^Best to shop sa Chanel boutique sa Heathrow Airport (T3 if flying out of Heathrow). Not sure lang how much tax refund sa Chanel boutiques sa London pero sure ako meron.

^Sis nagpa-replace ako ng hardware na natanggal. Sa HK Chanel, umabot ng P10K (peso equivalent) pero alam ko refurbishing mas mura like magpapalinis ka lang ng leather or magpapaayos ng loose stitch.

^I believe it would be cheaper to have it cleaned/refurbished here but keep in mind lang sis na if you decide to have it refurbished by Chanel sometime in the future, they won't touch your bag if you had it cleaned/refurbished by someone else initially. Yan and sabi sa akin ng Chanel SA ko but nagtataka aka how they would find out. Maybe they have a way of checking or she may have just said that so I would give them my business if I decide to avail of their services.

hello! i posted this in another thread but thought i would also post it here to get the opinion of chanel experts.

so i've been saving up for my first chanel sana, and malapit ko na ma-reach yung goal. i've been imagining the day i will buy it this december when we return to the US.

kaso lang kaka-reserach ko, i found out that chanel bags are lined with foam and cardboard din pala. i must say i am disappointed.

so medyo na-gulat ako. akala ko pure leather ang chanel, hindi pala? i guess impossible to construct a bag with pure leather?

^^Chanel bags are lined in leather, the cardboard and foam gives the bag it's structure and that is covered in leather. Without the cardboard inside the bag won't have any structure and will just puddle up in heap (think balenciaga city bags). Any structured bag will have some material inside to provide structure and then covered in leather.

^^^^Despite knowing that Chanel bags are partly made of cardboard and foam, I still love their classic flaps and some of their totes (GST and Timeless tote). They do indeed help a bag keeps its structure.

Oo and ganun naman talaga.  Mas gusto ko din ng bag na may structure kasi hirap mag hanap sa mga Givenchy ng gamit.  Nagmumuka din luma agad ang leather.

Most seasonal flap bags are soft. Walang cardboard.

what do you girls think about the woc? may cardboard feeling ba? do you think it's a good buy for the price? been watching youtube reviews and it seems small but versatile. thanks for you input!

Yung Rock in Rome I think walang cardboard.

^woc is versatile kasi pwede siya for everyday if di ka madami magdala at pang semi-formal to formal. Pwede mo din siyang gamitin with a tote. Pagnagtra-travel ako, dun ko nilalagay passport, boarding pass, cellphone, some cash and credit cards para easy access. May dala din akong tote kung saan nakalagay ibang stuff ko.

I have the coco soft flap and rock in rome (caviar) flap. Both walang cardboard and I prefer the coco soft. The rock in rome flap is a good everyday bag coz its not as stiff as the classic flap

Kakakuha ko lang ng coco handle and gamit ko siya for 2 straight days na.

^Sis medium size yung meron ako and maraming malagay parang jumbo flap pero mas gusto ko small kasi di na ako nagdadala ng maraming stuff.
