I went to Mercury drugstore today. I am planning to buy a HEMROID supplement, they don't allowed me, they asked for a Rx.  I thought puede. Pero nakabili ako, sabi ko FAKTU ointment ginagamit ko na sya hehe..Medyo relieve ng konti ang kirot.

good morning!

i will be having a medical examination soon. im worried kasi i have a small external hemorrhoid/skin tag, and baka hindi ako makapasa sa medical. will it be an issue? hindi naman kasi sya maskit or nakaka-interfere. constipated kasi ako before pero mas regular na bowel movement ko recently

Hi, share ko lang experience ko.

I had hemorrhoidectomy. However, several months after the surgery I had anal stenosis.
So meron ako ulit hemorrhoids at mas malala pa kesa before.

Anal stenosis means that the anal opening is too small, or that it does not relax or open properly. Scar tissue can cause anal stenosis.

In some people, the internal anal sphincter does not relax as it should. This makes the anal opening too small.

In my case, the internal anal sphincter does not relax kaya hindi ako makadumi kahit anong ire. Kahit uminom pa ko ng laxative, basta hindi stimulant laxative like senokot. Sa senokot lang ako nakaCR ulit ng normal. But senokot irritates the colon kaya di pwedeng long term. At hindi dapat maging dependent sa laxatives. By the way, di pla dapat umire. It results to more damage to the anus and rectum.

Anyway, thank God, I discovered magnesium supplement (trimag, sa mercury meron). It relaxes the anal sphincter muscle so now I can have a normal bowel movement.

For me, if the hemorrhoid is not bothering you in a way that affects the quality of your life or if it is not life threatening, don't have it removed surgically. Anal stenosis is way so much life threatening dahil kahit parang puputok na ang tiyan mo sa sobrang puno ng stool, hindi ka makakajeebs dahil una, walang urge na maramdaman ang rectum mo, at pangalawa, sobrang constricted ang rectum mo, walang makalabas, kahit makafart, hindi mo magawa.

Just sharing what I have experienced. Nagsisi talaga ako na nagpahemorrhoidectomy ako.
But anyway, talk to a very good gastroenterologist.

Maycjj- just want to inform everyone that anal stenosis doesn't happen to all patients who underwent surgery for hemorrhoids. As we all know, hemorrhoids can appear around the anus. Imagine your anus like a face of the clock. If you remove multiple hemorrhoids at the same time, anal stricture may happen coz the scarring may cause that conditionl thats why patient with multiple hemorrhoids we usually just remove the major areas to prevent that complication. I hope i have explained this better. If you have any questions, pls feel free to ask me. I dont want misconceptions on hemorrhoidectomy.

dati nagka almuranas din ako due to constipation,grabe ang sakit...so i search in internet and marami suggestions ,,,,what amazed me is using garlic oil capsule....maybe hindi pa malala almuranas ko so i tried it,,,i bought garlic oil capsule and insert in my anus,sa simula 2x garlic oil capsule pinapasok ko,,and na  relieved agad ang pain,,,so if mag poops me ulit ,insert ulit ng garlic oil capsule and wala ulit sakit....mga 2 days nawala na sakit,,,,of course doon na me nagsimula uminom ng wheat grass or barley grass every night,then a litter of water before breakfast,,hindi na me hirap dumumi and so far hindi na ulit sumakit pa almuranas ko.....garlic oil capsule din pina gamit ko sa hubby ko ng sumakit almuranas nya.....of course hindi pwede ito sa may malala ng almoranas....

Update lang. 2 weeks lang ako uminon ng Trimag. I switched to Solgar Magnesium Citrate, meron sa Healthy Options. mas safe kasi citrate kesa sa trimag n sulfate ata. 2 weeks ko lang din ininum. nagamot anal stenosis ko. nagrelax na anal sphincter ko. nagnormalize na bowel movement ko. tapos tinigil ko na magnesum supplement. up to now, normal. thank God.

i wanted to have a check up tomorrow regarding my rectal bleeding, wala akong idea what is happening inside of me now.

wala naman ako abdominal pains so i don't think it has something to do with my stomach. mas convinced ako na sa may rectal/anus/colon ang problem because constipated na ako eversince.

Hi po doc she,.im a new here.i am vanjs , i had 2 operation of hemorrhoidectomy.noong una 2011 tapos may nanatira nun na parang anal fissure po ba yun or skin tag,.nagworsen po] ngbuntis po ako last year at noong nanganak po ako last february,.kaya last fri nagpaopera po ulet ako kase nagaapply po ako abroad and i am afraid na baka mafail po ako sa medical exam..ngayon po parang like yung dati po ulit na parang skin tag or anal fissure po ba yun??maalis pa po ba yun??i am trying to maintain na di po ako magstrain..and since after the operation noong fri di pa naman po ako nahirapan nag pooo, i ate 1 slice of papaya every meal and breakfast 1bowl of oatmea and hot sitz bah 2-3x aday for 10-15minutesl.and a lot of water..concern ko doc she pag namaintain ko po ba yung soft poo at di magstrain anal fissure po ba na yun maalis???at isa p po sa wednesday medical exam ko po mafafail p kaya ako??kumuha po ako medical certificate  from the hospital...hope for your response po….at gaano po kaepektibo yung hem-roid supplement kasi sa mga nababasa ko po dito effective naman daw po at nawala yung external hemorrhoids po nila

Vangielyn- are you sure its really an anal fissure, coz usually they presents as severe pain when defecating. Even with rectal examination, the pain is not tolerable. Best is to have it checked by a surgeon who operated on you .

Hi, parang may rectal/anus problem ako kasi pag constipated ako minsan may blood sa poopoo. Medyo nagwoworry ako and before magpoo may sign na sumasakit yun tiyan pero tolerable nman then after nun start na ng poopoo normally happens after lunch. So parang nagiging sign na kapag slight sumakit yun tiyan wait for few minutes then need to go to toilet na. Hindi po eto nangyayari before.

Sorry for stupid question, sino po specialist ng hemorrhoids or pag may rectal/anus problem? Thanks

sabi mo sumasakit din ang tyan mo, then pede ka magpunta sa gastroentorologist/internist. Sila din ang gumagawa ng mga endoscopy if needed.
