Authentic VS Replica Bags

Hi! I've been eyeing too many branded bags lately but I don't have the money since student pa lang ako. If I have the money, I'd go for authentic na syempre, pero, what do you girls think of purchasing replica bags, like Balenciaga's na ang cute talaga ng style pero I can't afford?

If you can't afford it, don't buy it. don't buy those fake ones either. Fake is fake. i would rather buy something without a tag or name at all than buy fake bags. It's just a lie... plus ask yourself why do you bother with the brand anyway... there are a lot of cheaper bags out there with pretty good styles. plus you're in college...s o no one really expects you to have super high end stuff. People will just either suspect you have a sugar daddy or you're spending too much of your mom and dad's money... so doesn't really do anything for your woimanly pride. wait till you can find a good job that pays then buy whatever you can afford. it will feel soooo good.

^sometimes it's the style or design that you want, and not the brand...there are bags with similar design as that of Bale, but are not passed off as Bale or don't call themselves as knock-offs they have their own brands, I think these are ok

san nabibili yan? hehe.. i lovethose stuff... maganda material,  lining ng bag pero hindi mahal.

^ i saw it on instagram, the bags are still branded as celine, hermes, balenciaga. i don't know if it is really the same materials but they are still expensive and still copies since it came it reproduced

^the more reason you shouldn't buy. They are profiting from a business that isn't their own.

Ako, tempt na tempt na ko sa mga bags nakikita ko sa IG and sa FB.  The only thing na nagpipigil sakin is hindi ako sure authentic ba talaga or hindi.  I'm eyeing few Coach bags and a Celine one.  Kaso, baka ma-fake ako.  May trusted sellers ba kayo sisses, pa-pm naman.

yes sis when in doubt dont buy nalang talaga.  mahirap na ma fake.  There was one time na I bought this bag from a friend who came from europe and parang I still have doubts on the bag.  She says it is authentic but who really knows?  So to save ourselves from the hassle and doubts just buy from the stores directly. Diba? hehe

of course mas maganda kung authentic talaga ang bags, matibay pa!

pero kung talagang gusto  mo yung design ng replica then why not?
aware ka naman siguro sa disadvantages ng replica

There's this nondescript shop at the top level of New Glorietta (near CD-R King?) that sells second hand genuine LVs for 20-50k. Okay pa naman yung mga condition, may slight wear and tear na rin yung iba sa handles and joints, pero it looks semi-new naman. If you girls have the budget and aren't "choosy", FYI.

not sure if this is the right thread to ask but anybody here who has bought a bag from penderie? authentic ba talaga bags nila? and how are the prices? thinking of checking out their store but takot baka fake.

nowadays marami ng available na 2nd hand bags pero ingat pa din sa mga fake.

if i have the budget i will go for the brand new if budgeted 2nd hand. all authentic ofcourse.

Sa akin lang, I don't trust resellers talaga. Nakikita ko kasi minsan sa IG yung kinukuha na image eh rip off lang din sa mga original websites. If you can afford naman to buy sa original store mas better yun. Maybe mas mahal pero at least sigurado ka na original binili mo kesa naman napapaisip ka kung original ba or fake nabili mo sa reseller. If may chance ka naman mag abroad and keri mo bumili eh di sa abroad nalang bumili.

^ tama meron naman branded bags na di naman sobra makabutas ng bulsa. The brands you mentioned has wide choices of fashionable and tasteful bags. Pag meron na extra or may ipon na talaga specifically to more expensive bags then bili nalang original

^^true, marami pa ibang brands na maganda pero d sobrang mahal. Mahal pa nga yan nasa list mo sis may mas mura pa gaya ng lacoste at longchamp na of course pinipirata pa rin.



Ngayon na panahon ng bigayan ng regalo, naglipana ang mga nagreregalo ng replica bags. Kung yun ang tingin nila na maganda e d ok lang naman. Gamit lang naman yan, plus minsan mas masakit pa sa mata magbasa ng harsh posts ng mga naka-afford bumili ng genuine  kaysa sa sakit sa mata na  makakita ng may bitbit na fake bag.

I love watching bag collection videos on Youtube. There's this one lady who has a vid of her replica Louis Vuitton bags. Nakakaloka, but at least aminado siya na replicas yong kanya. And the funny thing is, sa comments ang dami nagtatanong kung sino supplier or san binili yong replica bags. Sa US din yata kasi rampant and replicas ng high end bags. 

Dream ko din to own a designer bag/bags in the future.  I can't afford but will never patronize replicas. Right now I'm saving up for Zara City bag, dupe siya ng Prada Saffiano Luxe tote which I will never be able to afford unless makapangasawa ng mayaman hehe.
