Gift giving to a gym trainer

i have a gym trainer and he has been training me for 2 to 3 months.  is it ok to give gift to him for christmas, as i've read somewhere that it is not proper for a girl to give gifts to a guy. thanks.

Haha! I didnt know that its improper, I give gifts to my guy friends when I was in college.

I actually plan to give my trainer a gift for helping me lose weight despite me being a brat during workout. Pero simple lang. Care to share what you'll be giving? Ang hirap umisip kasi!

i give gifts to my good guy friends and professors before because they were .. kind, nothing else.

parang a token of appreciation & thanks for being a good person.

thanks for sharing.  i just read from an etiquette book that it is improper to give gifts to guy friends.  i've decided to give my trainer something for christmas, just a token of appreciation.

^Don't give the guy articles as a gift, baka mamis-interpret niya. If you want to simply show appreciation, give something innocent like, cake siguro - just make sure it's non-fat, no sugar added..he he

IMO, it's okay to give gifts to guys. Bakit naman hindi? Siguro depende nalang kung ano yung gift na ibibigay.

When I arrived from Bangkok last year, nag-bigay ako ng pasalubong sa trainer ko, yung isang largest bar ng Cadbury. Natuwa naman siya. LOL! I was really close to my trainer kasi eh. Nahirapan ata siya sakin kasi masyado akong pasaway and mareklamo so pampalubag loob, binigyan ko siya. LOL!

I got really close to my previous trainer. I had him for 6mos ata. He really helped me lose talaga. Gave him gift for christmas (polo shirt) and his birthday (stop watch).

Nothing wrong naman with that. For as long as you both know where you stand.

Binigyan ko yung Trainer ko ng Pollys chocolate Cake nung birthday niya. Nagpakain kasi siya sa Gym nung birthday niya and he invited me. So I brought nalang something para di naman nakakahiya. Ok lang naman. To think super crush ko siya ha hehe
