Yung sponsorship, questionable ba kapag hindi same last name yung magsponsor sayo? Yung magsponsor kasi sa akin sana is family friend namin, well super close talaga parang sister ko pero hindi nga kami related.

Or kuha na lang ako ng sarili kong visa through airlines or agencies?

sis yung visa ko for my trip last week pinaayos namin sa hotel namin, sa sofitel. Fee was AED500, then may refundable deposit na AED5000. No hassle, passport & photo lang sinend ko.

Hi sis, when we were there, we went to the following:
- Desert Safari : Camel ride and nakakahilong desert ride pero fun!
- Burj Al Arab (We had breakfast here)
- Burj Khalifa - Yung Tallest building.
- We took the helicopter tour. Ang ganda tignan ng Palm Islands from above
- We took the tour that covered: Jumeira Beach, Mga local houses/village, Dubai Museum,
- Atlantis
- Jumeirah Madinat Souq : Dito ako nakabili ng ilang pasalubong and meron short boat ride diyan. Meron din spot dito na makikita Burj Al Arab.
- Dubai Mall : Favorite kong puntahan. Meron dancing fountains pero hindi ako natuwa hehe
- At maraming malls

We were there for 10days. It was just enough. Enjoy!

Thanks sis! Just got back from dubai, went to the malls, jumeirah beach, burj khalifa, madinat souk. di na kami pumasok sa burj al arab, tamang picture picture lang from 360 bar outside hehe..enjoy din

hi, is it cheaper to have a friend sponsor your visa than getting it directly from a travel agency?

^sis kahit friend mo pa ang magsponsor sayo depende yon kung ipapasok niya sa agency. depende kasi sa rates nang airline yung magiging package mo sa agency eh (if anong airline mo pati) Kasi ang laki nang difference nung sponsor ako nang friend ko at nung ako nagsponsor sa hubby ko both yon pinasok sa agency same agency pero mga nasa 1900 aed ang difference. Yung iba rin kasi, mga sis hindi ako naninira ha...pero yung iba namomorsyento like kunyari may friend ako ako magsponsor  imbis na 3000aed lang magiging 4000aed kasi akin yung 1k aed. gets? hindi naman lahat pero ang daming ganyan cases dito eh.

Example,  manila to sg, stay mga 2 days dun then sg-dubai.. then ang exit ko is dubai- bkk?

^ sis sa pagkakaalam ko pwede ata as long as you have your iti and tickets, hotel reservations with you. Para kung ano man hanapin eh ok lang at may papakita ka. Plus dala ka nang mga company ID or approved leave form mo if you are working.

ah yung question ko pala dun is kailangan pa ba ng hotel reservation sa dubai if ang visa ko naman is sponsor ng friend ko. Or pwede ko na lang ideclare na since inisponsor niya ako, dun din ako magstay sa place nia?

Actually, Abu dhabi yung friend ko kaso dito na ako nagtatanong kasi wala na akong ibang mapagkuhanan ng comments/ tips. Thank you so much mga sis

Old Souk.  dun ako namimili ng mga pasalubong.  scarf, bumbay bags, the typical souvenir na ref magnet, keychain.  don't buy ng mga pasalubong sa mall, mahal dun.  kaya ako suki ng old souk

@purplefire, good to hear na nag enjoy kayo! Nakalimutan ko banggitin na naging favorite ko ang humus because of dubai. Ibang iba ang lasa doon compared dito sa SG. Naka try ka ba? Where do you normally eat? Kami sa food court sa mall which we find a bit expensive. Bulk ng gastos namin talaga napunta sa food

entwife sa emirates ako nag-apply, i didn't even send them a copy of the hotel reservation. I guess because may exit ticket naman ako. If agency, i dont have experience with UAE but with some of my visa application sa ibang country na nakitira ako sa friend ko, letter of invite lang from a friend plus proof ng bahay nya (ie lease agreement if nagre-rent) ang sinusubmit ko. i'd assume ganyan din sa UAE. you dont need hotel naman all the time to travel.

on a separate note regarding your multi-trip, san ka based - thailand? kase you need a return ticket to your home country to travel.

nope, philippine based ako.. I just think na if fail man ang pagpunta ko ng uae, magtour na lang muna ako ng thai before umuwi ng philippines. If successful naman ang trip ko to uae, at least nakamura ako ng exit ticket. Ang mahal kasi ng ticket direct from uae to phil eh. i saw tcikets to thai na mga 10-12k lang as compared to philippines na abot ng 20k.

Unless, need ko talaga ng exit ticket from uae going back to my home country. Hindi ba possible yun? kunwari im on asian tour? haha

Kami din thru Emirates nag apply for a visa (Singapore based kami). We bought round trip tickets from them. I don't remember them requiring any other documents from us.

entwife ah, ok lang naman exit ng Dubai is to Thailand basta may ticket ka going home, from BKK to Manila, akala ko last part na ng ticket mo is BKK. 

Make sure lang na you have nga all the documents kase baka tanungin ka din ng immigration sa pinas. kami dati bakasyon with family to SG, dahil wala kaming hotel reservation at walang copy ng resident ID ng kapatid ko sa SG, ang dami pang tanong sa amin. mas strict pa sila compared to the SG immigration.

masasabi ko lang mga sis bring the documents needed at least handa and my proof. Alam niyo naman ang IO sa Pinas pipigain ka, medyo may point naman kasi sila. Kaya para mas masaya at less hassle maging handa.

Pansin ko lang din if hindi ka super long stay sa UAE no need hotel reservations pero if long I think positive yung dating na dapat my flat dito yung friend mo. feeling ko lang. iba iba kasi ang trip ng IO eh.
