Hi doc she, my grandmther on father side died og breast cancer at mid 30s ata.  Am i at high risk? Though i have a regular breast US Since aug 2012, every 6 months. Laging birads category 3. Ngayon ko nalaman na dapat pala sa surgeon papakita result. Sa OB ko lang pina pa interpret yung result.

Sky- breast cancer is genetically transmitted. Since your grandmother has it then you are at risk . Best to be more careful and diligent in following up with your surgeon. Remember, early detection is better .

ayrise, try cardinal santos. P3,500 yung package nila for mammo and ultrasound. You need doctor's order and by appointment sila.

Got my Breast Ultrasound result last saturday. My OB referred me to Breast Surgeon. Meron kasi cyst nakita sa left breast ko. I'm in category 3, probably benign. Meron po ba kayo ma susuggest na doctor na accredited sa medicard? St Lukes BGC sana.

I had breast ultrasound monday last week and results say BIRADS category 2. Our company doctor recommends to consult with a surgeon to check if need to remove the mass since it's quite large and our family has a history of cancer. My eldest sister died of colorectal cancer and grandmother at my mother's side naman of ovarian cancer.

Do you know of a breast surgeon in st luke's global city that is also accredited by intellicare? What is the downtime for removal of the lump? I was told that it's going to be an outpatient procedure only.

hi doc she.... i am 26 yrs old a mother of 1.. last month [textspeak!] po doc my nkapa ako na bukol s [textspeak!] side ng breast ko,there are [textspeak!] na hnd ko cya mkapa but minsan dn meron, im using althea pill for almost 1 yr na and then lastb [textspeak!] sinubukan ko [textspeak!] ibang brand ng pills which is hnd ako nahiyang then hnd ko pa natapos ang pack na un tinigil ko na at bumalk sa athlea ko,dun [textspeak!] po ng start n nkakapa ako ng bukol s breast ko then medyu na delayd nga [textspeak!] regla ko since na hnd ko na natpos ang pack ng pills ko but then bumlk ako s althea dumtng ang regla ko,my bukol parn ako n nkapa, if im us9ing my althea pills my kabigatn sa dib2 .. [textspeak!] po dapt ko gwain.. there arae tyms na napaprning ako kc [textspeak!] in-law ko is my breast cancer..

Cobaltzblack- the best thing to do is have yourself checked by a Surgeon for oeace of mind. A Breast ultrasound may be advised for you.

^hi doc she, joining the thread, buti na lang meron kami sis dito na we can consult for free . Anyways last week nagpa-APE ako ang sabi ng doctor meron daw siya nakakapa sa left breast ko pero hindi siya siya sure kaya she requested me to have the ultrasound. Question dapat ba breast surgeon ko ito padouble check? Or puede na OB? Kasi meron naman ako monthly check up every cd8 - cd10 dahil din sa follicle monitoring. May idea po ba kayo how much cost ng breast ultrasound? Thanks

just a general question - if an Ultrasound or Mammogram was done last March 2014 valid pa din ba yun till now? if magpapacheck up using those those test results as basis? Papa interpret ko kasi sana yung result ng mammogram at ultrasound ng mom ko and also check up for her na ren.

Onlytechgirl- better to have your breast checked by a Surgeon because breast and its diseases belongs to the surgeon and not the OB gyn.

Question Doc She, may irritation kasi yung right nipple ko nagstart sya nung summer pa, as in sobrang kati nya tas nagfeflaky sya, then nung nag pa check-up ako wala naman daw lump sabe nung OB then  niresetahan nya lang ako ng ointment to soothe itchiness daw, that was few mos ago, to date pabalik balik pa din sya kahit araw araw ko ginagamit yung med, any kaya to?

Better to have it checked by a surgeon to examine it further. Was a breast ultrasound done on you?
