PEDIATRIC DENTIST

hi mga sis! I tried searching for a thread regarding pediatric dentists but medyo matagal na yung mga last posts so I decided to make a new one. baka you can help me give referrals preferably in south area na ok na pedia dentist. I'm having problems with my baby's teeth. Nasisira na kasi even though she has a good dental hygiene and she was breastfed for a long time and i don't make her eat candies or sweets a lot. HIndi ko nga alam why her teeth is like that... I get really frustrated when I see her teeth! feeling ko napabayaan ko sya pero hindi naman. before yung 2 front teeth lang nya ang problem, ngayon nag start na din sa molars! sobrang sad We went to Dentista yung nasa mall pero hindi ko gusto yung service nila tapos ang mahal maningil! Anybody here who can recommend a good one in south? I would greatly appreciate it! thanks in advance!

try Abesamis sis.. in festival mall we've tried a few pedia dentist na rin.. dun lang naging cooperative si baby ko

^thanks sis appreciate it! Good thing it's a mall and they are open on weekends. I only have Sundays free kasi. Is there a particular dentist there that you would recommend? Tsaka sis how much do they charge for consultation? Thanks ulit!

I'm not sure if this will be helpful sis... yung eldest ko kasi, dati iyak lang ng iyak sa pedia dentist. that was around 2-3yro sya.

This time, since he knows the concept of "community helpers" and "dentist", dinadala ko sya sa dentist-ninong nya. he may not have a specialization in pedia-dentirsty but he handles kids as young as 2yro.

so una, dinadala ko lang sya for him to observe lang. ako ang patient parati.
then i let him sit down on the dentist chair.
tapos check up na.
next time babalik kami, cleaning na kami.

the dentist that we go to, super gaang ng kamay. and na aayos nya yung mga teeth ng kids even milk teeth. na rerestore nya...

sis try to call dra.crespo sa asian hospital,n ask a referral for pedia dentist don,kasi sabi sakin na ipadentist na si baby kaso para sakin okay namn teeth ng baby ko,(for cleaning daw yata?),baka matakot lang siya kaya hindi ko muna siya pinunta don..what i did para hindi masira teeth ng baby ko brush n then after nya magbrush kukunin ko yung face towel nya n yun ang pinanglilinis  ko iniisa isa ko teeth nya kaya lang pag ang yaya na wala tiyaga..

My daughter is 3 yrs old. The last time we went to the dentist she was just a little over 1 yr old and then the second one was when she was about to turn 2. Yung first time talaga super nagwala sya. Parang may pinahid lang na fluoride tapos wala nang nagawa kasi nga ayaw. Yung second naman sinama ko sya sa dentist ko and tried na makita man lang sana ng dentist ko yung teeth nya kaso ayaw tlaga. my dentist told me na bring her back around 3 yrs old kaya now that she's 3 i want to go again but this time I think she needs a pedia dentist like the first one we went to kaya lang hindi ko kasi nagustuhan yung service nila kaya yoko na dun. I wish this time she'll cooperate.

i'm also looking for a child friendly dental clinic for my toddlers... we're just here for vacation. my kids don't have dental problems yet but i want to see if they are doing well. we are based in denmark and they got their dental check their but the dentist didn't do anything.she just said they are fine.that's why i want them to get checked here. any recommendations accessible to cubao area?

sis, is your daughter using flouride free toothpaste? i was adviced by a dentist before na kids toothpaste should contain flouride. sa denmark yung colgate toothpaste ng kids ko pang 0-6yrs old with flouride sha.so far wala naman problem.may nabasa din ako sa newspaper nila na once in a while try using adult toothpaste kasi yung kids toothpaste daw doesn't contain enough flouride. i do that once a week. konti lang para di matapang sa kids.

my eldest is 3yrs and 8 mos while my youngest is 1yr and 10mos old.i always give them water after they eat something if ever i couldn't brush their teeth.this is how i do it in denmark sis.you can verify this to a reliable dentist here and hopefully you'll be able to find what will suit your daughter...

naku sori sis at late reply ako.. thats one thing i like about Abesamis, open sila ng Sundays.. Sunday lagi ang appointment ni baby ko sa kanila.. u may try Dra Tanya.. she's our pedia-dentist.. sobrang nice and gaan ng kamay niya.. and what I like about her, she takes time talaga to get along with kids.. and she didn't force to do any procedures pag wala sa mood yun bata.. ta try muna niya then if positive ang response saka niya itutuloy.. like last Sunday, it was my little one's sked e.. she was supposed to put sealant on may baby's two molars.. what she did was she ask my baby first, and since gusto ng baby ko one lang muna.. next time na lang daw yun isa.. simula talaga nun nalipat kami sa kanya, hassle-free and no crying moments na sa dentist si baby ko.. she's available every second and fourth Sunday of the month Tell her ni refer ka ni mom ni robynne

i recommend dr. jay of tooth fairy, phone number 4820887. malapit ito sa magallanes commercial center and sa bus stop (tinitigilan ng provincial buses) sa ilalim ng magallanes flyover.

for me, ang galing nya. sa first visit, orientation muna ang gagawin nya sa anak nyo sa first visit. he is magiliw sa mga bata. he is doing this para di matakot ang baby sa actual dental treatment na gagawin nya at para di matakot sa mga instruments nya. next visit na ang actual treatment  di takot ang toddler ko sa kanya.

magkano naman yung fee ng mga pedia dentists. my 1 year old baby parang may mga cavities na, super hirap akong i tooth brush, gusto ko cyang dalhin sa pedia dentist.

My kid is 5 yrs old and very cooperative. Would you still recommend we see a pediatric dentist instead of a regular one?

hi sis, you might want to consider Dra.Georgina roa-Remulla her clinic is in alabang lang.hay..My 2yo daughter is candidate for baby root canal,she fall on the ground nag cracked kasi yun isang teeth medyo severe kasi maliit na lang yun naiiwan and yun 3 front teeth niya need also kasi my cavities na,but good thing dra.georgie gave us hope na she'll put artificial crown para aesthetically maayos,she really took time to explained to me the procedure if ever mag push thru, yun lang medyo pricey nasa 35k ++ i'l try din mag pa-quote from abesamis hope mas lower yun rates nila kahit konti..
