mga sis help..im here again..this time we're planning to go to spain this august.barcelona and spain..any ideas how much is the train from barcelona to madrid?what are the places to visit in barcelona and spain...thanks mga sis..

Hi sis. We visited Barcelona last year and these are the places we've been to:

1. Sagrada Familia
2. Casa Mila
3. Parc Guell
4. La Ramblas

^thanks sis ^vain chiq^. Ok ba ang mode of transpo sa barcelona sis? Malalapit lang ba yang mga places na yan sa isat-isa? or we need to take bus or trains from one place to another? Where did you stay sis?  thanks sis in advance...

^Actually sis hindi ko na matandaan sis kung malapit ba sila sa isa't isa but everything can be reached by bus and metro. Yung Parc Guell lang medyo mahirap hanapin kasi pataas yung lugar so you could just reach it by bus but the locals are very helpful naman.

We stayed at Ibis Hotel Barcelona Meridiana. Medyo malayo sya sa center sis but its just 5 minutes walk from the metro station which makes it convenient. Me katabi rin syang 2 big malls: Heron City and El Corte Ingles. Yung Heron City, there are outlet shops of Mango, Pull and Bear and Bershka  pero medyo outdated na yung styles. Hehe.

^Hindi sis eh. More on the beach areas within Costa Brava kami nagpunta after Barcelona like Santa Sussana, Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar and L'Estartit. August din kami nagpunta last year sis and super init! Don't forget to wear some sunblock at masusunog ka. Hehe.

^sis san airport kayo dumating sa barcelona?tumitingin ako sa ryan air and jetstar now meron ibat-ibang airport sa barcelona eh..san yung pinaka malapit sa center sis?

^sa Reus kami sis pero me kalayuan sya sa center. Nagrent-a-car kami sis and nagloko pa nga Tomtom namin so nawala wala pa kami before makarating sa hotel.LOL.

first time kong mag cruise. kung malamig pa sa ship ng mid May, anong outfit ang dapat suotin??? anong activities ang pwede gawin since hindi pwede mag swim dahil malamig?

sis, most hotels in central Paris (inner arrondissements) are within easy access to a metro station. You won't run out of shops, restaurants or grocery stores either.

Now, depende na lang yan on how much is affordable to you. Off season you can get EUR80-90 a night for a double room in a 3 star hotel. Slightly cheaper for a 2 star hotel. If during in or high season the cheapest room rate goes up as high as EUR120/night.

@m_lim, sis that means two nights in Venice right? Longer would be better but more expensive    If that's the only time you have then that should cover most of the must-see sights there. Check melodymedley's post on her Venice trip.

Is the 2nd arrondissement area a good choice? Wanted to be where local shop, eat, accessible to markets? Near metro? Am considering apartments also. What do you think?

it's in the 15th arr but almost boundary na ng 7th. 10-minute walk to Eiffel tower. According sa mga reviews may market, bakery, cafes & shops near the hotel. Super near din daw sa metro.

ni-book na namin since yan lang nakita ko na pasok sa budget, nice location & good reviews. Ayun, baka lang gusto mo ding i-consider.
