Authentic VS Replica Bags

I agree, na nasa nagdadala yan. I don't buy authentic, uber expensive bags. Mga orig bags ko puro bigay lang or pasalubong from US (mostly coach, nine west or marc jacobs). Pati bags ng mom ko (na naipamana sa akin) puro pasalubong lang din. I bought mango bags before nung nasa Bahrain ako and some from nine west pero sale. Ngayon di na ako namimili.

Ang sa akin naman, I don't like to buy 2nd hand (sensya na). Unless ipamana sa akin or galing sa kakilala pero hanggat maaari, ayoko ng 2nd hand masabi lang na may orig LV ako or Chanel. I know my friends will not believe it din naman. They know that I don't buy expensive bags kaya pag nakitaan ako ng may bonggang bag, nagtataka sila. May iba kasi akong priorities (di kagaya nila... lol).

Ooops, btw, di ko nasagot, for me mas maganda sana orig bags kahit hindi branded than replica, but then, nasa sayo rin yun. If you think carry mo magdala ng replica then go. Pero kung kagaya ko na alam ng lahat na I wouldn't spend 60k for LV tapos nakitaan ako may hawak na LV, automatic iisipin nila fake ang bag ko. I don't like that. Mag secosana na lang ako na maganda ang dating than carry a fake bag, di ba? di ako pa-sosy e. hehe...

authentic or replica? syempre authentic if i have the money... but i don't go for uber expensive bags... nagcocommute pa ako eh. it's not practical for everyday use. about replica naman ayoko ng peke, mas gusto ko pa bumili ng cute na bag sa egg o kaya kahit anong brand kaysa mag replica... sa bags kasi tinitignan ko lang if inner lining is waterproof and syempre the color and design.

Authentic only.. Quality assured dapat.. Yes its expensive but it last a long time. Pwedeng ipamana. Unlike fakes, in months of continued usage, sira n.

when it comes to fashion, i believe in quantity over quality! haha but i don't like replica bags. they get destroyed too easily. yung affordable brands will do na i have a few authentic bags though

If you can't afford the authentic ones, then don't settle for replicas. There are still durable and affordable alternatives of not so known brands which are better than the replicas. Even if the replica says it's triple A blah blah. IT'S STILL FAKE. It looks like one is trying to be 'IN', and that is uncool.

If you really want authentic designer bags, save for it.

Like Secosana, they have monogram design na.
Gusto ko sana bumili ng cheap nice sturdy bags lang
(around 2k+ like Celine, CMG, Michaela, 4k like Ninewest, LizC, etc)

Minsan whenever I see too many Replicas, nawawalan na ako ng gana e
sa brand na un like LV, MK, Coach, unless meron silang design na wala pang replica.

Sis may mga bags naman na you can purchase at a cheaper price, own brand, own style. Never opt to have knock-offs. Just my two cents.

I would never buy knock-offs/replica items. I think it's for the social climbers. Sorry. If you can't afford the original, edi buy na lang ng ibang brand na can afford mo. Kesa naman magtry hard ka na bumili pa ng replica.


Para sakin kasi, bakit ka bibili ng fake na LV kung ayaw mong mapansin ng tao na naka LV ka. Syempre papansinin yan ng mga kakilala mo and kung malas malasin ka, mapuna nila na fake yan, edi mas nakakahiya. Hahaha

Does replica necessarily mean the fake counterpart of an item? Hindi ba pwedeng 'almost magkatulad?'

I have a Cambridge satchel na red. I saw someone na halos katulad ng bag ko ang dala pero puti yung sa kanya at mas maliit. I asked her where she got it--sa forever 21 daw! Heheh

Nung tinitigan ko, hindi nga naman kasing pulido ng cambridge satchel ko yung kanya and it's not exactly the same. Halos magkatulad lang.

Obviously fakes have the logos blasted across the bag, but replicas can also mean that a bag is similar in style. For example the neverfull design is not exactly unique, there are tons of bags out there that have a similar design. Would that be considered a replica?

I bought a suede bag from HK whose style is similar to the Givenchy Nightingale, it doesn't have a Givenchy logo though and comes with a body strap too. It's a replica but not a fake.

Thanks sis! Now I know, Ok lang naman pala bumili ng replica, meaning same style lang. Sa onti ba naman din kasi ng pwedeng style ng bag di ba, di naman talaga maiiwasan na may mabibili kang pareho talaga, minus the logo/branding na lang kung di naman original.

yup, kung designs lang, I agree, maraming pareho that are not supposed to be knock-offs, yung Speedy din ang daming kapareho di ba, saka yung satchel.

iba rin yung bibili ka ng knock-off, na alam mong knock-off but trying to pass it off as orig (yung pinapabongga mo), hoping others won't notice
