@little_princess - bi-nook ko na yung Holiday Inn Swiss Cottage. Sayang nga, if I booked yesterday mas mura ng Php1k per night. O well. We're staying sa Legoland Resort for one night, maganda naman yung mga reviews na nabasa ko and excited na yung mga kids ko.

If you have the budget, ok din yung Chancery Court London. They have a promo now, so for a 4-night stay lalabas Php13k per night with breakfast (usually nasa Php18k yung rate nila). Hindi pumasa yung budget sa mommy ko e, so Holiday Inn na lang kame

@gorgeous_me - sis try Cathay Pacific. Mura lang sila kung promo. We got our tickets for Php44k (taxes included, MLA-London, Paris-MLA).

^yung tickets? Last Feb 29, as in last day ng promo period nila. Nagbook lang ako via phone, so hindi na ko nakapunta ng office nila to avail of the discounted travel tax for kids.

^naku sis, pahirapan kunin yun. parang 1 hour akong nasa phone. hindi ko tinantanan yung agent hanggang hindi siya nakakuha ng date na may promo fare. sinimulan namen ng April hanggang makarating siya ng May.

dapat talaga flexible ka with your travel dates to get the best deal.

btw, mag-ca-cab ba kayo from hotel to airport or train? parang ang hirap kase magtravel ng may luggage na dala. ang mahal naman mag-taxi, sabi ng mom ko nasa Php5k daw.

jenny_syngkit, we're still undecided if we will go for holiday inn swiss cottage or hilton islington. hay, hopefully we can decide this week na. ang nice kasi sa hilton compared to holiday inn and i don't like theur breakfast.. haha ang babaw :p

actually, ngayon palang may warning na ako kay hubby na huwag na magdala ng big luggage (alam niya kasi siya ang magbubuhat. lol)

kaya problema ko now paano ko pagkasyahin lahat ng gamit ko eh 25days kami. plus need pa ng formal attire (plus shoes!!) sa cruise so hindi pwede paulit ulit!

Yan din problema ko exactly, 15 days lang naman kame pero sa lamig kailangan ng bulky jackets. Plan ko 1 suitcase for me and my 2 kids. May balak pa kong magdala ng water! Goodluck na lang sa akin. Hanap ako ng shuttle service or murang transpo to/fro the airport and train station. Nakakainis yung Disney Paris, wala pala silang free transpo to/from airport or train station. Sa Orlando kase meron silang magical express, pati pagclaim ng baggage mo when you arrive at pag-check in sa airport when you leave inaayos ng Disney.

@little_princess - You have time pa naman to decide, Shortly before London Olympics pala yung stay niyo kaya siguro mataas yung rates ng hotels.

^You don't need bulky jackets. Try layering instead or thermals. Para ka na lang naka-aircon sa temp na yan. Plus you will be walking most of the time so maiinitan ka pa nyan if you have bulky jackets on.
A nice mid-heavy sweater plus a jacket and scarf/hat will do just fine.

@m_lim, try packing jersey fabric clothing. They're lighter, no need for ironing and travel friendly. You don't have to have different outfits naman on your cruise. You can mix-match clothes. Have a basic black jersey long skirt or slacks. The dark slacks you can wear on the plane too. Daanin mo sa tops and accessories para hindi ka mukhang paulit-ulit ng damit. Remember you will also be shopping there, I'm sure!   

For shoes, basic black flats and heels. Yung flats can be used for walking around. The heels naman kung gusto mong pumorma during your dinner cruise. No more boots since it is starting to get warm by the time you get there. Ideally 3 pairs ka lang ng shoes.

Try to plan to wear your outfit at least 3-4 times, mix-matching them to save on weight and space. Maski sabihin mo pang di ka magshopping, you'll still end up buying stuff. So, try not to overpack. Whatever you'll be buying there, plan to wear it there na rin.

jenny_syngkit, oo nga kaya we need to decide na soon kasi rooms are getting booked fast! hilton kasi is so nice but the tube ride to westminister takes about 35mins.

m_lim, i was in santorini around april last year and the weather was windy! start of spring pa lang that time, a bit cool pero maaraw and windy. there are days na ok lang 3/4 sleeved shirt or sometimes a light jacket. i am assuming that come may, full blown spring na so mas mainit but since it's an island, it can get very windy! santorini is super nice and try to visit mykonos too

I just back from Berlin, Prague, Warsaw, Czestochowa, Krakow, Banska Bystria, Bratislava, Budapest and Vienna. If anyone has questions, let me know we were on a tour so everything was set up for us but nevertheless, it was a great experience!

for sure we will celebrate new year in london what nearby countries that are good to visit? since we leave dec. 25 or 26, i was thinking of 1 country, then london, then another country. will just stay for 15days max. any inputs will be greatly appreciated
