Bare Escentuals a.k.a Bare Minerals vs Body Shop Extra Virgin Minerals? Any thoughts? I'm only considering these two, especially for powder/foundation. trusted ko na ang Body Shop but I think I wanna try Bare Escentuals, so any feedbacks? tia!

sis maganda rin yung HD Mineral base ng Virginia Olsen. Better than Krave Oil Eliminator.
Prang nakakadry kase sobra yung sa Krave.

bakit sa mineral make up parang nangingitim ako after some hours di naman ako acidic kasi sa ibang make ups hindi ako ganun... kahit lightest shade na ng powder gamit ko dark pa din sa umpisa lang maganda

Not sure sa content.

Ako i love their eyeshadow. Ang dami kase and ang gaganda ng color. Hindi naman umiiba color ng shadows. Not sure with foundation kase hindi naman Ko nagfofoundation. Yung blush nila hindi din umiiba... So far for me.

I really love monave's concealer foundation, maganda ang finish and lasts longer than others. Almost running out too. Can anybody be kind enough to pm me the link to any local reseller of Monave?

Sophie of Beautynomics.com resells Monave. I'm not so sure if she still does at present.

I checked on my MMU pots just today (purchased last qrtr of '09)---- lahat na pala sila halos maitim na for my skintone! I can conclude na nag ooxidize ang MMU powders over time. Pure Anada ko and Joppa shade favorites are way too dark on me now.

Buti I never sold those that were shades lighter than me. Sila na ngayon ang kaswak ko.

Rediscovered MMU this Christmas break.

I did not want to use heavy make up so I've been using my Lauress mineral foundation again, since Dec. 27. The jar was stored in my dresser drawer for a long time now because mas preferred ko na ang liquid foundies lately. When I used it for two weeks, pansin ko kuminis ang face ko. Buti hiyang ako sa Lauress, sa ibang MMU brands hindi ako hiyang.

it could be oxidizing or reacting with the ingredient of the foundation. try using a primer underneath it and see the difference.

i was thinking of going mineral this school year but parang dry-ish face ko with minerals. btw question, if gumamit ng mga setting sprays (i.e. all nighter/model in a bottle), nag beautifully melt din ba ang mineral with it like it does fix+? yung two aforementioned kasi really makes the makeup stay longer eh.

and ugh 50 shades of gray ang fes ko with minerals, i dont think it's yellow enough for me. dilaw kasi ako. as in dilaw.

You can go to the office of Virginia Olsen in Greenhills, they let you try all the shades before you buy. Mas safe yun kase mahirap pumili sa pictures or catalogs lang.

I want to try Virginia Olsen's stuff but their website isn't really helpful when it comes to choosing one's shade and I don't have time to visit their office in Greenhills. ): Sana magkaroon sila ng shade guide in the future, yung parang nasa website ng Ellana.
