ok din ang beauty treats mineral foundation, sheer siya. affordable. less than 400php and madami. i also noticed that my face doesnt get oily, to think oily face ako.

i tried a few--pero bakit ganun ang effect sakin?!  para akong sun-kissed.  i look tanned daw sabi ng mga western friends ko. ngek. glowy masyado ang dating.

why not try lighter shades of minerals if it looks tan on you? malawak naman ang range ng MMU shades plus super dami pang brands din na pagpipilian

glowy meaning dewy ba sis? i think that's a positive note if you meant glowy=radiant hehe, bat naman ayaw mo yun? im thinking you meant that it appeared too dewy for your liking. try a different MMU formulation. may companies na nag ooffer yung matte blends/full and soft coverage...

^sis, i tried the ones lighter than my skin tone but after 10 minutes the least--para na akong sunkissed.  tanned.  although my western friends loves it--i am not comfortable. even my other asian friends loved it.  ako lang hinde hehe. siguro dahil hindi ako sanay na parang akong nag tan spray.

and yes, i looked radiant with it.

sa mga na try ko,  ang maganda yung ellana na intensive ( for oily skin) and luminare na mmu. ganda ng coverage tsaka di nakakabreak out. yung bare naturals kasi ndi na cocover ang black pimple marks ko.

gotcha! i think i know what you mean na. i usually experience this when:
a) im using a face base that oxidizes on me
b) im using aromaleigh URFP in translucent
c)im  exposing myself under direct sunlight without putting sunblock on(mmu lang bale)

yung finishing powder ko din paubos na, i might buy joppa or ellana na lang ulit. tipid mode eh.

Hi sisses. I've tried to backread but medyo nahilo na ako since we've reached Thread 32. Anyone can give their feedback on lauress minimalist vs ethereal? I like the minimalist formula pretty well but have also heard good things about the ethereal. Want to catch their BOGO sale. TIA!

I'm new to mineral make-up. Back read the threads. Nakakalito talaga sa dami ng pagpipilian. I bought ellana to start with since locally available sya. I went to their main office at west ave. last december. I bought their sheer velvet powder, tapos ang ni-recommend sakin nung SA dun is the perfect blend foundie in cafe mocha, fulfillment na blush, and whimsy na concealer. Full sizes na yung binili ko 'coz mahirap umalis-alis just to buy. I thought kung di ko magustuhan, bigay ko na lang sa mga kapatid ko  . I've only used the sheer velvet powder and foundie, tried the foundie/primer alone then magkasabay. So far i really liked the primer, very effective in keeping the oil at bay (my face is an oil mine!). Yung foundie di ko pa magustuhan since wala pa akong brush, panget ang pagkalagay ko sa face using just my fingers and di gaanong match sa akin yung foundie, parang lighter ng konti. Weird lang kasi nung ini-swatch sa jawline ko nagmatch naman. Baka nadala sa lighting. Di ko naman na-try yung next shade pero baka masyadong dark na yun. Di ako bumili ng brushes sa ellana nun kasi kulang na yung dala kong money and offline daw sa credit card that time. Just finished backreading the make-up brushes thread. Hunt na ako ng good yet affordable brushes.

Guys, I just read something about Lucy Minerals, and mukhang promising siya. Has anyone here had any experience with that?

For now, love ko talaga ang Monave. I stayed up with my friend til mga 5 AM last weekend and when I went to the bathroom, I was shocked to still find my foundation on! Wala na nga lang yung blush, pero I don't know how to make that stay put. Any suggestions?

waaah, dko maintindihan ang a & b. ano yun?! i really do not know what oxidizes on me. do i need to go to a derma?  aroamleigh URFP in translucent--hahha ano yun?   i am lost.

and i can't apply sunblock--i am allergic to most of it. namamaga mukha ko

any tips?

A. acidic kasi sis yung skin ko, so there are some face makeup that turns dark on me. muddy tignan, pangit, di malinis

B. ultra resolution finishing powder (URFP) from aromaleigh. it has 4 shades, one of them is translucent. nagiging reddish ang face ko after several hours lalo pag under the sun. im using peaches and cream now na mas okay ang effect sakin. pearlized ang makeup+ nabblur yung pores.

Inorder ko from a reseller of Ellana yung Innocence, yung green correcting concealer. Sa friday ko pa makukuha. May problem now is kung pano iapply ng tama para macover ng mabuti yung mga red acne marks ko. After the usual cleanse-tone-moisturize, ano na sunod? I hope someone can help me with this. if you have oily skin sis, you can prime your face after moisturizing. after nun, conceal, then foundie, setting powder (kung liquid/cream ang foundie), finishing powder.

So ok lang kahit powder yung concealer then liquid yung foundie? Yun kasi inaalala ko, na baka mawash off nung foundi yung concealer. Hehe. Thanks sis!
