i read from the Palau site that visa of 90 days will be given upon arrival there. exciting di ba?? hehe

Si SIL works in an airline na based sa Palau. Pwede ako magtanong sa kanya about Palau kasi nakailang balik na siya dito. Nakita ko photos niya, sobrang ganda nung tubig! As in ang linaw and color blue green. Kaso madalas daw may nagswi-swim na ahas haha

hello!

i went to palau six years ago, back when airfare was around 40K roundtrip, to visit my husband who was working there as a writer. took continental airlines and there was no visa required. If you are the outdoorsy type, you will definetely enjoy Palau. It's like Palawan waters but ten times cleaner. Sa may shore pa lang, may small harmless sharks na. Sobrang unspoiled. Dun lang ako nakakita ng maraming colorful soft corals.

do not expect a cosmolitan atmosphere though. Para syang prubinsya. celebrities who go there to dive usually stay aboard their private yachts. last time i was there, i wasnt impressed with their five star hotel. but of course that was 5-6 years ago.

If you love water and unspoiled beauty of the ocean, go to Palau. remember, sabi sa Discovery, nasa palau ang number one underwater paradise.

i took continental airlines before. doublecheck na lang if they still fly direct there.

few years ago when I was in Boracay, I checked on a travel agency there & they have a promo to visit Palau. I was amazed that it's visa on arrival. As far as I can remember, small airlines lang ang may trip dun, Asian Spirit pa yata yun. From Manila, you have to take a Davao route then from Davao, Palau na. And, mura pa. I think around 8K ang RT tix. Cosmo did feature Palau before & it was very nice!

Yes meron pa din flght ang continental airlines. but parang twice every week lang ang flight. I went to Palau last Sept, its Manila to Palau sa continental airlines. We went to rock island, scuba diving. ganda.. linaw ng tubig. Sad to say wala ako marecommend na hotel, kasi we stayed at my SIL.

20k lang ang population ng Palau, 15% mga Pinoy pa.
lahat ng mga kakilala ko na gusto mag OFW, tinuturo ko sa bansang ito. ewan ko ba bakit nakipagsiksikan ang mga pinoy sa mid-east where napakahigpit ang batas, may mga nabibitay pa, eh sa Palau crime rate nila is ZERO, (parang Batanes). monetary unit nila US dollar pa.
at kailangan talaga nila ng skilled workers and professionals like nurses and doctors.
kadalasan, dito pa sila sa Pinas tumatakbo para magpagamot and to earn college degrees.

ask ko rin sa friend ko ang mga queries nyo dito. she's a Filipina but was born in Palau, she is presently here studying at the Fastest-Earning University on her second year na.

I always remember the pormas of palau people, batik duster and slippers. yun na ang pinakapanlakad nila. very simple.
we always have a patient from palau even their highest official(president/pm) became our patient.
pag nkikipagkwentuhan ako sa kanila sobrang liit lang daw ng country and population nila.pagnagka patient ulit ako interviewhin ko sila mabuti so i can share more inputs here.

i called up Pacific Flier, wala pa daw advise from their main office about re-operation of their palau flights. sayang
