wow, 30 days, ang tagal ah, usually 1-2 weeks lang eh.
and if that is for a lifetime, I suggest you read the links I posted above or
be forever dependent on allergy medz with lots of side effects.

dati rin i was given a nasal spray to use for 30 days. napansin ko kasi kapag hindi ako kagad uminom ng anti-allergy lumalala siya. minsan kasi kapag itinulog mo nawawala naman...so yun, i guess na exacerbate siya to the point na hindi ako makahinga kahit nakaupo ako

pare-pareho nga prescriptions nila. nung sa Perpetual Las Piñas ako nagpaconsult, cetirizine lang prescription sa akin. nung nag 2nd opinion ako ng ENT MD sa Makati Med, dun ako pina-biopsy na.

kasi nag nose bleed na din ako kaya they decided na i-nasal endoscopy ako and biopsy, well it turns out nga na allergy talaga siya. then pinagsama ni Doc Victoria yung cetirizine and Sinupret, mas naging effective sa akin compare sa dati na cetirizine lang.

^masakit ba yung endoscopy? ako kasi natakot di na bumalik eh. pero now I learned to control na my allergies. Ganun talaga, me tendency mag nose bleed kasi na-aggravate ang nose, and manipis lang din blood vessels dun and madaling masugat.

Also, most anti-allergy medicine to be effective should be taken before lumala ang symptoms. In my case, if malala na sipon ko (sneezing, water eyes, nasal drip, itchy ENT), I just wait it out for 24 hours para mawala allergies ko, since wala na ring effect talaga pag inom ng anti-allergy medz.

hindi naman masakit endoscopy kasi may i-spray sa ilong mo na anesthesia, pag na-spray siya sa ilong mo eh parang nilanghap mo ng bongga ang wasabe.. saka yung tubo na iinsert ni MD eh i-ffit niya sa butas ng ilong mo.

the doctor prescribed Nasoflo (Nasal Spray) for me to use for a month. Then I'll have a follow-up thereafter.

I also have this but thankfully have not had an attack in years.  prone to allergies kasi ako - it's either rhinitis, or bronchial asthma, or skin itchiness.  why not try to consult an allergiologist?  My understanding is that if the allergen is an inhalant, pwede ka pa-immune.  That's what I did back in 2000 kasi my allergy is already affecting my work (interrupted sleep tapos so sleepy pa sa medicines).  Laki naman ng improvement ko.  No maintenance allergy meds for years.  Sometimes I'll have an attack, take lang ako med once, tapos wala na.  Except lang pag bronchial asthma, sometimes 1 week bago mawala.

im also suffering from allergic rhinitis. i went for a check-up sa doc ko and she said can't use perfumes and all skincare i use should be unscented/hypoallergenic. she also advised cleaning aircon/electric fan and carpet regularly. i have to avoid pets daw and am so sad cuz i have a dog at home. right now im taking co-aleva and montemax at night and at the same time using Avamys and Humer salt spray. I don't have the allergy symptoms anymore

Just to share what I do to control allergic rhinitis without medication.
1) Wash the curtains once a month (if you have a maid of course and washing machine)
2) Regularly clean the filter of your aircon as well as the electric fan (namumuo mga dust diyan pati hair sumasabit)
3) Vacuum the beds and pillows (dust mites are allergens)
4) Use a nice vacuum like Dyson or Rainbow Vacuum (mahal si Rainbow, around 126k pero worth it naman)
5) Use air purifiers or if you have rainbow, it doubles as an air cleaner.
6) Don't be in the same room if someone is cleaning.  Let the dust settle for about 2 hours before you go in.
7) I have dustmite spray from sesou.

So far these works for us.  You have change your beddings once a week for extreme cases of allergies kasi most often than not, allergens yan and dun dumidigit yan.

Unfortunate victim of AR here..   
Pero dati tolerable naman... konting pahinga.. drink ng fluids then ok na.... even without meds...
Pero lately, for the most 6 weeks... everyday na kong inaatake... most of the time bago matulog or madaling araw... I assume (kasi di pa naman ako nagpapa check up), this is caused by the AC... kasi kapag lumabas ako ng bahay/office.. lumuluwag ang nostrils ko.. pero still, ngongo pa rin akong magsalita... it runs in the family pala pero parang malala tong sakin at sa nephew ko who is 8 yrs old.

Medyo naalaram na ko lately kasi talagang napupuyat ako because of this... Will have a check up before the week ends.. ayoko ng patagalin baka may kung ano na sa ilong ko

2 weeks ago pala, I had a check up with our Company Doctor.. kasi sobrang barado na ang ilong ko.....  she prescribed Sinupret and Sinutab.. nawala naman ang pagkabara pero yun nga.. bumalik pa rin si AR..

Also suffer from AR. Sakin naman, during cold weather. Sneeze ako ng sneeze. If inaatake na, more than 20 times ata ako nagssneeze ng sunod sunod. Ang hirap! Lalo na if nasa office ako. Nakakahiya!

munson has allergic rhinitis also, i mix essential oils and apply it topically. at night we diffuse the oils also. pure and natural kaya kampante ako na gamitin nya

i recommend rainbow vacuum when cleaning mattresses and pillows weekly Use of mattress and pillow protector helps avoid contact from dust mites if any.  i recently purchased uv care to sterilize my rooms and air purifier.  These may sound a bit much but i am one paranoid momma.
