Share ko lang to those who are planning to buy a Chanel classic flap, le boy or GST. My SA confirmed na magtataas Chanel prices sa Europe by at least 20% starting April 8, 2015.

Ang gulo nila! Diba kaka price cut lang ng Chanel sa HK because of the weak euro? Lol

Prices ng Chanel in China kasama HK, South Korea and other Asian countries (not sure about Japan though) bababa prices in line daw with Chanel's policy of aligning  their prices worldwide. Ito din ang nabanggit ng mga members ng tPF. Ang laki kasi ng price difference ng Chanel sa China and Europe kaya daming Chinese pumupuntang Europe to purchase Chanel lalo na now na mababa ang euro.

Firends ko who are based in HK confirmed din na bumaba ang Chanel sa HK pero mas cheaper pa rin sa Europe although male-lessen yung price difference.

That's good to know. I hope talaga they align their prices worldwide esp here in Asia so we don't need to go to Europe just to buy a bag. I will be traveling to Japan next week, I'll check if the they have a price cut too

chanel won't decrease prices, they will increase the european prices while asian & us prices will remain the same i'm not sure though when this will take effect.... hopefully not soon!

^they just had a price cut in HK and Shanghai. Had my friend buy a bag for me in HK. Ang haba raw ng pila

^whoa really?? good news! my sa in bg told me no price increase usa/asia and price increase in europe. to even out the prices...

how are the new prices now? closer to paris?

The ones from HK and China, halos 20% cheaper yung classic flap bag. Pwedeng pwede but sold out talaga siya. I received an email from my SA and asked my friend to go right away when the stores opened. In the middle of the day, some people in the queue were turned away na when the classic flaps where soldout. Ubusan and it was crazy daw!

The lines are weird, kasi the reduced prices are fairly permanent (until the next price increase).  I hope by May the furor has died down, when I go to HK.

Now the question is, Jumbo Caviar or Old Medium Boy?  Or both? Hehe

^Both! Hahaha I still have to buy a Boy bag though. Lola bought it in white and pink. I'm liking it na.

i love my new medium boy... so much lighter than my jumbo caviar, but prob bec its the calfskin version.... but any bag is a winner, both = jackpot

^^^My sentiments exactly! Kausap ko friend ko the other day na based in HK and mga officemates daw niya yung iba madami ng Chanel bags nakipila pa eh for the long-term naman ang price reduction in Asia.

Sis get both The classic jumbo will never go out of style while edgy and fun any dating ng boy. I saw someone at Healthy Options wearing an old medium boy and any ganda niya kaya I decided to get one as well.

Foxymom, the chanel jumbo flap is now priced at 38000hkd. Medium flap at 34000hkd.

This is good news, at least you dont need to go to Europe to buy a chanel

Around 20k to 28k din the clutch wallet.  Wala naman lowered price in HK I was just there.

^thats weird coz last dec, my mom bought a chanel flap medium for 43000hkd. Just this March it was priced at 34000hkd na lang so nakabili ako. The price cut is just for selected bags but not for all styles.

3950 euros less 12%tax rebate= approx 167t pesos

That's correct sis m_lim, after tax refund, it's still cheaper in Europe but at least very small diff na lang compared to HK
