmahan para sa test. sayang...

Hello mga sis, not sure po kong out of topic pero saan and how much po ang vaccine nyo ng HEPA B? Sa OB ko po kasi 1.5k, di ako sure kung sakto lang yung singil nya or mahal. Thanks in advance!
