^sabe nila dito wala namang diff ang tourist visa sa visit visa.. pero 1month kayo so sa consulate nalang sis kung nagiissue naman sila need lang ni husband magpunta personally and present the documents needed. cheaper way din yun kasi may patong sa agency saka baka mahirapan ka din makalabas. (ganun kasi nangyari sa friend ko)

thanks sis , yun din naisip ko na may agency but not mostly... na namemeke ng docs lalo pag nalaman wala din idea si hubby about processing ng visa , so sabi ko sa consulate na lang at least sigurado pa , sis yung mga IOs hanapan pa ba kami red ribbon na birth at marriage cert or ok na yung nso lang? kelangan din ba bank statement at credit cards ? sa palagay mo sis di ba kami gigisahin sa IO dahil sa reason namin na 1 month vacation pero tourist visa or dapat visit visa na lang, magtravel lang kami at vacation at the same time wala ako balak mag tnt hehe ... tsaka malaki ba chances na makalusot kami pag may RT tickets na din at kasabay din namin si hubby sa pag uwi dahil sa annual vacation nya? what you think mga sis ?

^As i've said from the next posts after that a news came out that they (IO's) "consider agency issued visa & asg as fake documents" FYI: ang nirered-ribbon lang ay yung affidavit of support and guarantee, dati naman wala daw to pero ngayon kailangan na.

Sa nangyare samen AGENCY issued yung visa namen. Sa ASG kame nagkaproblema (agency issued din kasi nung una) kaya kumuha yung sponsors namen ULIT from the consulate itself na. (yes, doble gastos to) Accdg to the IO's receipt palang and seal makikita na ang difference so okay sige naiwan na ng airplane yung friend ko kaya hinayaan nalang.

re: birth and marriage certificates ipepresent ni hubby yan sa consulate kaya pagdating ng visa sayo naka-attach na yan along with the passport copies.

re: bank statement and CC, I only brought my CC just incase they question me regarding my capacity to spend pero hindi naman na nila tinanong/hinanap kung may CC ako (and i think bawal or offensive to) naging helpful nadin na may RT ako na business class

gigisahin ka lang naman sis kung halatang nagsisinungaling ka at kulang ang documents mo, other than that wala kang dapat alalahanin and yes RT tickets is a MUST and dagdag points yan na kasabay niyo si hubby paguwi.

Info about the difference of Tourist Visa and Visit Visa (accdg to the knowledge of my friends here, clarify niyo mga sis kung may mali)

Tourist Visa - is issued to allow the person to stay for 30 to 60 days maximum. After that you should exit the country for at least 30days to be able to get a new/extension visa (requirements: passport copies of the passenger | sponsor's passport and residence visa | birth and marriage certificates)

Visit Visa - is issued only to immediate family members which allows them to stay until the partner has the right to stay (requirements: dito hindi ako 100% sure pero hindi mawawala to - passport copies of the passenger | sponsor's passport and residence visa | birth and marriage certificates. Mostly din daw ina-apply to with the help of the company kasi may "bracket" na daw to ng income tapos kailangang red ribbon lahat ng docs)

^sis me bago na bang requirements ngayon? last year kasi nung kinuhanan ng visit visa (direct from DNRD) ni hubby ang daughter namin at both parents ko, passport copies lang ni require pati sa daughter namin. di ko lang alam pag wife kung hihingan ng marriage certificate.

para sa mga IO naman natin, meron kami affidavit of support from our consulate. separate yung sa daughter namin tyaka yung sa parents ko.

^sis wala akong masyadong alam sa visit visa other than the info given by my friends.. but maybe hubby has a good salary (they refer as bracket) thats why passport copies lang.. pero weird sure ka walang birth certificate? tinitignan ng IO yan lalo kung relative and for the marriage certificate as well.

^sis sa IO sa atin me dalang birth certificate ang daughter namin tyaka yung clearance form DSWD + POA + ASG nga, pero sa pagkuha dito ng visit visa, di na hiningi birth certificate nya.
yung sa marriage cert di ko sure kasi pareho kami andito ni hubby. nung first time nya ko kinuha, through agency din pero di pa masyado mahigpit that time, 2005. ngayon kasi pa iba iba sila ng rules.

^masyado na sila maselan ngayon. dati kahit friend mo lang pwede mo sponsor as long as pasok sa bracket swedlo mo. ngayon, immediate family lang talaga. pero yun sa mga parents ko last year lang yun kinuhanan sila ng visa ng mister ko.

Global village is not that expensive din Sis.  Not sure now ha, pero before I think if I remember correctly 5 dirhams lang binayad namin.

Just went to visit (for the 2nd time) Miracle Garden kase I had to show a friend around.  Nice sya.  lalo na now that the weather is nice.

^ mura lang entrance sa Global Village. Mapapagastos ka lang kung mamimili ka sa bazaar, sa food and kung magra-rides. Otherwise, kung picture-picture and nood lang ng shows, entrance lang magagastos.

On visas and IO, share ko lang experiences ko travelling on both tourist and visit visas.

Way back 2010 (4th Q), hubby and I left the Philippines together. Employment visa si hubby, visit visa ako. Wala masyadong hiningi ang IO sa NAIA 1. Passports and visa printouts lang pinakita namin, tsaka OEC ni hubby. Binigay namin confirmed booking sa serviced apartment, pero binalik agad ng IO after one glance. Wala kami hawak na Affidavit of Support (baka new requirement lang to?). Pati marriage certificate di kami hiningan, siguro kasi naka-indicate naman sa visit visa ko name ng sponsor, which is si husband nga.. sa visa ni husband, nakalagay company name as sponsor. Pero me dala kami NSO marriage certificate to be sure. me binook din na return ticket for me since visit visa nga lang ako, pero di rin hinanap. Di ko na rin nagamit return ticket kasi nakapag-change na within a week to residence visa si hubby, then sinunod na din agad iprocess ng PRO nila yung residence visa ko.

Prior to the trip above, about 1.5months prior, we went to Dubai on tourist visas naman. we stayed for 2weeks. Ang hinanap lang ng IO sa amin aside from passports e yung visa printouts and return tickets. Sponsored ng hotel yung tourist visas namin so we showed our hotel booking na din.. bi-nrowse lang ni IO. Tinanong din purpose ng travel, so sinabi namin na husband's on a business trip at sinama nya ako so I can tour around on my own and so we can sightsee together on weekends and during his free time. Hirit lang ng IO: "sir babantayan kayo ng asawa nyo dun ha, sabay ngiti". Tumawa na lang din kami.

^ah i see, nagpapasama kasi ako sa friend ko kaso napaka-conflict ng schedule and yun nga sabe may mga certain fee's kaya nagseseek ako sa mga nakapunta na.

my friend was sponsored by his brother last Feb 2012 and may ASG na nun.. tourist visa din.. IMO as long as relative/immediate family walang hassle and if frequent traveler ka bonus na.

ako nun tanong lang saken ng IO sinong pupuntahan mo? pano kayo naging magpinsan then ok stamp na.

sa miracle garden 20aed Sis .  Sunday kami pumunta Sis nung long holiday dito. Matao pero ok naman keri lang. Maganda pumunta around 3pm-5pm para hindi mainit pero maliwanag pa.  Within 2 hours nalibot at nakapagpicture na kami sa lahat ng pwedeng pagpicturan LOL!

dun sa global village 4yrs ago pa ata yun yung sinasabi kong 5dirhams entrance. hindi naman siguro sila magtataas ng sobra sobra if ever.  I will ask around bukas sa office how much entrance sa global village.

ang mahal yung sa wild wadi at atlantis water parks talaga kase 5 star hotel chains ang may ari nyan.

^ sis, true. namamahalan ako sa Wadi at Atlantis. nakapunta na ko ng Atlantis, once. pero mga 3pm na kame dumating so di na ko nagswimming. sa Wild Wadi gusto ko din makapunta pero waley pa time. may friend ako na may discount sa Atlantis, pero weekdays dapat para 50 ang bayad lang.

hindi pa ko nakakapunta ng global village. tinatamad ako! haha. di ko naman type ang miracle garden, iilang klase ng bulaklak lang kasi.

^ sis, lage ako niyayaya ni hubby pumunta ng global village ngayon, kasi medyo malamig na. i prefer to watch series than go out. feeling ko pareho tayo. LOL.

btw, sa mga mahilig sa Japanese food, try Katsuya! yuummmm! sa Dubai mall, sa pwesto dati ng Dean & Deluca!

wild wadi ang mahal talaga eh buti pa Atlantis may discount. Actually ngayon may promo din naman para sa mga resident na 175 ata or 125 pero 50 is cheaper kung may kakilala. Hehe! Parang Ferrari World lang na from 240 entrance naging 35 nalang tapos add 15 kasama na Yas Island.

Saka anlamig nadin kahit sa hapon! Haha!

Miracle Garden at 2hrs? Hmm.. Sobra kaya expectation ko dito.. Err... Bukas baka puntahan ko.

Pano ba pumunta ng global village via metro or bus or taxi?
