referring to the previous post, i used magic cream but after hearing several horror stories about it here in GT, I decided to stop using it na. I was able to withdraw naman but for a week or two, naging super dry ng skin ko expecially sa undereye and eyelids area. plus, i was afraid na magka-pimples or something, buti it didn't happen. what i did was, i just patiently washed my fash with cetaphil. minsan nakaka-frustrate kasi kahit anong wash, dry pa rin siya, as in. I used celeteque toner and water-based moisturizer afterwards. then i used mena (mom referred this to me). ayun, after a while, my facial skin improved, was able to withdraw from magic cream (which I now swear NOT to use anymore). During this phase nga lang when my skin got super dry easily, hindi ako naglalagay ng kahit anong make-up even loose powder, lipgloss and/or lipstick lang talaga tapos puro water, water and water. But I must admit na merong day na na-tempt na talaga akong bumili ng magic cream ha para lang bumalik sa dati yung skin ko, but when i went to mercury drug, nasa pharmacy section pa siya so tinamad na ko, hahahaha. now, surprisingly, my skin is better than when i used magic cream. *happy with it*

Ellen's Miracle whitening cream looks like the old formulation of Amira, which I could say, is really effective. Does anyone know where to buy that kind of formulation? Expensive kasi yung kay Ellen's.. costs Php1500 for 30g..

Here is my detailed reviews of the so called Magic Creams that I used.

First i tried Amira Magic Cream- Ivory in color and very creamy in consistency sya. Im hiyang aaminin kong naging blemish free ang skin ko dito nung una, mejo mainit kasi sa katagalan sa face,parang piniprito and namumula kaya tinigil ko.

Second ko tnry ko ang St Dalfour Cream- Yes! i considered it as a magic cream hehe. amoy herbal sya and beige in color. Sobrang mahal pa nya dati i bought my dalfour cream for almost 1,700php naengganyo kasi ako parang ang flawless ng face ng seller sa multiply. well, sobrang flawless din naman ang naging result sa face ko..yung tipong binabati ako ng mga classmates and prof ko way back college. pati si bf sabi "ang kinis natin ngayon ah!" 1 jar pa lang yan. pero nakaconsume ako ng almost 3 jars bago tumigil. parang napansin ko kasi na wala na syang effect sakin. parang nangungulubot yung face ko haha. swear. at nung tinigil ko na.. ayun! bongga ang laki ng initim ng face ko.. parang gusto ko talaga paniwalaan na may mercury sya. hmp! badtrip.

And third and last na gamit ko now ay yung Celys Magic Cream which i bought from my friend na padala from saudi ng mommy nya. yun daw kasi ang magic cream na safe and effective na originally from there baka masira lang daw face ng anak niya kung makakabili ng fake kaya nagpadala na sya. mejo hesitant pa ko kaya mega research ako sa net. and boom! infairness orig sya. Pumuti and naging glowy yung skin ko. Parang laging inlove,blooming hehe! naimpisan yung mga pimples ko sa noo and pati yung dark pimple scars nagfade sya. I dont think my mercury sya kasi nakasulat sa site nila na naresearch ko yung mga ingredients eh.

^ i've been using amira sa ua ko for a week na. Hindi naman siya nagbabalat. Pero kasi, I do exfoliate my uas kaya baka la nang dead skin cells na matanggal...

Avril : I have spoken to someone from Ellen's who is in the know of Ellen's Miracle Whitening Cream's formulation, and she has assured me that it is not in any way connected to Amira or any other brand in the market raw. She tried all the other brands in the market, and the consistency of Ellen's is really thicker raw. She swears by it, that she could not live without it!

As for me I was able to try a pot, and of course, I was surprised with the price tag, being P 1,500.00 But then, I applied it on my elbows, and wala pang one week, my elbows turned really light already that made it look slightly pink! I was shocked of its effectivity. Now, I am furiously applying it on my knees and other dark spots hoping that they'd lighten as well! I'm on to my next pot, and I will definitely get one again!

Hi sis! I've back read your posts here. When I've found out what happened to you, I also started to stop using amira magic cream. I've used it for almost 3 years na. This year nagkakarashes ako kahit ginagamit ko.  Most likely ayaw na ng skin ko sa  content kaya lumalabas na mga rashes.  Right now sobrang dry ng skin ko and oh so itchy and mahapdi.  I've consulted a dermatologist and according to her withdrawal symptoms na daw ang na-eexperience ko.  Ultra hypoallergenic moisturizer lang ang pinalalagay niya sa akin.  She even adviced me to only use soap-free ingredients when washing my face.  Dapat daw sana bibigyan niya ako ng steroids but when I relayed to her na dahil sa steroids kaya nagkaganito skin ko, she didn't want me to use them or take any oral medication.
Right now under observation pa ako for 2 weeks. Mga ilang weeks ba ito bago bumalik sa dati ang skin ko?  Thanks in advance and swear...I won't be using magic creams for the rest of my life!

nakakatakot mga experienced! i like to use pa naman a magic cream but not for the
face sa darker spots of the body lang. Dont take risk on your face use mild lang dun.
BDW anyone use a MAGIC CREAM from UNO?

Sa mga hindi pa gumagamit ng magic cream at planong gumamit, please wag na kayo magumpisa. Matagal na ko gumagamit ng AMIRA magic cream, maganda sya habang ginagamit pero napapansin ko tuwing humihinto ako nagda-dry ang mukha ko at may mga lumalabas na butlig, kaya i always end up using the product again, kasi nga yun lang ang nagpapagaling sakin, pero 2 weeks ago, i decided to totally stop na  especially after reading other people's blog na may withdrawal syndrome  pag huminto, after a week na wala na yung amira, eto na..sobrang dry, may mga butlig at sobrang pangit talaga, pumunta ako sa derma, sinabi ko kung ano ang ginagamit ko, i even brought my last bottle of amira, she told me, there was a time during one of dermatologist's convention napag discuss nila ang tungkol sa mga magic creams and there's this one brand na di nya naman masabi kung ano,na nagpositive sa 3 kinds of steroid. She didn't say na may steroid ang Amira, but obviously, ang nangyayari sakin ay steroid withdrawal. Pwede ko to pabayaan ng ganito, hayaang mag break out and let time heal it pero di alam until when, but i asked her kung may iba pang pwedeng gawin. She gave me a very mild steroid para gamitin for 1 week then we will taper, means unti unting tatanggalin we'll start with twice a day then once a day tapos every other day, hanggang masanay nang wala.. Now, she also asked me to have my kidney and liver checked dahil sa tagal ko na ginagamit ang AMIRA at kung may steroid nga yan, malamang na naka apekto na din sa loob ng katawan ko, i hope not, so far wala naman ako nararamdaman na hindi maganda pero kung meron man, atleast malaman na ng maaga para maagapan. Gusto ko mag demanda sa manufacturer ng AMIRA, i don't know where to start. ill keep you posted pag umabot na ko sa ganun.. Now, the reason why i wrote this is simple..TO WARN YOU GUYS, mga naeengganyong gumamit, may planong gumamit, at lalo na sa mga gumagamit na ng mga MAGIC CREAMS na yan.. alam kong maganda yan, while you're using it napaka supple ng skin nyo at talaga namang effective, pero i dare you to stop for 2 weeks, baka after 1 week lang makita nyo na ang sinasabi ko..and worse pa kung pati loob ng katawan natin maapektuhan na..Wala akong ibang dahilan kung bakit ko ginagawa to, hindi ito dahil may ibang produkto akong gustong i offer at sisiraan ko ang MAGIC CREAMS, simpleng tao lang ako, ito ay dahil ako mismo ang nakakaranas, at baka sakaling makatulong ako sa iba na papunta palang dito sa nangyayari sakin ngayon dahil sa AMIRA magic cream. Please wag kayo gumamit nito at kung gumagamit na kayo..huminto na kayo..

years ago reader lang ako dito,and may thread na regardng  magic creams,,i have a friend na gumagamit ng magic cream amira,,true na super kinis,white as if parang maniquin o korean skin,,,marami na engganyo gumamit,nagmukha pa nga akong kontrabida o inggetera kasi pinagsabihan ko sila tungkol sa nabasa kong bad effecs dito,,now ito na problem ng friend ko,,hindi na effective kahit gamit pa nya,nagka acne sya and worst ang lalaki pa,,,so punta derma,,gastos galore pero till now ganun padin....ganun din nangyari sa iba,,so now sabi nga nila dapat nakinig sila sakin but i told them,better magresearched bago magpahid ng kung [textspeak!] ano.....

Nasira UA ko dahil sa amira. I used it for months and was so impressed with the result, kaso dahil nga mga negative reviews I stopped for awhile. Hindi naman ako nakaranas ng withdrawal.

I didn't use any whitening creams after that just my arbutin deo. Few months after,may part lang na medyo nagbrown sa ua ko dahil sa waxing so I decided to use amira again just on the part na discolored sana, but just after the 2nd day of use, ayun biglang tinubuan na ako ng butlig butlig on parts where I applied, tapos sobrang namula tas sobrang kati. Mukhang eczema  .. It's been a week na, I've been using vitamin e oil and thank god nagsubside, at nasa healing process na. Although nangitim na sya, hoping ako na maibalik parin yung dating skin tone ko, pero I will never use magic creams anymore, especially creams na di naman talaga ako sure sa contents kasi it is not really worth it!

go natural na lang it's a much better remedy for darkening underarms. with my experience, I stopped using perfumed/ formulated deodorants and switched to tawas 11 years ago. it's a natural whitener though it might take YEARS to brighten the pits, at least the results are SAFE and long lasting. I get a lot of praises and I only have one word to give- TAWAS. these magic creams do have adverse effects. I bet my life on it.

I tried amira magic cream on my underarms and stretchmarks but its not effective. I've been using it for almost 3 weeks na. I'm also using [textspeak!] magic cream for my inner thighs and mas nag lighten siya. Hiyangan lang talaga. You really have to find the product that would work on your skin.
