Best Primer for the eyes and face ( thread 4 )

^so if you use primer with shimmer, if you apply foundation hindi naman siya macocover ng foundation, especially if your foundation have heavy coverage? would it still give a luminous look?

^i haven't tried a face primer with shimmer... so i really can't say... as for the eye primer i have UDPP... sin (shimmer) & eden (matte)...

i'm now using Majolica Mjorca's Skin Lingerie Pore Cover. very nice coverage talagang visible na naha-hide yung pores, i've got big pores pa naman. plus tumatagal talaga yung make-up.

Mas gusto ko ang walang primer when using liquid foundies pero pag powder foundies, carry lang ang may primer. Pero over-all,walang masyadong effect sa face ko ang primer. Mas ok pa liquid foundies ko without one.

Ako din ayoko ng primer pag liquid foundie pero pag cream foundie need ko ng primer to be able to spread the product with ease.

For eye primer hands down, UDPP talaga ang best primer I've ever tried I have oily lids and with UDPP talaga buong day no problem ako.

For face I dont really use much primer, I use primer lang during events or other special occasion. Ang init kasi ng weather dito and as much as possible ayaw ko maglagay ng masyadong maraming products sa face ko for everyday use. I dont think I've found my hg for face primer though, I have the MAC prep+prime and Stila hydrating primer, they aren't bad but I believe there is something better out there. Hindi lang ako masyado nagtitingin since I dont really use it much anyway.

I'm a user of EH Proof 10 Eye Primer pero strictly for the lids lang kasi I have tried applying sa outer corner ng eyes ko to try to make a certain eyeliner from smudging sa outer corner pero pag inapply na yung primer sa under eyes, and outer corner, it becomes too obvious. Chalky, blotchy and hindi na nag beblend. Is it the same for other users here?

I've tried 3 eye shadow primers: elf mineral eye shadow primer, too faced eye shadow insurance, and UDPP.

I have extremely oily lids, kaya di rin ako makagamit ng cream shadows. The best primer for oily lids is UDPP. Yung elf kasi in 2 hours nag crease na agad saken, same thing with Too faced. Yung Too faced kasi may moisturizing effect siya (Aloe? Vitamin E? Really not sure what specific component). I used the Too faced kapag sa lower lash line para di mag bleed agad yung eyeliner ko, pero sa lids I swear by UDPP talaga.

For face primers, 1 pa lang na-try ko. Yung sa Revlon. Waste of money. I guess it's not for my skin type. I will try the Majolica Majorca or L'Oreal next.

I also tried this Elf Mineral infused. Ganda ng consistency parang smashbox! kaso hindi nakakatulong masydo sa oil. But it helps the foundation spread more easily and naayos nya yung dry flakes

i just got myself laura mercier secret finish matifying face primer. di ko pa na roadtest mabuti kasi twice ko pa lang sya nagamit and i used it pa with foundations na di ako masyado hiyang. i used it with a cream stick foundation from mac, ok lang pero kasi nasa aircon ako buong araw and light lang yung pag apply ko so i didnt notice any difference tapos last night i used it with revlon photoready, ayun, feeling ko ang oily oily ko pero sabi ng mga officemates ko di naman daw. though im not sure if its because of photoready itself or dahil di nagwuwork yung mattifying properties nung primer.  try ko sya today with my colorstay tapos tomorrow with my parure extreme, sana good match.

sa eyes, hands down, UDPP ako. though pag naubos mga back ups ko nito i might buy the one from nars since marami good feedback. i also want to try din the urban decay cream eyshadows kasi they remind me of mac paint na nice din gamiting eyeshadow base. yung elf, creased on me after 2 hours. yung nyx na eye primers sa pot, same din. creases after 2 hours. though im also interested dun sa hd eyeshadow primer nila kasi marami good reviews din. 

yung loreal na primer na nasa pot its nice if you are trying to have a smooth base and to reduce siguro pores and lines pero in my experience, di sya ganun ka outstanding sa pagretain ng hold ng foundie, well sa experience ko rin lang naman.

yung majoica majorca, nice sya if you pair it with the pore cover powder foundation. i seldomly use it na kasi ngayon , medyo off kasi yung shade ng powder sakin but its good.

try ko maghanap ng milk of magnesia at maganda daw mattifyng primer yun.  kaso not sure if i can buy that in its pure form sa mga drugstores or yung maalox na lang itself.

^naku sis wag mu na try yun maalox, wala kasi dito iba, hanap ka nalang sa ibang bansa ng pure milk of magnesia if ever. yung maalox kasi talagang nagtighten pores ko (temporarily of course) at nagmattify talaga kaso nag rough naman skin ko, hanggang ngayon may traces of roughnes padin na nasa healing process, a year ago na yata yun
