Is it advisable to get a haircut in Paris?

sis, yung 10K a day sobra-sobra na yan. Experience ko lang ha most of the time nalilimutan na namin mag lunch dahil engrossed kami sa kaka-ikot. We usually start out around 9-10AM kasi after a hearty breakfast then lakad na. Then late lunch/early dinner combined around 4PM. Pag-uwi naman sa apartment we're both tired na to eat kaya tulog na lang. Kaya lumalabas 2 meals a day lang kami ni hubby. Kaya naman every time nag-Europe kami pumapayat ako   

If you want to save more on your meals, go for their "formule" or set menu. Pag a la carte kasi mas mahal. Their formules naman marami na and if you don't eat much super busog ka na. Oh and it's more expensive kung table sitting compared to standing at their bar/counter. But if you really want to splurge since it is going to be your honeymoon, try to get a table at Jules Verne or at the 58 tour Eiffel. Both are located at the Eiffel Tower. You get special access if you have reservations there. The Jules Verne (by Alain Ducasse) restaurant even has their own elevator. 

Eastern Europe is definitely cheaper compared to Western Europe. But kung sa West lang ikot mo, you'll find it cheaper outside of city centers or tourist areas. Another tip: in Paris to find cheap eats look where the locals go for their meals. For sure affordable and masarap dun.

^noted sis thanks so much! we'll try the restaurant you recommended. minsan lang naman mag-splurge, sulitin na. and we also wake up late, baka nga 2 meals a day din kami, a heavy breakfast (free sa hotel) and then early dinner. so mas makakatipid pa kami sa meal. baka bili na lang ng late night snack.

i'm finished with hotels, train and regional plane budget and food budget. bale sights to see na lang talaga and restaurants to try. thanks again!

I had an amazing European tour! (2nd-20th June). Here's some of the highlights:
 
From 2nd-4th June DIY Amsterdam.(Damsquare, Red Light District, Leidseplein).
 
Then 5th dumating na mga travel buddies galing sila ng UK. Enjoyed the Canal cruise in Amsterdam. Yung iba nanood ng live sex show sa Red Light District, kame naman inenjoy namin ang pamamasyal. Kinabukasan (6th) nagpunta sa Flower Market at yung iba pumasok sa Anne Frank House. Afterlunch dumerecho na sa Germany, almost 6hrs din ang biyahe from Amsterdam by land.
 
Germany, nagdinner sa St.Goar, Munich. at nagpunta sa wine tasting yung iba. Nagpunta rin kame sa Beer Hall for our dinner.
 
7th - Hopfgarten, Austria - before lunch nakarating kame sa rafting place and then went straight to contiki camping house. Before dinner nagrent ng mountain bike and saw the quaint village in hopfgarten. After dinner nagkaron ng party animal lols. May mga nagstrip tease at nagcontest paramihan ng sex positions. Game na game ang mga canadians at australians!
 
8th-9th Venice, Italy - We went to St. Martin Square Basilica, then gondola ride. We had pasta and pizza for our dinner.
 
10th - 11th Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland - I celebrated my birthday in Jungfrau Mt. It's my memorable bday so far. It's awesome! One of the best place i've ever seen. sobrang ganda! First time kong makakita ng snow hehe. We tried the snow fun and went up to Sphinx.
 
12-13 Paris, France - We went on top of the Eiffel Tower. It's pretty cool! Inikot ang Paris. (Notre Dame Cathedral, The Louvre, Champs-Elysées)
 
14th - its time to say goodbye to my new found travel buddies. Di ko ineexpect na magiging close kame sa isa't isa. Nakakaiyak :-(.
 
15-20 nagstay ako sa Paris DIY. Nanood ng Moulin Rouge Show, cruisin' in Paris Seine river, nagpunta sa Disneyland at Versailles.
 
Nakakaadik magtravel. :-)

By the way, would you still remember the place where you stayed at in Venice? How was it in terms of cleanliness and distance to the main tourist sites and train station? Hubby and I are doing Italy next year and we'll be going to Venice. I'm starting to plan our itinerary na.

^^ Mama squeak, you might want to check out Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal.  We took trenitalia from Florence to Venice and it's just across the station.  You'll see it as soon as you step out.  We were so happy with our hotel's perfect location, only to realize that we'd have to cross the grand canal to get there.  Not really a problem, but with giant luggage in tow, it is.  We had to drag our suitcase up and down the Scalzi Bridge.  Very memorable

for those naman who wants to scrimp on food (if bulk of the expenses will go on tours and shopping), there's always McDonalds. yun so far ang nakita kong cheap.

Awang-awa ako sa hubby ko last time we were in Paris kasi he had to carry both bags up and down the metro stations. I have scoliosis so I can't carry heavy stuff. So, this coming trip we're sticking to just one bag 

@Kirstenchelsea - I agree with you on McDonalds. If you're after cheap eats na no hassle and busog-busog ka, go to McDos. For EUR4.50 you get a set breakfast meal na talagang busog ka. While a burger meal will set you back EUR7.00 only. Another cheap option is Nordsee for their seafood sandwiches. Though I haven't seen a Nordsee deli in Paris. Is there one in Venice or Florence?

But of course maski nagtitipid sa food, one still has to try the local cuisine to have an overall experience of the place di ba.

Yup, there are many Nordsee shops in Vienna. Florence, I believe none.

^Hi sis, may mga bangketa o naglalako sa paligid ng Eiffel Tower. Yung nabili ko 6" 3euro lang, tapos yung mga kitchain 1euro (6pcs). Yung 10" di ako nagtanong hehe kase masyado ng malaki baka wala pang 10euro yun. Or check mo din malapit sa George Pampidou madaming ring bilihan ng souvenir at pati sa bandang The Louvre, madaming souvenir shops na mura din.
