^sis, you can check the European thread I and II for tips in Europe. As to budget, depends when ka aalis (late fall and winter time being the cheapest) and what kind of accommodation ang kukunin mo. By the way, I always DIY my Euro trips.

If budget and time permit, please let me know sasama ako sa mga trips nyo. I used to go out a lot lalo na sa mga beaches here in the philippines before I got engaged..

Plan ko is 21 days - France-Italy-Spain-Germany-Amsterdam. Budget is USD 5000. Supermax na yun. Inns and Hostels or homestay ang accomodation.  Interested? I really need a travel buddy. Nasa bucket list ko ang EU this year.

Have heard about those. Hindi ba yun may IT na parang 5am ang gising every day? D Gusto ko sana leisurely pace.

@melodymedley - sis, if I may comment sa IT mo. If you're planning to DIY your trip with only 21 days for 5 countries parang hindi magiging leisurely yung trip mo. Unless one city per country lang pupuntahan mo then baka pwede pa. You have to consider din kasi your travel time. Try to plot your IT as early as now so you can see if it's doable. Try to have a map of Europe to see how far each places are from one another. Check mo na rin the European Thread I and II to give you an idea. Kasi if you're planning to go late this year on a DIY dapat at least 70% tapos na yung IT mo.

I always DIY my Euro trips and ang lead time preparation ko is usually a year in advance. Kasi I have to plan out the logistics, the routes, accommodations, etc. Pag dating ng 6 months before ETD naka 60% tapos na IT ko. By 3rd month before ETD 90% tapos na IT ko and puro re-confirmation na lang ginagawa ko. May pagka OC din kasi ako. But better prepared early than being harassed the last minute di ba?

^Thanks mama squeak! My plan is 6D France, 6D Italy, 4D Germany, 3D Spain and yung tirang oras lang yung Amsterdam. Might drop Spain totally. Will post in the European thread I've been reading. I've been lurking there since late last year actually. I also plot everything in excel and I find it very enjoyable. Overwhelming lang minsan.

^yup, that's what I do also complete with the costing. It's so much easier to see/visualize in excel form kasi. Sige abangan kita sa European thread. Happy planning!

@melodymedley and mooncake and leaves - I might join you guys if you plan to go to Machu Picchu. Tagal na namin gusto ni hubby pumunta dyan di lang ma-timingan. In three or four years time hopefully. Unahin muna namin sa Europe.

update nyo ko mga sis if may travel na weekends lang. wala na kasi ko vl sa work kaya ang hirap magplan ng mahabang travel.
