Allergic rhinitis in adults

has anyone here suffer from Allergic rhinitis (adults)?

it's very irritating! i've been suffering for months! it occurs 2-3 times a week. i tried taking Benadril AH kaso inaantok ako after. Now i'm taking Lorano [Loratadine] i bought from generic pharma. ok naman sya, di ako inaantok but minsan no effect at all! kaya sometimes all day achoo, teary eyed and runny nose. as in parang gripo 

do i need a check-up for this? do i need an allergy test? masakit yun diba? i dunno kung saan nga ako allergic kasi anytime anywhere sinusumpong ako. walang ring history of asthma sa family ko.

sometimes tiis lang din ako pag sinumpong coz i don't want to be dependent on drugs. ewan. sorry kung shunga ako sa bagay na to. is Allergic rhinitis common? naging aware lang ako nung nagkaroon ako nito and napansin ko madami din commercial sa tv about this so maybe dumarami nga ang nagkaka-Allergic rhinitis.

i usually have that pag nakalanghap ako gn alikabok.. so usually yan basta tumatawid ako sa daan!

kaya now, mega cover ng nose everytime I'm out in the streets.

my son paminsan minsan inaatake din, bahing sya ng bahing... ang mahal nga ng nireseta sa kanya before, montelukasty! 30php isang tablet... everyday iinumin for 3 months!!

di ko tinapos yung 3 months, 1 month lang kasi di na rin sya inaatake  inside the house, i've put anion strips sa electric fan and aircon namin.

oo nga, ang mahal ng gamot. sa benadril AH lang P20+ na, kaya sa generic pharma ako bumili, Lorano P8.00 (ata).

kung alikabok ang kalaban, naku talo na ako... anywhere everywhere eh meron nyan

My mom has it.  Effective sa kanya ang Zyrtec... pag yun ang iniinom nya, matagal bago umatake ulit yung allergy.

i have this since i was a kid, best intervention is staying away from the allergen, in my case, alikabok and amag. for allergy to dust, di naman po masakit, parang small scratch lang, tas may ipapatak sila dun sa scratch, tas after a while, pag nag-react yung skin mo, positive for allergy ka, that is para sa dust. Try to go to an immunologist, or kahit sa GP doc muna. Allergic rhinitis din predisposes you to infectious colds. some say, detox will help if not alleviate, lessen the occurrence of allergy, you can do detox by eating nothing but fruits and water for about 3 straight days

i have this rin.. it runs in our family kase e. dust and change in weather/ temperature triggers it. lagi rin ako may baon na antihestamine (loratadine) hassle nga rin kase i cant function well when it attacks

i also have allergic rhinitis since i cant remember when..i tried sprays, sinuprets,neozeps,sinutabs,etc..ngaun naglessen na kasi pinapainum ako ng mom ko ng clear guard ng amway..its effective...naglessen na ang mga sneezes ko...

I also have this, sa dust ako allergic especially yun mga nasa books. Ay grabe, super! Claritin or allerta iniinom ko gamot if sinusumpong ako

same here. nagtrigger din sakin sa dust and change of weather. Argh... i really hate it. Is there a way na mawala na permanent etong allergic rhinitis?

number one victim here. unfortunately, dahil pinabayaan ko ang aking allergic rhinitis naoperahan ako sa sinuses ko. nagkaron na kasi ako ng polyps sa ilong so tinanggal siya. i use Azep nasal spray and muconase panlinis ng ilong.

In my case, im taking verlix, and ang mahal din.. allergic naman ako sa amoy ng news paper and sa aircon pag sobrang lamig na.. haay gusto ko to mawala na totally.

yup, virlix is very mahal.

im a constant sufferer. asthmatic kasi ako e.

sis freeswan, ako pinapabayaan ko lang. its wrong pala. what should i do then? ang mahal kasi nung nasal spray

pede bang gumamit ng nasal spray without the doctor's prescription? kasi dati my nireseta sa hubby ko, muconase and actonaze nasal spray kaso napulled out na daw ng manufacturer sa market ang actonaze, i dunno why nga eh sayang very effective pa naman, ano pa po bang ibang nasal spray para sa allergy? TIA po=)

Ang hirap ng may AR (Allergic Rhinitis).. di mu maeenjoy ang outdoors..

Anyway, there are three ways to prevent/cure this:
1. avoidance of allergens or environmental controls,
2. medications, and
3. allergen-specific immunotherapy (allergy shots).

yep. d dapat pabayaan ang allergic rhinitis. we don't know kung ano na pala pumasok sa ilong natin and system. have a constant checkup. sobrang grave ng rhinitis ko pero pinabayaan ko hanggang sa naging acute na siya. nagdevelop ng napakaraming polyps, thus the surgery. huhuhu. after the srugery, d pa natapos yun, trineat pa yung rhinitis ko. i tried several meds. i was about to have my allergy test when gumana lang sa akin ang azep. actually matagal na ako dapat nagpa allergy test kaso takot ako sa 50 panels eh. kahit sobrang tapang ng azep sa ilong ko, tinanggap ko na lang. how tapang? parang tequila ang nilalanghap mo. tapos there's a proper way to inject nasal spray to your nose ha. kaya better consult ENT's.
