How long were you together before you started talking about settling down? Not just the formal proposal, but even just talking about it. My bf and I have been together for a year and we have NEVER talked about it. (Once lang, when he joked that "Pag kasal na ba tayo, mommy at daddy na ang tawagan natin sa isa't isa?" Something dumb like that. To which we both laughed because it sounded funny  :D We never talked about anything related to us getting married ever again) I think it's still early in the game... or is it? I have friends who started talking about getting married na 3 months palang sila. I would like to know my options of course, but I'm not rushing. I just want to know the "industry standard" if there is one  ;)

We're not even "on" yet but we both know we like each other. Sa showbiz lingo: exclusively dating! hehe. But he talks about it a lot lalo na lately...hmmm

^Wow!

May communication pa din naman with his children, kasi mahal namin yun kids, pero not the ex-wife.

He talks about you spending the rest of your life with each other? Ayos ah.  How do you feel about that? Ikaw din you can imagine yourself getting married to him this early?

I guess we both are in the stage of our lives na we're both ready na and kasi we've known each other for years already but we never dated before because we both were committed to our exes then. I do like him a lot but I guess no marriage plans for me pa this early...  :) Bahala na...

My partner and I are so madly in love that we have been talking about marriage after four months of dating.

Wish us luck!

^ Wow!! That's great! Best wishes asia711 and yellowscrubs!! :)

Asia711, how long have you been together na? :)

I guess meron talagang ganoon, mabilis. And then meron like mine, jusko, ambagal. Hindi ko nga alam kung mabagal lang, or talagang, never na! My parents got engaged after only 6 months of dating. And in less than 6 months they got married. Today, Jan. 5, is their 34th wedding anniversary :D  Fairy tales do come true talaga for some people ano? Hay.

^ thanks sis! almost a year na but we got engaged 4 mos. into our relationship pa lang. Don't worry sis, time will come. Maybe for now he's just not yet ready to commit sa ganung level ng relationship, kumbaga wala pa siya siguro sa marrying stage. But it doesn't mean he loves you any less, diba?

Anyway, i am sure you will find your fairy tale ending like your parents did, someday... Patience is a virtue!:)

and by the way, don't worry sis may mas malala akong kwento sa'yo...

"KASAL? ANONG KASAL? WALA YUN SA BOKABULARYO KO."

in front of me niya pa yan sinabi ha... ansama diba... buti nalang hiniwalayan ko siya at nahanap ko prince charming ko. ;D

i'm sure naman sis na hindi ganito sitwasyon niyo... mas ok na yung hindi niyo pagusapan kaysa tulad sakin na harap harapan sabihin na never kami ikakasal hahahaha...  8)

Simula pa lang ng relationship namin, he talked about it na but I wasn't on that level yet. It was when he gave me a ring on our second year that I started thinking about it as well and we started to talk about it more often. We're on our fourth year and we're getting married. :)
