  So sad... Ellana HD Powder made me breakout... Sayang

help mga sis! tagal ko nang user ng ellana foundie..but yesterday and today napuno nang pantal face and neck ko after ko maglagay ng foundie! pwede ba yun? bigla na lang magkaroon ng reaction..

@fornarina - nung nagkapimples ka, tinapon mo na ba yung brush mo or nadaan naman sa hugas yung brush?

yung brush ko kinuha nalang ng mom ko kasi hindi naman sya sensitive tapos hindi ko na ginamit yung brush cleaner. Naka 3 bottles rin ako nun in denial kasi ako na yun ang cause ng breakout ko e

^ lagot.. nagkapimples din ako ngayon. inoobserbahan ko pa kung dahil malapit na bisita or dahil sa brush cleaner. ang ginhawa pa man din gamitin kasi di na pahirapan pagtutuyo..

went to the Ellana office, i asked them what shade is perfect for my skin tone, they tried hazelnut latte on my face..
It was ok at first,but when i got out of the bldg, my hubby said maputi daw, then i looked at the mirror, oo nga, it's a lighter shade siguro..
I trusted them naman, so i bought what they recommended me, sana they can replace it pa since hindi ko pa naoopen yung binili ko =)
its nice pa naman, parang ang light nya and matte ang dating sa face, good coverage too. I'll try the darker shade =)

^Usually kasi sis, nag ooxidize yung foundies ng ellana. (In my opinion) Kaya siguro lighter shade yung ni-recommend nila sayo. Maganda sis yung Butter rum coffee nila for highlighting. Mukhang natural na may glow sa face. Try mo sis ipa-palit, kasi last time nagpapalit ako, pwede naman. Nagkamali kasi sila that time ng bigay ng product sa akin.

I ordered thru multiply the Ellana Sheer Velvet High Definition Mineral Powder Primer in White Chocolate, ngayon confuse na ako paano ko siya gagamitin.. First ba sunblock tapos yung primer pagkatapos bb cream tapos powder foundie na?? Help namn if ano ang tamang procedure or step by step to do it. Thanks

Now, I remember why I stopped using my ellana foundation before. Grabe kasi ako pag pawisan pag nag ellana foundi ako as in buo buo yung pawis sa face ko. Ang lalaki. haha. Mga sis, nangyayari din ba sa inyo to?

from what i know, rule of thumb is cream first then powder... so sunblock, your bb cream.  let it dry.  then the sheer velvet, let it settle.  then the powder foundie.

@powerofpink ahahaha! korek ka jan sis! kaya din tinigil ko si Ellana White choco kasi namumuo. Sinubukan ko nga ulit gamitin last Monday. Sayang kasi eh, kaya ginawa ko syang eye primer. Grabe. Wala pang 30 minutes, nag settle agad sa crease ng eyelids ko. Hirap pa naman tanggalin.

Nakakaadik yung multipurpose mineral powder ng Ellana! I've been experimenting with different styles of eyeshadow-ing the past few weeks. Maganda yung eye primer nila, makes the colors last throughout the day.

Still haven't found my match with their foundation, though. Hirap magmatch! But atleast I have my undertone down, cool yellowish pala ako. Kala ko one of the other 2, hindi din pala. >.< Their stick concealer in Alive gamit ko din ngayon. HD primer makes my foundation lighter, kaya pag naglagay din ako nun, halata the difference in the color of my face and neck.. So I might forgo the HD primer next time.. Yung liquid primer ba nila maganda?

dun sa mga namuo ang HD primer?  what did you use liquid foundation or powder?

It works well with powder kasi.  i use the french vanilla over the HD primer.  With my oily skin, it looks light pag ka apply.  but after an hour or two. nag settle na sa skin kaya match na with my skin.  i also use the liquid primer if i want a more creamy look.  iba effect ng liquid but both does their work well.

I find it weird that both french vanilla and hazelnut ellana foundation suit my skin tone. Which one should I really buy?

^ its not weird, okay lang yun.  with me i use french vanilla even if my exact color is hazelnut.  i have oily skin and hazelnut seems too dark on my face mid day.  thats why french vanilla is better so after a few hours, its my exact match.  what i do sometimes is use FV, then dust with a little hazelnut.  Thats what the Ellana experts taught me.

Meron bang nung comedogenic ingredient (macadamia nut oil) yung intensive care/coverage and pure blend foundations ng ellana? Sisses do you have breakouts when you ised these? Thanks! /)
