Teething

Hello!

I have a six month old babe who's also teething. Nakakaawa kasi he wakes up at night, wailing talaga.

What is Camilia Drops? Someone just told my husband to use Xylogel. Has anyone tried this? Ok din ba? Or much better ang Camilia Drops? Thanks!

^ a lot of moms use xylogel and orajel so i guess those are effective too. We tried orajel din in the beginning.

We go to a pedia who practices natural medicine and when i asked for a recommendation to help with teething pains, she said chamomilia (sp?) drops. When i went to healthy options, boiron camila drops was what they had so that's what i got. I never used orajel again kasi super effective samin yung camilia drops. You may read more about it here:

Between orajel and camilia drops, i find it easier to give the latter kasi squeeze the contents of the vial into the mouth lang vs orajel that you have to rub/spread on the gums.

hi sissies, my baby is turning 3mos this month and her teeth is finally out.
yes you read it right at 3mos may teeth na sya! na loka ako kasi nung nilabas ko sya may parang white thingy sa gums nya, i just wonder kung ano yun then i ask her pedia and told me na may teeth na daw si baby 
meron na ba dito na may ganitong experince?

^^Thanks for the advice! Kaso my hub bought the xylogel na. Try ko muna to tapos pag uncomfortable siya, try ko din yung camilia drops. Mukang mas ok nga yung drops kesa paspread.

^^sis xadie28,nahirapan ba sya mag-teeth?my baby just turned 4mos last week,tapos ngayon parang ang lakas nyang mag-laway and lagi nyang nilalagay finger nya sa mouth sa side..humina din mag-milk at mababaw ang tulog..could this be it?

How long do babies teeth for? My daughter's been showing signs of teething for the past month but no teeth are in sight.

Some days she gets extra fussy so we give her the camilia drops and that helps, but is a month too long? Or is being fussy my baby's personality?

^ganyan rin baby ko before then yun affter more than a month we saw nalang na may puti na sumisilip sa gums.

^^khrisee my J is the same as your daughter H... he's also been showing signs of teething pero no tooth/teeth yet. Although when we look closely sa gums may parang white patches but nothing coming out of the gums yet.

I'm scared when the teeth come out, I'm Bfeeding pa kasi... Yikes!

Good  thing I read this thread! My daughter's Symptoms fit! Buti na Lang the teether I bought recently was water-filled so I did what other moms here did. Chilled the water filled teether! and voila! D loved it! Pag Hindi na cold ayaw na niya. Haha. Next thing to do is buy that camila drops Kasi she's soo fussy most of the time. And refuses to sleep in her crib. Gusto Lagi Karga. Although kanina she slept in her crib. Gotta have that camila drops ASAP!

sa baby ko, i bought her isang soft and isang hard na type ng teether. both are water-filled and can be stored sa fridge para cool siya pag sinubo na ni baby.

pero ang best buy for me is her baby banana toothbrush kasi soft and bendable siya. okay na teether and okay na pang-train sa baby for brushing her teeth. chaka nalilinis yung dila nya because of the very soft bristles

My baby loved her baby banana toothbrush as well but we used it as a toothbrush talaga, not as a teether.

^ our water-filled teethers were chicco and munchkin. I liked din yung teethers ng richell kasi may case kaso hindi water-filled.

My daughter loved sophie the giraffe also.

Parang wala naman effect yung Xylogel.

You would know that your little one is really teething kapag umiiyak na kinakagat yung kamay. No sucking whatsoever.

I want to buy Orajel sana but its a bit expensive but I saw a cheaper counterpart. Baby Sensigel yung name. para siyang brush pen na ipapahid mo sa gums ni baby. Around Php 180 lang siya and same lang ng active ingredient ng Orajel teething relief.

^yung baby ko ngayon would grab my fingers and bite me. haha! he loves it when i massage his gums. still waiting for the camilia drops. ang tagal mag-erupt ng 2nd set ng teeth niya. his first 2 teeth erupted when he was 6months. 8months na siya ngayon and still his gums are swollen but no sign that the tooth will come out soon. parang nakakaawa lang din kapag di mapakali and would do gigil when biting things.

Normal lang ba mga sis na at the age of 17 mos eh 8 palang ang teeth? 4 sa taas at 4 sa baba..
