Authentic VS Replica Bags

I own both. Sa mga 1:1 mirror replicas,wala na talaga halos difference physically.Difference na lang is price and hindi ko mare-register yung bag online obviously.I'm talking about Chloe here, not sure about other brands kung may ganun din (may unique ID sila)na I have to register online.I buy mine mostly from Saks and Neiman Marcus and I took a chance with a China seller for the replica . Price-wise the replica is 200 USD and the original costs close to 2k USD. So I'm not going to complain

I've travelled with both, just recently to Manila via Singapore-Aus and back (na bawal din fakes), I had on the authentic Chloe and I checked in the replica (inside my luggage).Wala naman kaso akong narinig na extreme case na nadeport dahil replica ang bag.Supposedly bawal din dito sa Aussie pero andami ko na ring nakitaan ng very bad fakes dito.Basta siguro wag lang bultuhan hindi naman bawal.

Andami naka LV sa Manila and natatawa na lang ako sa isip ko, how many kaya ang orig at how many ang replicas? Kasi hindi ko na talaga ma-distinguish lalo pag Damier Ebene/Azur,Neverfull at Speedy type LV bags.AS in NAGLIPANA. I stayed at Eastwood City and nag-tiyangge sila dun may LV din naka shrink wrap and may sign sila na "we accept major CCs" .Iba talaga ang hatak ng LV.

Go for authentic, nakakahiya naman kapag nabuking ka na fake dala mo.

Yun replica, dun na lang sa mga taong wannabes or rather "wanna haves".

Parang jewelries, diamonds or swarovski or pwet ng baso. Kung ano ma afford mo at masaya ka. Go for it.

I have friends na mayaman, naka rolex na gold pero fake chanel niya. Di nila sinasabi but i can tell.
I've met a parent sa school, naka fake rolex, pero naka LV. Cant tell if fake ang LV. Sobrang nice copy if fake.

Yun yaya ng anak ko, naka fake longchamp, fake rolex. tee hee!.

Yun mga replica bags, i buy these para pang gift sa mga teachers, secretaries, bank tellers/managers. For myself di ako gumagamit. Hindi na bale nike bags or lacoste or kipling lang ako for the day. Basta orig. yun mga LV, burberry, prada, chanel,  miu miu, gucci, RL, ferragamo ko, nakatago lang sa cabinet. Ang bigat kasi. Puro grocery, school, mall lang lakad ko everyday. naku, for me yata depende at totoong nasa nagdadala talaga yan. may friend ako back in college, anak sya ng politician..designer bags talaga..  halos every month kung magpalit at ultimo mga pouches, wallets nya prada or chanel, then nalaman ko na inoorder lang pala nya yung bag somewhere so in short - fake. pero super hindi talaga halata, pano ba naman mahahalata eh ang ganda nya (matching her bags with cars, gadgets and accessories pa)  tapos yung officemate ko na saksakan ng itim  na  literal pinag ipunan pa nya yung speedy 35 nya. eh hindi mo talaga mapagkakamalan na kaya nyang bumili ng LV.

I've nothing against sa mga sisses natin na ayaw ng mga replica. for me lang, kung ako kirarang bata mas uunahin ko na siguro magpaputi kesa bumili ng original na LV. kaya nasa nagdadala lang yan talaga.. i dont see any point of buying such luxuries kung wala ka naman nung mga essential. para ka lang mas social climber tignan. tipong naka-LV ka nga, eh nagjijeep at tricycle ka naman... eh di sana mas nauna na lang nyang pinag ipunan yung koche.  o kaya naka balenciaga ka eh ang kaso duling or bungal ka... walang sense eh

sis 7teenth, orig, fake or 2nd hand man kahit ano pa yan, make sure na keri mo ang beauty at over-all get up mo.

I can't help but not comment pero.. may problema ba tayo sa maiitim, bungal at duling?

For  TS: I prefer Authentic. Doesn't matter what you look like as long as what you bought is quality, not a knock off and makes you happy.

For  TS: I prefer Authentic. Doesn't matter what you look like as long as what you bought is quality, not a knock off and makes you happy.

Kapag maitim, bungal or duling walang karapatan to own authetic bags even if they work hard for it and they can afford it.  Kapag maganda keri lang  peke... Kasi maganda naman sila *sarcasm*

Ang sakin lang huwag nating gawin basis ang ganda ng tao para bumili ng authentic. If you worked hard for your money, d nakaw, by all means reward yourself. Mamatay sa inggit ang maganda pero d naman afford.

I think the issue here is ïf you have oodles of money and you've covered all the bases-you own a house,your own transpo,your kids' school fees are no issue and you're able to feed the family 3 square meals a day ANd have money in the bank-would you buy the real thing VS a replica? True naman kasi minsan nagiging basehan ng first impression natin what you wear outside your home.Hindi naman mapipigilan ng mga tao yan.

Hindi ako naniniwala na "investment" ang isang piraso ng leather. A bag is a bag.A real investment to me is owning a business and not being an employee anymore and maging reknowned in the economic sector like the Zobel Ayalas or Lopezes, to name a few. Wala naman issue kung authentic or replica unless gusto mong ibenta after a while kasi nakasawaan mo na-but then, there's a market for both "good"replicas and authentic bags, even in preloved condition.

I have a problem nga with "mukhang tunay" based sa buong impression sa tao. To me it should not matter. Huwag gawing justification yung impression sa tao to judge who "should" have an authetic bag.

Kaso ginagawang sukatan,yung ibang tao, not even oneself. Dahil hindi kagandahan yung tao or di pasok sa idea natin ng maganda,sasabihin na di bagay so therefore parang sayang lang ang pera.

On the other side of the coin, kapag maganda ka, justifiable na replica na lang kasi mukhang orig.

Sa madaling salita, we judge people if they should buy authetic or fake based on their physical appearances. Parang may mali sa ganun.

hehe Recently nakakita lang ako ng "imitation" ng mga designer bags. Nagandahan ako sa kanila kaya parang gusto ko bumili kaso ba naman, mga LV, Tory Burch, MK at Ferragamo yung mga nakita ko. As in kitang-kita ang mga tatak nila. Knowing na near Quiapo-Divisoria area lang ako, magmumukha akong "wannabe" carrying those bags. hehe..

I just found them pretty to look at kaya parang na-tempt ako bumili. Pero mas umandar ang pagiging mahiyain ko at baka mapagkamalan pa ako na TH kaya tama na ako sa bag na nabili ko sa dept. store. hehe.

^i agree iba ang branded at authentic! Dati nung wala pa kong pera pag na divisoria ko hindi ko alam kung anong bibilhin ko sa dami ng bags.. Kaso after 3 months madali sila masira, hindi ako umaalis ng divi pag wala akong bags mga 3 siguro pero nung 1st time ko nakabili ng authentic bag, Longchamp and costs 2500 (pinabili ko sa friend ko na Fa) don na ko nagstart mag invest sa bags na authentic. 3years ago na yung bag na yan pero nagagamit ko pa din until now.

My personal view is: i'd rather use Secosana or other cheap local brands than use replicas of designer bags. Pag hindi pa afford mag designer bags, wag na ipilit.

Nung nasa hs/college ako, syempre wala pang budget so kung ano lang makitang cute/nice bag sa department store or sa mall or tiangge. Paminsan-minsan, naaambunan ng NineWest, Kipling, etc pag me relatives na galing states.

Nung nagkawork na, tumaas na din standards and budget ko, and eventually, nagkaron na din ng designer bags. Kebs ko kung tingin ng iba e hindi bagay ang designer bag sa akin kasi di ako maporma, kulang sa ganda or whatever. Ang importante sa akin is alam ko na authentic ang dala ko at masaya ako sa bag ko. Mahal, pero siguradong matibay naman. I pay for quality and not just for the name.
