I love phi phi!and yes can get too crowded, better to go to Phi Phi via Krabi than Phuket para less people, i went there just last July, off peak so not as crowded..

kami naman when we went to phi phi.. galing kami ng phuket. maganda din ang phuket. pero for me, i still find our beaches.. boracay and palawan better than phuket and phi phi.

go sis to bangkoK, tpaos from there pwede ka na mag phuket para sa phi phi island.. pero not much there actually. maganda pa ang palawan natin e. hehe.

kami naman nung nagpunta kami dyan, nag fly kami to singapore. then from singapore, nag phuket. then phuket to bangkok, then bangkok to manila. all in all parang 9k lang ang airfare sa dami ng eroplanong nasakyan namin hehe.

^Sis it depends, if speedboat I think 45min to 1hr.  Pero if you plan to take the ferry it's 2hrs.

There's two schedules from Phuket to Phi Phi and vice versa:
Phuket to PhiPhi - 8:30-10:30 / 1:30-3:30 (departure/arrival timing)
PhiPhi to Phuke - I have to check this...but I believe there's one morning and another afternoon sched.

the Ferry fare is 550 Baht/person (one way only)

Drop point at Phi Phi is at Tonsai Pier.  So if you are planning to stay in Phi Phi make sure your accommodation is nearby or arrange a transpo to your hotel.

Kami kasi plan namin is to take the Phi Phi Island-Maya by Big Boat trip it's 1400/person.  BTW its more expensive (Baht 1700) if your hotel is not located in Patong, Karon or Kata Beach (Phuket).

We plan to stay in Phuket then just go for this day trips every other day.  The other two are Phanga Bay by Canoe and then Coral Beach.  Mahirap kasi palipat lipat ng hotel.

These information are based on my extensive research (LOL) because we are planning to go there on 18th June

sis blooming sorry super late reply.. in terms of view maganda ang palawan.. the our montain looks fresher hehe. tapos yung tubig natin. mas maganda.. yung sand natin mas maputi. mas fine..

pero in terms of facilities, mas maganda dun. ang gaganda ng hotels e. yung food, thai food na ordinary. maanghang.. not much maanghang eater ako e. i prefer shempre filipino food, jap food and chinese..

I love seeing the place while on the way to Phi Phi and pag di pa nakakababa ng island.  Pero once nasa Phi phi ka na, super crowded, ang sikip ng daanan na.  Maganda yong lugar papunta don, ang gaganda ng islands, etc.  Tapos super clear ng water kita mo mga isda, and ang sarap mag-snorkeling...

We had a day trip to Phi Phi when we went to Phuket last 2009.  The hotel we checked in offered tours na very cheap and super ganda ng hotel.

Dati we were planning to stay at Phi Phi kaso hassle ang palipat lipat..buti na-convince ko sa BF we'll stay at Phuket na lang tas puro day trips.

Did you to Phang na Bay too? How about Coral Island?
Ano pa masusuggest mo na magandang puntahan na Island?

^ Krabi Island, hehhe. pero it is included na rin sa hotel e....We were able to see those too.  Asa cel ko mga pictures, hehe

check Absolute Sea Pearl Hotel in Phuket, have the site sa pc ko sa bahay.  They offer packages na very sulit.  And I only transacted with them via email.  Mabait yong manager don.  Yong officemate ko, they booked one night don sa Sea Pearl tapos one night din sa isa nilang hotel.  May free body massage pa..Sarap...E kinuha namin ni hubby na package is Honeymoon Package (kahit di naman namin honeymoon, heheh).  Sobrang nagandahan si hubby sa loon ng room namin sa hotel.  And panalo sa buffet breakfast, yummy!!!
