Take note though, that the info above were based nung nag-apply kami for my inlaws.. di ko sure if updated to. check with the agency na lang for updated details. I think hindi naman required na sa kanila ka magpabook ng hotel or airfare. Kung sakali man, baka lang they'd need to do a mock booking for your hotel for visa applicaion purposes siguro. Check with them na lang. Early 2012 pa kasi namin to nagamit. Take note also na sarado ang Dubai office pag Fridays.

Yes pwede. You can only apply for a visa at your country of residence. If say you are working and is a
legal resident of singapore or hk, then you may apply for a visa at singapore or hk and the philippines since
you are a Filipino. Pero kung tour tour ka lang hindi ka pwede mag apply ng kahit anong visa sa ibang country na hindi ka resident.

what about the 14-day visa? Pwede ba yun for us, who will only be in dubai for 7 days? kasi we will not be there to look for work pero as tourists lang talaga.... more than 8K din pala yung sa travel agency na visa

Hi sis, when we were there, we went to the following:
- Desert Safari : Camel ride and nakakahilong desert ride pero fun!
- Burj Al Arab (We had breakfast here)
- Burj Khalifa - Yung Tallest building.
- We took the helicopter tour. Ang ganda tignan ng Palm Islands from above
- We took the tour that covered: Jumeira Beach, Mga local houses/village, Dubai Museum,
- Atlantis
- Jumeirah Madinat Souq : Dito ako nakabili ng ilang pasalubong and meron short boat ride diyan. Meron din spot dito na makikita Burj Al Arab.
- Dubai Mall : Favorite kong puntahan. Meron dancing fountains pero hindi ako natuwa hehe
- At maraming malls

We were there for 10days. It was just enough. Enjoy!

My parents and I plan to go to Dubai in August. I've already search for a budget hotel and low-cost airline coming from Kuwait. Our only problem is how to get a visa. The hotel haven't replied to me yet when I inquired if they do visa assistance. Hay. Are nurses in GCC countries included in the 'visa-on-arrival' list?

H i mag sis. Plan to visit Dubai/ Abu Dhabi in January. Plan to visit lang but does not really closing the doors of maybe finding an employment.

For the visa, kailangan pa ba ng sponsor or you can just ask agencies, hotels and airlines to process it?

What do you think ang mas madali?

You can ask emirates to process it for you if you will be flying with them. I know 4 to 5 star hotels
do sponsoring too.

Our first visit in Dubai in November 2010 - Crowne Plaza Hotel (Sheikh Zayed Rd) processed our 14-day tourist visas. I'm not sure lang how much, si hubby kasi nag-coordinate nun..

When my in-laws visited us nung 2012, pinaayos namin sa agency ang visas nila. I posted the details in one of my posts above. Please backread na lang.

How much yung binayaran niyo sa kanila nun? I mean aside from the Visa fee, may agency fee pa ba?

And passport lang talaga ang need? Bakit sa airlines parang kailngan pa ng mga bank statement and stuff.

^ last year, fee was DHS700 - visa, agency fee and courier charges na sa pagkakaalala ko. And yes, clear colored scanned copy lang ng passport nila in-laws ang hiningi.

I suggest get in touch with them, through email or tawag ka sa Manila office nila. Baka din kasi di na updated yung mga nai-share kong info. Para mas sigurado.

Info lang for the emirates visa fee - I paid USD76.66 in total (this was last October 2012). USD57 for visa fee, USD17.50 for service fee and USD2.16 for VAT. Valid for two months ang visa na binigay sa akin.

I submitted my payslip pero i know this was part of the optional documents. You can submit up to four optional documents to support your visa application.

Ah. Looks cheaper pag sa emirates ka nagpaprocess ng visa. Kaso sobrang mahal naman ng ticket nila for January. Abot 50k balikan. 

Musta ang job hunting sa Dubai/ Abu Dhabi ngayon mga sis. Open pa rin ba for foreign workers? Medical/ Admin field.

mahal talaga ang flights pag november till february. Usually yan ang uwi ng OFW sa Middle east.
Try Etihad, I know they offer visa services too. Usually mas mura fares nila than Emirates.

Yep mas mura sa Etihad especially if you know someone working there. Winter kasi yun kaya mahal maraming tourists and sale kaya mahal.

Ang job hunting ngayon sa tingin ko lang ay sobrang hirap. I have this 2 Flatmates, 2 months stayed but then failed to have a job. I have a cousin pa nga he extended his visa I think 2x? matumal ata ang hiring ngayon sabi ng flatmate ko better daw during winter.
