i've tried so many mineral make up brands, both independent and commercial, local and foreign. pero sa l'oreal mineral foundie ako pinakahiyang. when i was using this before, kuminis talaga ang skin ko.

other mineral foundies oxidize terribly on me. nagiging muddy tuloy tingnan.

to those using Joppa FC foundie, do you use it on its own? i just noticed that i can't or my application will either be patchy or cakey, even when i've cleansed, toned and moisturized properly. before i was using BB cream kasi maybe kaya di ko na notice na i can't use it alone. dati i was using L'Egere's. then since that's run out i tried to use on its own kaya lang palpak. when i recently used Dr. Jart before it ok na ulit. need ba niya talaga ng base lagi? curious lang, pero even if kailangan love ko pa rin toh!

napansin ko din to sis. medyo patchy sya pag on its own lang iapply. maybe because makapal sya i-apply? camellia primer naman ang gamit ko para even and long lasting sya. triny ko sya with a little water before din, doesnt work well

hindi ba nakakapimples ang mineral make up?? or hiyangan pa rin? tia!

^ Sakin di naman. Sensitive skin ako pero okay ako with  most MMU except for  Bare Escentuals

^^me too hindi naman. though i've only tried three local brands. i used somekind of mineral liquid foundation of maybelline dati, i dont know if it even qualifies as a mineral foundation. kasi for something that says "natural" and "mineral" it has quite a lot of ingredients and the list of ingredients is so similar with non-mineral foundations.

one thing i love about minerals is how easy it is to remove (though siyempre that earns some points against staying power), no need for make-up removers. makes my life easier at the end of the day.

also, i make it a point to just touch up once (pressed powder) kasi nagcacake na siya if masyado frequent, so to lessen the shine and oil what i use is blotting sheets na lang.

sisses, do you use facial mist to keep your mmu fresh and not cakey/patchy? i dont find the need to do this kasi with non-minerals.

ako rin hindi pinimples sa mineral makeup. pero generally sa tingin ko hiyangan pa rin. ang dami din kasing mineral makeup products out there eh.

^sis, ako hindi na, kasi sa akin hindi naman din nagiging patchy mmu.

for me hiyangan talaga yung mmu... kahit hindi ka magkapimples, yung iba namumula lang or scratchy. since face sya, better pa din na mag patch test just to be safe

^^sis yung pack of free samples ba? inorder ko to dating dati pa...ok siya kapag walang malapit na store sayo kung san matetest mo yung foundies (nakikita ko ellana sa mga SM minsan pag weekends). para matignan mo kung aling foundation shade/s yung babagay sa skin tone mo. baggie samples siya pero at least mattry mo yung product.

re Ellana sample pack, hay saken naman hinde nila naipadala. I requested for them to send it along with my order kasi, I dunno  if they overlook it or what pero sad kasi I was expecting it and I specifically reminded them about it on one of my e-mails

From BE to indie mmus, I've finally found what i can call my HG mineral makeup. A little goes a long way! Coverage is buildable and looks super natural.

I'm using BareNaturals, Monave, and Ellana. Okay naman lahat sa akin. =) Although minsan parang mas maganda ang finish ng Monave, medyo creamy but not oily.
