I agree oa ang presyo ng 1k/letter pero sinasarili ko na lang yun komento kasi subjective ang pagpresyo pag crafts kasi skill ng tao sya magpresyo. Ang mahal kahit 5-letter lang name ng anak ko.

Harinawa e tuloy2x na mamahalan ako baka mamya ipagawa ko pa rin hirap magcontrol pag nasimulan na.

Here's my story and ratings from my son's 1st birthday party which was held last Sunday, March 3.

Super sipag! He was all over the place! I saw some of the pics in his camera and I must say, I am very satisfied and impressed. Will still wait for all the pictures which will be delivered 5 to 7 days. Medyo busy daw kasi sila.

Cake: Sweet Creations by Baked Republic
Score: 10+++/10
Peso power: 5400 (package of 1-layer cake with 50 cupcakes)
What can I say, super sarap ng cake and cupcakes nya. they delivered the cake and cupcakes exactly on time.

Host/Magician/Ventri/Balloon Twisting: Rhenzo
Score: 10+++/10
Peso power: 5000 (got a discount)
Oh my! Life saver ko ito (was stressed out before the party started)! the kids as well as the adults enjoyed his show. dumating sya an hour earlier before our party time.

Venue/venue decor/bubble show/face painting: Funhouse
Score: 5/10
Peso power: 5000 venue + 6000 decor/bubble show/facepainting
Madaling macontact. Nung nagbook ako, indicated pa don na merong projector. However, tinaggal na pala nila yung projector for good. Sabi ni AE, kung ok lang tarp or bubble machine na lang ipalit. I went for the tarp kaya lang, hindi ko maconvince ang sarili ko na ok yung tarp sa theme ko so nilet go ko si tarp. Pagdating ko dun, kinabit nila si bubble machine na na-enjoy naman ng kids.

Caterer: SIP (inhouse of Funhouse)
Score: 5/10
Peso power: 20,000 for 100 pax (free tarp, choco fountain, candy buffet)
Food was masarap naman. Waiters were fast and courteous.

Eto na ang stress. Since inhouse caterer si SIP ng Funhouse, dumaan kay Funhouse yung mga orders ko and requests. My motiff was specifically royal blue and yellow since prince ang theme namin. Ito ang mga hindi nasunod:
1. When we arrived, the balloons and table clothes were in baby blue, not royal blue. So I demanded na palitan all those na table clothes na baby blue. Dumating na lahat ng guests namin, wala pa si table clothes!
2. Iba yung buffet centerpiece na nakalagay dun. Instead na wishing well, yung Falls ang nakalagay.
3. I specifically asked that the table napkins be in red. Instead, table napkins were in white! Since wala ng oras, yung white na ang nilagay nila.
4. The chocolate fountain was not working! Yung white chocolate lang ang working, but the dark chocolate, waley!

Hindi ko alam kung sino ang may kasalanan sa kanila. Baka nagkaroon sila ng miscommunication. Pinakita sa akin nung may-ari yung contract, nakalagay lang dun blue, not specified na royal blue. Apologetic naman si may-ari and si Funhouse pero shempre, na-stress ako ng bongga!

^^ ah so hindi pala talaga gumagana yung choco fountain. nagtataka ako nung nakita ko sa pic bakit walang nagflo-flow. akala ko baka sa lamig kaya tumigas yung chocolate.

KIDSTAR KASTLES:
I can give KK for 10/10.
They have exceeded my expectations. Super nice si Imma first time ko say nakita nakakaintimidate lang say peer once u get to know her ok na. May kinonsider ako iba planner peer iba young kay Imma. Naging festive talaga young venue namen. Dami nay tinulong saken na nagpagaan sa event namen. She offered to do some things for me. If only based lang kami sa Pinas i'll booked them again sa next event namen.

HOST:APOLLO 9/10
I love Apollo, he's super funny. Nakuha talaga nay mga guests ko kids and adults
I gave him 9/10 kase di nay diniscuss saken young program para nasabi ko young bang highlights.

ENTERTAINTER:LOU HILARIO 10/10
Lou gave us an excellent entertainment for kids and adults. I love his magic illusions. Super saya talaga si Ced. He's also nice to me. Minsan binibigyan nya ako ng mga advices sa party.

CATERING:JOSIAH'S 10/10
Great food!! As their second time client dami nil ginawa extra requests ko. We had enough food for everyone +++ The servers are hardworkers

PHOTOGRAPHER: Michelle Morelos 10/10
I picked Michelle to be one of our photographer kase I love her works hindi OA young editing nya. Hindi nay iniiba young colors basta normal lang same pa din. Yung iba kase di realistic  like nagging kulang blue or purple. She's a sweetheart pa

Nelwin Uy (TEAM B) 10/10
His team arrived on time. We had so much time to take some pics at the Hotel. These young guys are really approachable. My son was so comfortable with them during the preps.

EXCELLENT videographer. Actually, after our church wedding Ian became my instant friend. Lagi ko say nakakachat till I planned for Cedric's 7th birthday. He never work as a videographer for kiddie parties first time lang samen. Honestly, pinilit ko lang say. LOL That was nice of him na pumayag naman. Kasama say ni Jason M sa wedding ko that's why I met him. Sabi nya sa hubby ko "challenging to kase di pako gumawa ng kiddie party"
Sabi ko ok lang yan, I trust you!! He smiled at me.. After nay pinakita yung SDE ng anak ko I whispered to him "mas maganda pa yung SDE ni Ced kesa sa wedding ko" LOL

CAKE: LES SUCRERIES 9/10
I gave Veronica 9/10 because she doesn't have a good customer service. I know, she's sick but there are times that she's grumpy when I ask some questions regarding the cake. Parang napipilitan lang say sa ginagawa nay pero na exceed nay expectations ko sa cake. Sana lang mag improve customer service nay

HOTEL FOR PREPS: MANILA PEN 10/10
EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

CANDY STATION: GRACIOUS FAVORS 10/10
Grace is so creative when it comes sa works nya. Hindi ako na disappoint talaga

FOODCARTS
TATERS (FRIES/POPCORN) 6/10: My friend booked them kase she got them on her kids birthday party last year. They were nice pero the manager lied to me sabi nay promos daw di sila mag exceed sa wattage na gagamitin. If macharge kami palitan ko nailing ng nachos para di na gumamit ng fryers. Nacharge ako Blue leaf ng 6k for the electricity. 7k young foodcarts nil + electricity para di yata reasonable yup. Sana sinabi nailing nil young totoo diva.

STARBUCKS: 5/10
5/10 lang for starbucks coz the staff were so rude to my friend nun ibook nay sill for me. Tinawag yang tat na client friend ko. Just because nagbook kami maaga tat na kagad sinabi kazoo na wrong send lang sila. Di nil alma nabasa namen We booked them early kase limited lang daw booths nil. Sana isipin muna nil mga text nil bago sill magsend.

THUMBS UP: 10/10
I love the ice cream not too sweet peer ok flavors. They gave us enough ice cream

Venue & Cake: Wheatberry 10
Php 50,280 for 100 guests, 20 kids, 3 tier cake, free cake, ice cream buffet, balloon decors, sound system and corkage
-overall we are satisfied with the way the staff of Wheatberry handled our event. we just need a couple of revisions with cake design because they have some specifications. all i want is a boiled icing choco moist cake with pink, purple and white color with crowns, when we went there morning before the party, the cake was fondant but they did not charge us of the upgrade because they had miscommunication

So we didn't think twice of getting them, we had a pre birthday shoot 2 weeks prior to the birthday and we had a shoot at the hotel before going to the venue... pictures are lovely, no editing needed, we got pictures the same day we really love osep and mimi

We live in Manila and party is in QC so we decided to have a post valentine's family date at a hotel and our daughter enjoyed a lot, had her first dip in the pool before we attend the mass and was really mesmerized seeing herself in full body mirrors Hotel is relatively new, they let us have our checkout even until 1:30 pm, bringing in of food is allowed. we had a little shoot at the pool area but they charge extra for wedding pictorials.

Invitation: pop up invite DIY by me 10+++ for effort
I wanted the invitation to set the mood for the party. Everyone who received it really said it was nice and hard word is visibly put on it. I only made 30 invites.

Gown: Venessa Ocampo 10++++

Ms Ven did my wedding gown and when I asked her for a quote, she said that she will give it as a gift to my daughter. Everyone loved the  gown, my daughter really looked like a princess. Ms Len was early during the party. She was supposed to be in Fairy Godmother outfit but had a mishap and ended up being Snow White. The guests, both kids and adults loved her. We had more than 100 prizes so there were lots of games. The only thing is that the assistant doesnt know how to give appropriate prizes even if I explained to her which are for adults, unisex, boys or girls. I saw an adult with a shape sorter and a girl with a sword 

Photobooth: Party Shutters 10++

xadie, i hope mine's an isolated one. i don't think it's my fault kasi nakalagay sa contract namin na royal blue and yellow ang motiff ko. plus, medyo na off ako kasi they had a bday party 2 hours before ours. siguro girl yung celebrant, may mga pink na tela and balloons na naiwan don. eh boy yung sa akin. hindi na nila pinalitan.

Just finished my daughter's 7th bday party today and just want to give my feedback regarding our service providers (PICS TO FOLLOW)

VENUE, CAKE, FOOD, SOUND SYSTEM AND DECOR: Wheatberry Bakery and Cafe (Rating: 10/10). Nora was efficient and accomodating. The prices are reasonable and the food was good. Contrary to what was posted here regarding na mainit ang A/C in certain areas, we did NOT have this experience. I reported this complaint I had read on line to Nora and she said that it was their policy to only turn on the A/C 1 hour before the party (which I find reasonable) and maybe that person had gone there more than 1 hour before the party schedule. The decor exceeded my expectations and I was surprised it looked that good (free pa yun sa package, major plus!) so I didn't use the extra decors I bought. The sound system was good and came with an efficient sound tech (sosyal!) and again this was free (kasama sa package, another major plus). The waiters and attendant were all courteous, friendly, attentive and quickly responded to requests. So many guests were impressed with Wheatberry (even more so when they discovered I got the decors, cake and sound system with tech free) and asked me where I had discovered the place. Siempre mention ako ng GT, hahaha!

KIDDIE SALON, NAIL ART. GLITTER TATTOO AND FACEPAINTING: Art n Faces (Rating 10/10)
Smooth transaction with Liby. The artists came to the venue more that 1 hour before the start of the party and were very professional, courteous and talented! Ang kids, pila sa kanila lagi so that I asked for stop time everytime there were games just so all kids can join the games, hahaha! To think that I never had face to face meetings with Liby, sobrang efficient nila, galing pa!

SOUVENIRS: Mini-stools II from handicrafts atbp (Rating 10/10). Smooth transaction with Grace and great output with ontime delivery. The kids loved the stools and even asked for extra for their siblings at home! Thanks to the no-show  guests who had previously confirmed their attendance (grr!), there were extras to give away! Some parents were surprised to find that my souvenirs were so affordable: quality for less money than a lootbag with candies and lasts longer too! (di kasi sila nagbabasa ng GT, hahaha!)

INVITATIONS, BACKDROP (TARP AND DECORATIONS) + ARTS AND CRAFTS ACTIVITIES: DIY so siempre 10/10 ang rating, hahahaha!

HOST AND ASSISTANTS / ARTS AND CRAFTS ACTIVITIES ATTENDANTS: Des c/o Rosanne Araneta (Roxy Events and Party Place) (Rating 10/10)
She's a teacher so siempre flawless  English and accent and knew how to manage the kids. She easily adjusts the programme based on need and is so efficient and cool under pressure. Never nag-shout or naging matinis ang boses niya. Galing! Assistants were also efficient and professional.

VIDEOGRAPHER: Paul Bandolon of Photostreamer (based on work ethic and professionalism today, of course, pending actual output since this will take more time; Rating 10/10). He was efficient and professional yet unobtrusive when taking the video and pics. In fact my brother -in-law thought iba ang P&V provider ko because there was a dad who was also taking pictures, hahaha! Suave and cool lang ang dating ni Paul , always smiling and discreet while recording images! Though I only availed of the video package since my husband vetoed the photos saying we can take them naman (KJ!!!di naman kami professionals and affordable kaya packages ng Photostreamer!), Paul still took photos, ha! So I approached him at the end of the party and asked how much I could add to the package to get copies of the pics he took, he said that he would include them in the CD he would send me AT NO EXTRA COST (now wishing I gave him  more than the P200 tip I had given!!!)

As you can see, I was pleased with all my suppliers. Almost all of them I discovered through GT. Thanks GT talaga and so am posting this in the hope that it can help other party planning mommies out there!

kendi... kate had her birthday in wheatberry...package 4 kami. yes may server... wala masyado buffer ang food pero sumobra yung sa kid's buffet ko na pasta. will check the contract on the menu.. di ko memorize ang names...
