^shampoo is 1095 @ Studio Fix (5F Greenbelt 5)... checked the price online, it's around $28... so i think it's quite cheap there...

they have different variants nga.... pero nung ni-shampoo nila ako when i had a hair cut... they used the SuperSmooth variant :) it depends on the status of your hair...

there's still a debate on the BAD effects of Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and its similar kinds which are Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) and Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate (ALS) on our hair.

most of the shampoos out there consists of SLS, SLES, OR ALS -- which are used to provide foam to our shampoos. many of us think that if we don't get the rich lather and foam -- we think that our hair and scalp are not properly cleaned. this is why a lot of people are not satisfied with sulfate free... but there a re a LOT of benefits! :)

just sharing why sulfate-free shampoos are great for your hair:

- studies show that sulfates are irritants which can not only irritate the scalp but the skin as well. it also strips our scalp all the natural oils it has -- thus, making our scalp dry that leads to dandruff, itching, etc...

- too much sulfate, when absorbed by our hair will make it brittle, breakable and dull...    kaya pala even if i used a hair fall shampoo... i still experience hair fall galore :P

- reduces frizz giving your hair a more healthy shine...     when i had my haircut at studio fix last week... while they were cutting my hair, i noticed my hair was so soft... after blow dry, i noticed it was super shiny! that's why i bought pureology after even if they didn't forced me to :P the day after, less frizz talaga siya

- great for color-treated hair as it reduces the color fading process

- reduces occurrence of gray hair - which is triggered by the presence of sulfates - which is also present in detergents...

sana lang di manawa ang hair ko sa pureology.... quite expensive... but so far so good... after i finish my gugo conditioner... will buy the conditioner as well...

Ive been using 3 shampoos for colored hair:
1. Pureology essential repair
2. Clairol Herbal essences Color me happy
3. V05 Anti fade shampoo

kung anong mood ko, yung gamit ko. But my fave among the 3 is Color me happy. Herbal essences works for me talaga kahit yung for curls nila. Smells great rin and soft even without conditioner, so i use this when im so tamad to use conditioner.

Pureology is quite pricey, tipid ako sa pag gamit, its organic and sulfate (?) free which is best daw if we want to maintain the color and d mag fade agad. But mejo matigas sa hair kaya i have to use conditioner after, d pwedeng hinde.

V05 back up ko lang siya. Nothing to rave about aside from being colored hair specific product siya.

For conditioner, i use citre shine or loreal. wala kase ko makita na color me happy na conditioner recently e.

Hi Sis! where do you buy Pureology? thanks!
