^my preferred store is the Apple Store online. 
I have 3 other laptops that are Windows based and I always use my 11 inch MBA (when I'm not using my iPad2) because it boots up in under 15 seconds, it's lighter and the interface is just cleaner and more stable.

^I agree. Winner yung pag-open palang sa Mac. Ang bilis! Sa Windows kasi pwede ka pa kumanta ng happy birthday hindi pa siya tapos mag-start.

mga sis, nakakapagprint ba kayo sa mac nyo ng 2 sided? paano? nililipat ko pa sa windows ni hubby yung piniprint ko  minsan naman natatamad ako kaya ayun print ko na lang, mas gusto ko sana 2 sided para tipid sa papel

hi sisses! I just want to ask kung pag ginagamit nyo ba yung Mac nyo you hear a strong fan sound? Pag ginagamit ko kasi parang may tunog ng hang in somewhere. Is that normal? Dapat bang tahimik yung laptop pag ginagamit or you hear sounds din (parang running machine / mahangin yung tunog)

^Yes pero pag ginagamit ko lang siya when I watch a movie or mag-burn ng DVD, etc... pero pag surf ng net, wala naman.

Na-check mo yung sa iStat mo? Sabi nila the fan should be running at 2000rpm or less.

^^ sis naayos ko na anyway thanks for mentioning the iStat! haha! Now I know where to check the fan speed.

Anyway, one more thing that's bothering me regarding Mac ay yung insurance nina. Do you guys have one? Last August 13 yung Ace Insurance called me, saying na insurance company daw sill na naghahandle ng gamit ng buyers ng Power Mac; and that they would be sending something over. I was also charged of total: 1,000+ something. I think it was 1,600? that I have to pay per month.

Do all of you Power Mac - laptop buyer have one too?

^That's the first time I heard of Ace Insurance. Ang alam ko warranty lang meron sa Mac. You can extend it by purchasing Apple Care.

By the way, I bought my Mac in Power Mac Walang nabanggit about insurance.

^^ that's weird. I called Power Mac and they confirmed about the Ace Insurance thing. I did not think it was fraud kasi they have all the information of my laptop, my information as the buyer, and # of my receipt. What's just bothering me is the package I'm supposed to received 10 days after haven't arrived yet and it has been 23 days already.

When did you buy your MBPro? I bought mine just last month. I think recent lang yung insurance program nila. I just bought my Mac Air tapes ayun bigla na lang one day may tumawag na Ace Insurance saying it's they are working with Power Mac clients handling the insurance for Power Mac buyers.

^Ahhh... mukhang recent nga lang. I bought mine nung 2008 pa.

Kulitin mo nalang sila sis para mapabilis yung delivery nila.

^i think yung mga recent releases ng mba's are really good for the price and portability.

sino dito naka encounter nung red battery? surfed around nothing to be alarmed about it naman daw but it's scary lang when i see it. naghahanap ako ng karamay!

^hindi dot eh. yung battery icon from the screen nagiging red tapos later babalik sa normal. i have to surf it up again to see what it means. baka duguan ang battery ko...battered battery lol. sooooo wawa.

to those who have mba, how did you install MS office? may nakita akong steps but I am still contemplating on the best way to do that.

kapag pinasok ko ba sa windows pc, valid pa rin yung 3 licenses na kasama nung MS Office? i know someone kasi who installed it 2x (in 2 different macbooks) pero hindi na pwede iintall for the 3rd time (in the same macbook).

^$29.99. Ok naman siya pero di ko pa ma-maximized kasi joke time naman tong laptop ko, pang DL, laro sa FB at net lang haha At pang-nuod din pala.

Bago mo pala install, alamin mo yung hindi gagana na apps ha. Baka kasi important yung mga yun at biglang di gumana.
