at meron din po me ask..

yung 88 promo ng airphil puwede kaya i cancel mga sis? marerefund kaya yun? kc na double booking ako eh.. nakakainis hindi ko naman kc ni-submit yung una eh tapos pag check ko email ko 2 yung flight...kakainis talaga! meron din kaya charge for no show?

meron na ba ng same experience sa akin...
i know naman talaga non-refundable siya pero naman noh its not my fault...ang t**** ko naman to book for two flights in the same day and same destination..

i tried calling them na nga eh 30 minutes nako sa phone ala pa din sumasagot...hay...antay antay

airphilexpress cust service sobrang hirap tumawag, and lahat NO. No refund, No cancellation, No Re-route. Only option is to rebook which will cost you more.

Share ko lang yun experience ko sa Airphil recently.  We went to Boracay.  Akala ko PAL Express yun flight kasi PR yun simula ng plane number.  Only to find out airphil pala.  Napansin ko agad na ang bagal nila as compared to Phil Airlines sa pag process ng boarding pass, considering na sister company sila ni PAL.  Tapos ang Airphil lagi may delay.  Flight namin going was delayed by 1 hour. Pauwi naman, kinancel nila yun flight namin plus 2 other flights sa hapon from Caticlan to Manila kasi bad zero visibility daw and told all of us to go to Kalibo.  that was around 3pm pa lang.  what was strange was bakit may dumating at umalis pa na cebupac if zero visibility.  we suspect they're managing cost kasi mura mag desptach ng isang airbus to take all of us back to manila, instead of despatching 3 smaller planes.  kaya instead na 5pm ako nakarating, 8 PM na kami nakarating sa manila.  ang gulo nila.  sobrang inconvenience. buti na lang wala kaming kasamang bata.   kaya di muna kami pupunta sa boracay until matapos yun bagong airport.

went to Puerto Princesa last friday via airphilexpress and the flight was delayed by an hour but going back to manila yesterday the flight was only delayed for about 20-30 mins. it wasn't much of a hassle for us since we didn't wait that long and we kept ourselves busy with some work and some readings. The experience with airphilexpress was ok but there's still room for improvements regarding making their flights on time

Bakit ganun na ang airphil noh? Dati lagi airphil kami, 3 years ago lagi na kami cebu pac pero since okay din ang sale ng airphil tinry ko ulit.

Ngayon lang ako umuwi ng iloilo na nadelay flight ko. Waiting na lang kami for boarding, pinalipat pa kami ng boarding gate.

lagi delay ang airphil? mata-try ko pa lang siya next year dahil sa na-avail naming promo. sana mas maging maayos yung flights nila para mas maraming sumakaty sa kanila. sayang kasi ang oras pag ganun.

sobra lugi talaga especially if you're vacation is 3d, 2n lang.  i know a friend na dapat 3d 2n sila sa legazpi.  dapat 9AM ang flight nila.  na delay until 3 or 4 pm na at sila nakalipad from Manila. So 1 day gone and wasting waiting at the airport.  i'm not sure if all these delays are because of the ongoing issues of PAL with the pilots etc.

2P sucks. BCD- MNL delayed for one hour.

parang sanay na sanay mga tao dito sa pinas na delayed ang flight. when i went to bacolod all the other airline were delayed too. 5J, ZA... tapos wala lang sa mga tao. sanay na. bad service but what do you expect really from a low cost carrier. bugbog sarado mga aircraft and crew kaya ayan na dedelay.

Sorry, I don't have time to backread. Is the actual c/c used for payment online needed to be presented upon check in or would the photocopy suffice? I am sending my yaya home for Christmas tomorrow. TIA!

^sis, just send a photocopy with a note saying you purchased the ticket for your yaya. That's what I do with our Manang para walang hassle at the check-in counter.

kamusta byahe ng airphil manila-tagbilaran, nadedelay ba? i booked my parents for this weekend flight, both senior citizens eh medyo worried lang ako kasi silang 2 lang bbyahe.  first time nila mag-airphil, lagi kasi silang PAL.

basta pag low cost expect delays. kasi gamit na gamit yan aircraft nila and they usually do 4-6 sector flights na straight so isang ma delay lang, delay na buong sched for the whole day. unless habulin ng capitan. eh wala naman sense of time masyado dito sa pilipinas.

^I'd like to correct you lang when it comes to delays ha. Mali kasi yung impression na porket low cost carrier, delay agad ang translation. Not all the time kasalanan ng airline na magkaroon ng delay mapa low cost or full service carrier ka pa. Maraming factors bakit nade-delay ang mga flights. One of the most common causes are air traffic and weather. So pag na-delay yung flight automatic na maging domino effect na yan with the rest of the other flights.  Of course ibang usapan kung kulang yung airline ng manpower/flight crew like what is happening to PAL right now. Yun kasalanan na ng management ng airline.

You're right na gamit na gamit ang eroplano but this is true for ALL carriers. It is more expensive keeping the aircraft on the ground. Kaya dapat talaga maximise ang gamit sa eroplano. Yun naman ang primary purpose nun eh.

As to sense of time, this may be true for most folks here particularly  passengers na walang pakialam kung ma-delay nya eroplano (my pet peeve!). But for the airline industry in general kasama na si low cost carrier, any delays translate to loss of revenue. So in short the airline will always try to minimise their delays. Once again that is true for both low cost carrier and full service carriers.

just an update: my parents left manila this morning. tagbilaran bound sila. kahit umuulan today hindi daw delayed flight and ok naman yung byahe nila. both senior citizens sila. next time na may promo, we'll avail airphil ulit

I took airphilexpress the first time earlier last Dec2010 going to Caticlan. And I must say mas better sila, imo. Hindi sila delayed. Very on time the fact that they used the same plane na kadadating lang. When I entered the aircraft, malinis and friendly and crews.
