Ellana naman, wala akong problema sa service nila.. maganda pa may paypal sila so very convenient talaga.

Sana lahat ng make-up brands ganun! :P First impression ko is mas okay yung Ellana, ang dami kasing positive reviews..unlike sa Barenaturals ang daming negative feedback sa service nila.

I bought some more Ellana products at their stall in SM Manila yesterday. =] Bought their 5 pc. brush set (ang lambot!), brush cleaner, liquid primer, and small size ng intensive coverage na french vanilla latte. Sana hiyang! I tried naman the brush cleaner earlier, easy clean!

I bought the ellana flat top brush yesterday at sm megamall. I'm a little disappointed na walang pouch kasi sa brochure nila this comes with a pouch pero sabi ng sales lady dun naubusan na. Anyway, so when i got home hinugasan ko siya with some top to toe wash ng around 6pm and up to now (11:30am the next day) may pagkawet pa yung sa may lower part, yung malapit sa handle. The brush kasi is so dense kaya siguro ganoon. Sisses how did you dry your FTB? Gaano katagal bago natuyo?

Hi girls, what's a good finishing powder to buy from Ellana? :) I generally use their premium blend, medium with beige undertones, basta the darkest shade in the beige category. But I'm switching to liquid foundation kasi, and my foundation is kind of too tan. So the SA recommended na I buy a finishing powder that's pale yellow/a bit lighter than my usual tan powder to even it out. What can you recommend?

@iwannabeasupermodel, in line with washing your brush, how did you dry it ba?  Did you wrinkle out the excess water?  Its supposed to be air dried, lying flat in a towel/microfibre cloth, after you have remove excess water.  If pwede yung bristles part, medyo left hanging sa edge ng table or sink, it would dry faster.  But since its been raining the past few days, matagal mag dry.  Brushes washed the day before, usually dries the following morning.

No liquid foundation ang ellana.  But you can try mixing it with water or with your moisturizer.  Or use their superb liquid primer for more lasting effect!

^sis feel ko nga factor din yung weather dito. kaso i dont think i can lay hanging sa edge ng table kasi maliit lang FTB ng ellana. sana nga may malaki eh.

what i do na talaga is the wet application of ellana and i use evian mist as my water. ok naman. :) so since i'll be doing this, i'm thinking of purchasing another brush, though i'm thinking if yung baby kabuki or another FTB. pero maganda talaga effect sa FTB. :)

nga pala, i'm planning to buy an ellana primer (what i use now is V&M's liquid primer). the one i'm using now kasi, after like mga 4 hours nagsisink in na sa large pores ko yung make-up. so ano mas maganda? the liquid or the sheer velvet primer? i'm thinking the powder primer nga kasi so that that powder will first fill in my pores instead of the foundation.

and at the end of the day i still think my face is a little powdery than what i would want it to be. what to do to remove the powdery look? it's so difficult pala na magchange from liquid foundie to powder one.  :(

tsaka sisses, what shade of multipurpose powder will be a good highlighter for the cheeks to give the glowing effect? thanks! :)

Pero it's worth a try naman since may sample size naman sila.

sis, iba iba talaga ang effect ng primer depending on skin type.  from what i noted in my oily skin, the sheer velvet works to matify it. both under the foundation and at times, on top.  i use it for daily workday.  for the liquid primer, maganda effect nya, may glow for occassions na you want a more dramatic effect.  it looks creamier and it has a different flawless glow if you see a picture of yourself wearing it.  though i get oily at the end of the day with it.

as for powder foundation, start with just a little,  apply more if needed.  for the powdery look, try brushing the excess with the powder brush.  if you dont want the flat powdery look, use the liquid primer.

^ah. ok sis i'll try brushing the excess off. what i do is two thin applications of the foundation (both wet method). i'll go try to brush off the excess if ever then apply the finishing powder afterwards. thanks! what i do to combat the powdery look is to apply a lot of moisturizer. at first what i used is celeteque pero sobrang powdery pa rin niya so i opted to use emu oil na. ayun ok naman though i get kinda oily-shiny through the day. also, within the day i use evian din.

rave lang about ellana's finishing powder (espresso con panna - oil absorbing).

umattend ako ng debut ng pinsan ko just this weekend and yung iba kong dalagitang cousins eh walang kamake up makeup. eh ang nilagay ko lang sa makeup kit ko ay yung ellana finishing powder plus yung avon kabuki brush ko. aba kahit mas maitim yung mga pinsan ko kesa sakin, umepek ang finishing powder sa kanila!

now i'm loving it on top of benefit high beam para di masyadong shiny ang face.
