3.7g.. as what i have previously read. There's no cd available for dl, only usb sticks for $60+ according to what I've read. I want to dl too, but I wonder how long would it take. Dapat magback up kasi parang clean install ang mangyayari eh.

^Ang laki! haha Normally ang 3gb sa akin around 4 hours. Hay... I am not that patient pa naman kasi palagi ko gamit tong laptop ko.

Good thing pala na palagi naka-backup tong laptop ko kaya ok ako. I have to buy iTunes card this weekend talaga.

kaso walang pause ang dl. i think you have to save the installe itself. ang haba kc ng mga reviews & installation procedures sa ibat ibang website sa lion kaya tinatamad ako magupdate hehe

^Pero sa App Store siya. May pause dun diba? When I buy apps kasi tapos biglang naputol net connection ko, I can still resume my DL.

I asked a friend's bf regarding the OS X Lion.

They don't have CD for it, only download from Mac App Store.  The USB stick version will be available in August for $69.
You can install it in more than 1 Mac as long as you authorize it. It took him more or less 2 hours to download.  He's Manila based, hindi ko lang alam what connection he was using

I dowloaded Lion and made a bootable jump drive nalang. I didn't see the point of dishing out more money plus it's not available pa. The new macbook airs din pala don't come with a bootable usb. Ugh.. They are pushing the cloud so hard.

Has anyone here ever encountered problems with transferring files from Macbook Pro to external hard drive? New Mac user lang kasi ako and I don't know what to do to solve this problem. Tried copying and pasting the files, as well as dragging them to the correct folder but ayaw nya magtransfer. Nababasa naman ng laptop ko yung files sa external hard drive, and I can open them too. Yung pagtransfer lang talaga ang problema.

just install NTFS-3G on your mac. that's what we do sa macs namin.

^Did you upgrade to Lion?  Heard that NTFS 3G does not work on Lion.   It works perfectly for me on SL.

I am currently downloading Lion. I purchased iTunes gift card. Ang bagal!

Buti nalang my external hard drive is formatted to Mac (NFS+) so I have no problem here. Still deciding habang nagda-download siya kung mag-clean install ba ko. Naka-backup na lahat ng files ko.

By the way, I talked to some people in Power Mac, yung mga recent lang daw bumili ng laptop sa kanila pwede nila lagyan (for free) ng Lion

^as in lahat ng recent? the app store offers it lang to those who bought between June 6 and the launch of Lion (Jul 20?). in any case am still upgrading next yr pa naman. just curious.

^I didn't asked kung kelan. Tinanong nila ako when ko nabili yung akin. 2008 pa kaya malabo talaga free ako haha I was joking to my dad na bili kami bagong laptop haha I still want Air but wala pa daw yung bago.

Naka-install na Lion ko. I'm getting around palang pero isa lang napansin ko since favorite ko ang Spaces kasi, di ko type yung pag-transition niya. Dati kasi smooth eh, ngayon may black na ewan pag lilipat ako ng ibang Space. Di na pala Space tawag sa kanya, Desktop na so bawat Desktop pwede lagyan ng wallpaper.
