What's wrong with being clingy? I think it just shows your partner's affectionate side, and we have to respect that.

Haha! Ako pala TS nito.. Masasabi ko lang clingy or not kung magloloko si partner magloloko yan! Haha! #bitter

Naloka ko dun sa statement ko 3-4yrs ago when i said kilala ko si bf and di magagawang magcheat.. Ayun manloloko din haha! Pero im over it naman na.. 😁 sa next bf hindi na ko clingy.. Kasi nakakapagod din yung ganun not only for your partner but for yourself na din.. If u cant trust your partner trust na lang si God.. Everything happens for a reason naman.. 😊

I honestly hate clingy/needy ladies. Ayoko ng feeling na parang hindi siya mabubuhay pag wala yung partner niya sa buhay niya.

That's why I preach Ne-Yo's Miss Independent. Iba pag ganun eh.

I believe na mas turn-on saken yung confident woman, yung she can handle herself and not one who asks for assurance/approval from men all the time. Parang walang backbone eh.

This is just my opinion ha.

Hindi ko masasagot 'yan kasi hindi ako intimidated sa independent women kasi eh. Hahaha.

Advocate pa ko nun. Iba pag kaya mong magisa at di ka umaasa na may darating to complete you.

Here's a good read para dun sa mga needy people:

You've seen the movie. You know the scene. Jerry Maguire, played by Tom Cruise (prior to his Oprah couch surfing days), bursts into the room right on cue to save the male species from the grip of death by the insults of women. While the scene is certainly romantic and inspiring, it is also responsible for leading many to endorse an unhealthy relationship disposition. Jerry falsely leads us all to believe that another person can "complete us", and though that thought does send a warm and fuzzy sensation through our soul - to be "completed" by another - it is the cause of much relationship dissatisfaction.

This faulty manner of thinking generally starts when, out of an inner emptiness, we seek out another to "complete" us, and when we find this person, they become our world. It sounds nice, right? Well, it usually is, right up until there is a moment of difference, a moment when suddenly you don't complete me anymore because I did that or saw that differently than you. The unraveling begins with the discovery of differences that are not encouraging differences, but points of tension that create wounds. These wounds fester for years, if allowed, never really healing properly as the seeds of resentment have been sown and sprouted saplings of hate and bitterness through the open sore.

The formula of relationship is not 1/2 half person + 1/2 half person = 1. No one should "complete" you. You are a complete being, made in the image of God. You are made for relationship, not made by having relationships. Relationships are more like 1 whole person + 1 whole person = 1 healthy relationship. So, to the unattached, do not go looking for another half; start looking to become whole. To those considering becoming permanently attached, discover your relationship equation before making that commitment.  And to the attached who are finding that they their relationship is composed of halves, there is still hope.

So it's perfectly fine to ask how your guy is doing or catch up once in a while, pero wag overly clingy at needy. Nakakasakal yun. :P

Yes. Pero you need to know how to ask, better na yayain mo siya kasama ang isang friend mo or group of friends. Sad to say, marami sa amen (I'm referring to us guys) na assuming - na porket nagask out ka, eh ibig sabihin gustong gusto mo na siya.

If you know the person really well, I don't see anything wrong with bluntly asking him out, pero pag di kayo close, ask him out but tell him na you're with friends.

Oh and don't sound like you're always available to go out. Maganda rin 'yung napapaisip kame. :)

Based on my experience its really hard that a girl is clingy. Nakakasakal kasi yung ex ko very clingy may time pagaalis magvacation ako with my family nagagalit siya sa akin kasi aalis nanaman daw ako na parang pinapalabas na wala akong time for her but we go out and meet 3 times a week sa weekend pa the whole day. Time yung problem at away namin. I really had a hard time pag magrerequest ako ng time for myself/friends sasabihin niya next week nalang tayo magmeet. Even if i was just requesting for 1 saturday/friday night, medyo extremes yung sinasagot niya. So nagtampo friends ko pero ok lang sa kanila but naging distant na ako with my friends.

I think guys need some time for themselves kahit konti this is just my opinion dahil naexperience ko first hand  :)

^Pero bakit pag independent and confident ang girl naiintimidate ang guys?

Magkaiba kase ang independent and confident woman who is still nice and approachable, as compared to an independent and confident woman who is an airhead. Minsan, some women tend to have this aura na "i don't need anyone in my life" so they can show to the world that they're confident. While men in general wants to needed. If you have that vibe na hindi mo naman kelangan ng lalaki sa buhay, men will really back off.

Some women, on the other hand, are confident and independent in a womanly way. They do their thing on their own, but they're still charming and humble.

Also, i believe na if you're a successful, modern, independent woman, your man will be proud of you, instead of intimated. Gusto ng mga lalaki yung pag nakita ng ibang tao na kasama ka nila, sasabihin nila na swerte ni guy for having you. In short, gusto nila yung babaeng maipagmamalaki talaga nila. Sadly, some women who are achievers tend to emasculate their partners. Dun na nagkakaron ng problem.

If hindi ka maligawan ng guy just because you're confident and independent, and he's intimated in whatever way kahit wala ka naman ginagawang masama or hindi ka naman mayabang, that can mean the guy doesn't like you enough to risk it. Yun naman yung mga lalaking hindi din secured on their own.

Personally, I don't want a clingy partner. But if I have one, I will communicate it to him/her.
Being clingy may lead to other serious issues in the future, especially when not resolved on the early goings of the relationship.
I will tell him/her that I don't feel good about him/her being clingy. And I expect she would understand and do something about it.
He/She would not want to be tagged as an immature lady/guy, or he/she would?

Communicate. Set a borderline. If she/he does not respond well. Leave her/him.
