hi! gaya ng sabi ko dati ko dati, may nakapa sa left breast ko nung ng annual physical exam kami. last saturday nakapag breast ultrasound na ako. thanked God at negative naman ang result. 2 ang nag check sa akin, yung staff dun at yung department head nila. good thing din na nakuha ko agad ang result kasi nandun yung magbabasa (department head) kaya ready agad ang result.

sabi nung department head na mas accurate daw ang ultrasound kesa sa kapa. so sa ngayon di na dapat ako mag worry kahit pag minsan sumasakit ang breast ko? ok lang din ba magpa breast ultrasound yearly para macheck kung may cyst or lump?

dapat talaga yearly sis ang pagpapa-ultrasound...ako nga minsan every 3-6 months depende kung kelan ako makauwi ng pilipinas, there's no harm naman in doing that.

Momai- not just breast ultrasound, you also need to be examined by a surgeon to check your breast and Axilla.

momai, I have a few friends (at dif times & w/ dif doctors) who had ultrasound and mammogram done, and breast manual exam done, and findings were officially "benign" but...
(1) one who had breast pain for 4 years later did find out she had breast cancer but since she already shifted to a strict seafood & vegetarian and low-salt diet, the pain & lumps eventually disappeared
(2) another decided to go to a chinese doctor in binondo who allowed her to eat only fish & vegetables, and gave her herbal teas to drink. After months of dieting, her breast lumps (& lumps in the ovaries) got smaller
(3) another girl (both her parents died of cancer so she didn't trust doctors anymore--her words not mine) decided to be purely vegetarian. in fact she'd eat only brocolli. her breast lumps all diminished after many months of dieting.
(4) another was having breast pain; decided on her own to cut out meat completely from her diet; now she tells me the breast pains disappeared.

all I can say then is that "benign" medical exam results are not fully trustworthy. play safe. eat healthy food. cancer cells love creatin which comes from meat.

July 26- it all depends on the kind of breast masses you have. If its a cyst then it will eventually disappear by itself after awhile even without any special diet. This is all hormonal and breast cancer is still genetic.

hi doc she! meron po akong bukol na nakakapa sa right breast ko, pati na din po sa part na malapit sa right ua ko pati na din po sa left ribs ko na nasa parteng kaliwa din sa ilalim. nagkaron din po ako sa bandang likod na katapat nung bukol sa ribs pero nawala. halos sabay lang po yung sa ribs at sa likod pero yung asa likod lang po ang nawala. nagkaron din po ako sa bandang taas ng chest, baba ng collarbone pero nawala po sya, as in lumabas ng kusa. tanong ko lang po, whats my next step? magpapabreast ultrasound pa po ba ako or surgeon na po agad?

pls help po. thank you po.

pahelp naman po ako kasi meron pong tumubo na bukol sa ilalim ng left breast ko, parang taba nga lang po sya kng titignan, hindi naman po sya masakit, mejo malambot lang din po sya, kaya lang nagaalala lang po ako kasi kng taba lang eto bakit sa right side wala, hindi pantay.Halos 1 week palang naman po eto, wala naman po kami history ng breast cancer at wala din naman po ako bukol sa mismong breast eh, don lang po talaga sa ilalim.TIA po..

Hi DocShe! Good day po may friend po ako, nagpa breast ultrasound siya tapos pinabasa niya sa company doctor yung result. may cysts sa breasts pero benign daw. alala kO po sabi niyo ganun nga, it will eventually disappear lalo na sa age bracket namin na wala pang 30years old, as long as hindi sha mass. pero may malapit po sa UA niya, parang lump po siya, ang sabi kelangan daw tanggalin yung pus nun. outpatient po ba yun DocShe and if ever po, mga how much po ang rate nun? Kasi wala raw siyang health card. Thank you po in advance

Hi Doc she, patulong nman my tumubo kc sa nipple sa boobs ng ate ko ko para syang tagyawat pero ndi naman daw sya makate and nothing even pain.. before my nakapa n syang ko bukol sa suso pero sabi ng Dr. benign lang nman dw un .. and eto bigla my tumubo nga sa nipple nya.

Blushydamsel- it's not a breast mass but might be hydradenitis suppurativa which may be caused by infection. Depends on where she plans to have the procedure done but sometimes we can do it at the clinic on an out patient basis to cut cost.

Dbratz- I suggest that you have it checked by a surgeon to fully examine it.

Greenaholic- ok there are a lot of female surgeon in manila who can check your breast if you're not comfortable having it checked by a male surgeon.
