this also bothers me as  well. i experience pain in my left breast, pero when i check wala naman siyang lumps, pero i wanna seek medical help pa rin. oddly, when i went to my OB, sabi niya, ang mina-mammogram lang daw eh yung mga 30+, eh 28 pa lang ako. meron bang mga ibang doctor diyan who can have me checked kasi im bothered talaga eh.

Bravehearteagle- 1. You're tita will be undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy probably because the tumor is very big and your doctor wants to downsize and down grade the tumor before surgery can be done.
                          2. Chemo medicine prices will depend on the medicine your doctor will be using, the number of cycles and place where you will get the chemo done. It may be as little as 6,00 to as high as 40,000 per cycle.
                             Before chemo, she will be asked to take blood exams like CBC , sgot, sgpt, alkaline phospatase as baseline to check for the Liver and bone. 2 d echo and ECG and chest X-ray may also be requested.
                          3. Again Radiation therapy will also depend in the place where it will be done but usually it's around 2,000 - 4,000 per session.

                         4. Preparation prior to chemo- blood and diagnostic test. She should be eating healthy in preparation for her chemo.
   
                         5. Hairloss, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, no appetite but she is still advised to take small frequent feeding to prevent her from getting weak during chemo.

Nessy- just want to clarify that it is the surgeon who examines and treat breast and it's diseases and not the OB Gyn. better to have it checked for peace of mind. There are a lot of female surgeons if that is one of your concerns. Mammo may not be for you because you are still too young but a Breast ultrasound may be appropriate.

Hi po again Docshe! ask lang po ako ng opinion nyo.. last year August nagpacheck ako sa surgeon kasi may nakapa ako lump sa right breast ko, tapos may nakapa pa siya na isa pang lump. he advised me na magpa ultrasound pero negative ang lumabas sa results pero nakakapa yung mga lumps. he prescribed me dalzen tablets na itatake for 1week after ng mens. pero until now may mga lumps parin, hindi nagbabago ang size from the time na nakapa ko sila. he asked me kung gusto ko na ipaalis para mas safe daw kasi pwedeng benign ngayon pero after ilang months or years pwedeng maging masamang lump na. should i have the lumps removed na po ba? please help po.

Emkeiaree- first would like to ask where the ultrasound was done? It's really dependent on the machine and the technician doing the ultrasound. If its really clear or negative then it may be your breast tissue. Some people have modular breast which on palpating may feel like a lump when in fact it's your harmless breast tissue. For the surgery, I don't think you need to take out anything if it's really not seen on ultrasound. A breast mass once benign will always be benign. If its cancer from the start then that's cancer. If there's any suspicious masses then that's the one I would biopsy . Hope you understand.

I just had my ultrasound done po in a clinic here sa pampanga, im not sure if thats enough or do i need to have it done again po sa ibang clinic para makasigurado? Docshe pwede po pa PM where yung clinic nyo and your sched po? Thank you.

Emkaiaree- it would depend on the quality of the ultrasound film which was given to you together with the report? Not that I am saying that pampanga has poor quality machine. Don't get me wrong. . Better to have it personally checked by a surgeon for peace of mind.

Hi! ask ko lang kung posible ba na magka Breast cancer ka kung di ka nagpa Breastfeed sa baby mo?kasi di ako nagpa Breastfeed sa first baby ko..nagka Post Partum Depression kasi ako mahabang kwento..pero yun nga,pag di agad nagpa breastfeed magkaka Cancer ka agad?what if di na ako makakapa breastfeed kung di na magka anak uli.?Ty po

Hi mga sis and doc! Medyo off-topic itong question ko pasensya na. Baka lang may idea kayo kung ano ito.

Ano po ba itong feeling na may "stuffiness" sa armpit when it is in its resting place as in shoulders down, arms relaxed pero feel ko may "thickening" of skin sa armpit ko? Pag kinakapa ko naman yung kilikili ko, wala naman talagang bukol.. My last mens was on May 4. Sa hormone ko ba ito?

Nagpapahid kasi ako ng calamansi sa kilikili as my organic deodorant na rin pero nagkasugat sugat yung area na pinahiran ko kaya tinigil ko na. Sa pawis at init ba ito? I have it since March pa.

Litr- our breast tissue has an axillary tail which extends to the armpit. That maybe the case. However, it's better to have it checked for peace of mind.

help please. mga 3 days before ako magkaron, my tumubo na nana (pimple type) malapit sa breast ko. tapos after 2 days, natuyo. then nagkaron ako last June 1, and my tumubo ulit nana.. sobra sakit. may nakaexperience na ba nito? or effect lang to dahil sa menstruation ko? thanks
