Hostels are very cheap already so they don't give hourly rates. You can find hourly rates usually sa mga airport lounges. What you can do is ask your hostel if you can leave your bags in their storage area while waiting for check-in in case di pa ready your room.

check out the travel tours offered online then just customize it according to your own pace/budget etc =)

Hubby and I are doing Italy next year. Road trip also mostly in Tuscany. I'm still in the initial planning stage. Full blast ko na itinerary namin as soon as I get back from our US trip in August. Of course, DIY all the way pa rin.

^^sis vhanya, i actually have a rough draft so to speak but i just want to get some feedback and confirmations from those who have been there and done that.

i have actually been to italy years back (rome, venice, florence, pisa, montecatini, sorrento, amalfi) but all tourist spots lang, coz these were just excursion trips, included in our mediterranean cruise.

this time, we want to go on a road trip naman para to experience the local flavor so to speak.

want to compare notes sana --- wala pa rin bang italy thread?

^There is Venice thread but you're right we should create an Italy thread. Will just merge the Venice thread there. And yes, let's compare notes. I'll be needing a lot of inputs and tips. This will be my first trip to Italy.

^Yup, it is by train. I was also toying with the idea of going there kaya lang baka gahulin na kami sa oras. But we'll see.... If ever you decide to do a sidetrip, post your experience in the Italy thread.

Sorry I dunno if this has been asked na, but kelangan ba ng visa even if you're just going to a country for a stopover? For example, Manila to London to Dublin. Final stop ko is Dublin, do I still need a UK visa kahit connecting flight lang ang London?

Seriously though it's so easy to plan a European itinerary. Just have the time and patience. The internet is your best friend. Or if you prefer travel books, okay din.
